Spektrum AR10360T+ 10-Channel Telemetry Receiver Overview

The Spektrum™ AR10360T+ 10 Channel AS3X+/SAFE Telemetry Receiver is a DSM2® and DSMX® capable receiver with a compact footprint to fit in a wide range of aircraft. The AR10360T+ is a full-range 10-channel receiver with built-in AS3X+® and SAFE® stabilization, which counters the effects of wind, turbulence, and torque using a 3-axis MEMS gyro and exclusive flight control software tuned by expert RC pilots. The all-new AS3X+ stabilization algorithm creates better flight performance, improved sensor accuracy, data rate, and provides pilots with a generationally different feel compared to AS3X. There is no delay in control response or limits on control throws. You'll simply feel like you're flying an expertly tuned model that does exactly what you want.

The AR10360T+ features full-range telemetry and an integrated barometer to provide altitude and vario telemetry data without additional purchase. XBUS, RPM, voltage, and temperature ports can be used to add additional telemetry sensors available separately. It also features two SRXL2 ports for SRXL2 Remote Receivers (SPM9747 or SPM4651T), available separately, to add additional RF path redundancy. An SRXL2/Bind/Program/Batt servo header is available to connect smart devices, program and update the receiver, bind with a traditional bind plus, or connect a battery. The AR10360T+ also features a bind button for easy binding with no plugs necessary and offers both SmartSafe™ technology and Hold Last, as well as preset failsafe types set through Forward Programming. Additionally, Smart Model Files allows BNF models to be stored on the receiver to automatically set the model at bind. The AR10360T+ also features a Micro USB connection for easy registration and updating with any micro USB cable using Spektrum's PC Programmer application.

SMART TRANSMITTER MODEL FILES SUPPORT

Smart Transmitter Model Files is a new feature on the AR10360T+ receiver that makes transmitter programming the easiest has ever been. It consists of a set of transmitter configuration parameters that are stored within the receiver's model file. When binding to a receiver containing one of these model files, the user will be prompted to download said model file and overwrite the currently selected transmitter model with the one stored on the receiver. This will provide the user with an easy and simple way to acquire a transmitter model setup for their BNF model without the need to set it up themselves or search for and download the corresponding model online.

Note: Supported transmitters currently are the iX20, iX14, and NX transmitters with the latest firmware updates.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • What is AS3X+ and how does it improve my RC aircraft flying experience? — AS3X+ is Spektrum's advanced 3-axis stabilisation system that uses an onboard MEMS gyroscope to automatically counteract wind, turbulence and torque effects. The new AS3X+ algorithm in this receiver provides improved sensor accuracy and data processing rates compared to previous AS3X versions, resulting in smoother, more stable flight characteristics that many pilots describe as flying an expertly pre-tuned aircraft. There is no delay in control response and no limiting of control throws, so your aircraft responds exactly as you command whilst the gyro smooths out environmental disturbances.
  • What is SAFE technology and how does it help me as a pilot? — SAFE (Sensor Assisted Flight Envelope) is Spektrum's technology that prevents over-control and extreme aircraft attitudes. SAFE works by limiting bank and pitch angles to predefined safe boundaries, helping prevent inadvertent stalls or dangerous attitudes. The receiver includes a Panic recovery mode that automatically returns your aircraft to level flight from any attitude with a single button press, allowing quick escape from difficult flying situations. SAFE can be customised and adjusted through forward programming on your transmitter.
  • Is this receiver suitable for beginner RC aircraft builders? — Whilst the AR10360T+ is a professional-grade receiver with advanced features, its forward programming capability from your transmitter makes setup straightforward without requiring computer software. However, this receiver is best suited to pilots with some RC experience, as it's designed for sport-class, parkflyer and giant-scale aircraft rather than basic trainer models. Beginners might consider simpler 6-channel receivers, although the AR10360T+ does offer excellent learning tools through its stabilisation and envelope protection features.
  • What voltage battery do I need for this receiver? — The AR10360T+ accepts input voltage between 3.5V and 9V, providing flexibility with various battery configurations. This range covers single-cell LiPo batteries (3.7V nominal) up to three-cell LiPo packs (11.1V nominal, though regulated to safe input levels). Your specific battery choice depends on your aircraft power requirements and ESC specifications rather than receiver voltage alone.
  • How does this receiver compare to the AR8360T+? — The AR10360T+ is the 10-channel version with expanded control capability compared to the 8-channel AR8360T+. Both feature identical AS3X+ stabilisation and SAFE protection technology. The AR10360T+ provides four additional control channels, making it ideal for complex aircraft configurations including separate flap, gear, retract and payload door controls, whilst the AR8360T+ suits simpler aircraft needing basic wing, elevator, rudder and throttle control.
  • Can I use this receiver with non-Spektrum transmitters? — No, the AR10360T+ requires a Spektrum DSM2 or DSMX compatible transmitter. It is not compatible with Futaba, JR, Hitec or other radio system brands. Ensure your transmitter is DSMX or DSM2 compatible before purchasing this receiver.
  • What telemetry data does this receiver provide without additional sensors? — The AR10360T+ provides full-range telemetry automatically including voltage, altitude and variometer (climb-rate) data via its integrated barometric sensor. RPM, temperature and additional data require optional telemetry sensor modules connected to dedicated ports. An XBUS port allows connection of advanced optional sensors for GPS, air speed and battery energy monitoring.
  • How do I update firmware on the AR10360T+? — Firmware updates are performed through the Micro USB port using a standard Micro USB cable (not included) and the Spektrum PC Programmer application on any compatible computer. When multiple remote receivers are connected, all units can be updated simultaneously. Visit www.spektrumrc.com for the latest firmware versions.
  • Can I add remote receivers for signal redundancy? — Yes, the AR10360T+ features two SRXL2 remote receiver ports supporting up to two additional remote receivers (SPM9747 or SPM4651T, sold separately). This provides RF path redundancy critical for large-scale and long-range aircraft operations, with seamless failover if the main signal path is compromised.
  • Is this receiver waterproof for outdoor flying? — The manufacturer notes that using this receiver in turbine-powered aircraft models is not recommended. Standard water resistance specifications are not provided in available documentation, so care should be taken in wet conditions. Consult the detailed instruction manual for environmental operating recommendations.
