Overview

The Corally Shock Oil Ultra Pure Silicone 750 CPS is an essential maintenance product for RC enthusiasts across the UK who demand precision performance from their shock absorbers. Whether you're running a competitive 1/10 scale buggy, a high-speed RC car, or any off-road RC vehicle that relies on finely-tuned suspension geometry, this premium silicone oil ensures your shocks perform consistently and predictably. Team Corally has engineered this product to meet the exacting standards of serious RC racers and weekend bashers alike, making it a trusted choice for anyone serious about maintaining their RC setup.

This 150ml bottle of ultra-pure silicone shock oil represents the gold standard in suspension maintenance for RC models. The 750 cSt viscosity rating (commonly referred to as 750 CPS) provides the perfect balance of damping characteristics, allowing your shock absorbers to respond precisely to track conditions, terrain changes, and driving inputs. When you're investing in quality RC vehicles—whether it's a ready to run RC car or a competition-grade platform—using the correct shock oil specification is absolutely crucial for achieving optimal handling, consistent lap times, and extending the life of your suspension components.

Corally is a brand recognised worldwide for producing high-quality RC components and consumables. Their commitment to purity and consistency means this shock oil won't break down under extreme conditions, won't separate or degrade over time, and will maintain its viscosity characteristics across a wide range of temperatures. For RC enthusiasts in the UK seeking professional-grade maintenance products, this shock oil delivers exceptional value and reliability.

Key Features

  • Ultra-Pure Silicone Formulation — This shock oil is manufactured from 100% pure silicone, ensuring there are no contaminants, additives, or fillers that could compromise damping performance or cause inconsistent suspension behaviour across multiple heat cycles during competitive racing or extended bashing sessions.
  • 750 cSt Viscosity Rating — The 750 cSt (centistoke) viscosity provides the ideal damping coefficient for a wide range of RC vehicles and driving conditions, making this one of the most versatile shock oil specifications for UK RC enthusiasts running various models and scales.
  • 150ml Generous Bottle Size — The 150ml capacity provides sufficient quantity for multiple shock refills and maintenance cycles, ensuring you won't run out mid-season and offering excellent value compared to purchasing smaller bottles repeatedly.
  • Consistent Performance Across Temperature Ranges — Ultra-pure silicone oils maintain their viscosity characteristics across varying ambient temperatures, which is particularly important for UK RC racing where outdoor track conditions can change throughout a single competition day.
  • Professional-Grade Quality — This product meets the specifications and purity standards expected by competitive RC racers and is used by serious competitors across Europe, ensuring you're using the same products trusted at the highest levels of RC motorsport.
  • Optimal for Precision Tuning — When you're fine-tuning your RC car's suspension geometry for maximum grip and responsiveness, using a consistent, high-quality shock oil is fundamental to achieving repeatable results and understanding how suspension adjustments actually affect your vehicle's handling.

Technical Performance

The Corally Shock Oil Ultra Pure Silicone 750 CPS represents the pinnacle of suspension maintenance chemistry for RC applications. At 750 cSt, this viscosity strikes the perfect balance between providing adequate damping resistance during suspension compression and allowing rapid rebound for responsive handling. The 100% pure silicone formulation means every millilitre is dedicated to performance—no synthetic blends, no water content, no particulate matter that could accumulate in your shock cylinders and cause inconsistency. Team Corally's manufacturing process ensures molecular stability, preventing viscosity breakdown even under the extreme pressures and temperatures generated during high-speed competition or sustained off-road bashing. This consistency is absolutely critical: when you're dialling in your RC car's suspension settings, you need to know your shock oil will perform identically from one heat to the next, one race day to the next. The 150ml bottle size provides ample supply for multiple shock servicing cycles—typically enough for 8-12 complete shock rebuilds depending on your vehicle's shock capacity. Professional RC teams across the UK and Europe specify this exact product for their competition vehicles because they know the performance is absolutely reliable and the purity is guaranteed.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • What viscosity shock oil do I need for my RC car? — The correct viscosity depends on your specific vehicle model, suspension design, and driving style. The 750 cSt specification is one of the most popular and versatile options suitable for most 1/10 scale RC buggies, trucks, and touring cars. Check your vehicle's manual or consult with experienced RC racers in your local UK RC club for the optimal specification for your particular model. If your manufacturer recommends 750 CPS or 750 weight, this Corally product is the perfect choice.
  • How often should I change my shock oil? — The frequency depends on usage intensity. Weekend bashers might service shocks every 3-4 months, whilst competitive racers often service shocks every few weeks during the racing season. Regular maintenance ensures consistent performance and extends the lifespan of your shock seals and internal components. If your shocks feel sluggish or inconsistent in performance, it's usually time for a service and fresh shock oil.
  • Why is pure silicone oil better than other shock fluids? — Ultra-pure silicone oil maintains consistent viscosity across temperature ranges, resists breakdown from physical stress and heat cycling, and doesn't separate or thin out over time like some synthetic blends. This consistency is absolutely critical for competitive RC racing where predictable suspension performance is essential for competitive lap times and vehicle handling.
  • Can I use a different viscosity if I want softer or stiffer suspension? — Yes, changing shock oil viscosity is one of the fundamental tuning methods in RC racing. Lower viscosity (thinner) oils like 500 cSt provide softer, more responsive suspension, whilst higher viscosity oils like 1000 cSt provide firmer, more controlled damping. The 750 cSt specification represents an excellent middle ground and is the most popular choice across the UK RC community.
  • Is this shock oil suitable for all RC vehicles? — This product is designed for any RC vehicle with shock absorbers that requires 750 cSt silicone oil, including 1/10 scale buggies, touring cars, stadium trucks, short-course trucks, and many larger scale vehicles. Always confirm your vehicle's original specifications before purchasing shock oil to ensure compatibility.
  • How much shock oil does each shock absorber need? — The capacity varies significantly depending on your vehicle's shock design. Typically, single shocks hold between 15-25ml, but larger vehicles may require more. Consult your vehicle's manual or the manufacturer's specifications for exact capacity. The 150ml bottle provides sufficient quantity for multiple services.
