Overview
The Corally Servo Saver Small 23 Spline is an essential replacement part for RC car enthusiasts in the UK who demand precision steering control and maximum servo protection. Whether you're racing a 1/10 or 1/12 scale RC buggy or touring car, this servo saver is engineered to prevent catastrophic servo damage during hard crashes whilst maintaining responsive steering input when you need it most. As any serious RC hobbyist knows, servo damage can be one of the most frustrating and expensive failures in competitive RC racing, making a quality servo saver an absolute must-have component in your spares box.
This molded composite servo saver set from Team Corally is specifically designed for use with Sanwa, KO Propo and JR servos featuring the standard 23 tooth spline interface. The pre-adjusted spring mechanism inside this servo saver strikes the perfect balance between protection and performance – it's strong enough to prevent extreme steering deflection from hard impacts, yet flexible enough to absorb shock energy before it reaches your servo's delicate internal components. Whether you're a weekend basher pushing your RC car to the limit or a competitive racer fine-tuning every aspect of your setup, this servo saver delivers the reliability and protection you need.
Available now at RC Model Shop, the Corally Servo Saver Small 23 Spline is compatible with 1/12 and 1/10 racing cars, making it an ideal upgrade or replacement for racers, hobbyists and anyone serious about protecting their servo investment. The pre-adjusted setup means you can install this and get straight back to racing without needing additional tuning – just fit it and enjoy the peace of mind that comes with genuine Corally protection.
Key Features
- Pre-adjusted Spring Mechanism — The servo saver features a precisely pre-adjusted spring that has been engineered to provide the optimal balance between servo protection and steering responsiveness, eliminating the need for further adjustment before use and ensuring immediate reliability from installation.
- Molded Composite Construction — Built from tough molded composite material, this servo saver is engineered to withstand the repeated impacts and vibrations experienced during competitive RC racing whilst remaining lightweight enough not to slow down your vehicle's steering response.
- 23 Tooth Spline Compatibility — The 23T spline interface ensures perfect compatibility with Sanwa, KO Propo and JR servo brands, which are amongst the most popular choices for serious RC racing in the UK and worldwide, making this an ideal replacement when your existing servo saver needs upgrading.
- Impact Deflection Prevention — The servo saver's clever spring design prevents extreme steering deflection caused by hard impacts, protecting your servo's internal gears and components from the sudden shock loads that can cause permanent damage during crashes.
- Crash Damage Prevention — During hard crashes, the flexible spring mechanism absorbs energy and protects the servo from catastrophic failure, meaning you can race hard knowing your steering servo is protected from the worst impacts the track can throw at it.
- Suitable for 1/12 and 1/10 Racing Cars — Whether you run a 1/12 scale mini touring car or a full-size 1/10 buggy or truck, this servo saver is engineered for both scales, making it an incredibly versatile addition to any RC racer's spares collection.
Technical Performance
The Corally Servo Saver Small 23 Spline represents quality RC engineering at an affordable price point. The molded composite construction provides the perfect blend of durability and weight saving – it's tough enough to handle repeated crashes and impacts without adding unnecessary weight that could affect your RC car's handling characteristics or acceleration. The pre-adjusted spring has been factory-tuned to provide immediate reliability, meaning there's no need for time-consuming setup or adjustment before fitting to your servo. This is particularly important for competitive racers who need to get back on the track quickly after a repair, and for hobbyists who simply want straightforward, hassle-free protection for their valuable servo components. The 23 tooth spline interface is the industry standard for quality servos, ensuring this servo saver will integrate seamlessly with your existing Sanwa, KO Propo or JR servo. The engineering philosophy behind this component is clear: provide maximum servo protection without compromising steering feel or responsiveness. When your steering servo experiences a hard impact – whether that's a collision with the pit wall or a high-speed crash during racing – the servo saver's spring mechanism deflects and absorbs the shock, preventing the servo's internal gears from experiencing the full force of the impact. This simple but effective design has proven itself in countless RC racing applications across the UK and beyond, making it an essential investment for any serious RC enthusiast.

Frequently Asked Questions
- What servo brands does the Corally Servo Saver Small 23 Spline fit? — This servo saver is specifically engineered for Sanwa, KO Propo and JR servos with the 23 tooth spline interface. Before purchasing, check your servo's specifications to confirm it has a 23T spline – this is the industry standard for most quality racing servos, but it's important to verify compatibility with your specific model.
- Will this servo saver fit my RC car? — The Corally Servo Saver Small 23 Spline is suitable for 1/12 and 1/10 racing cars, which covers the vast majority of competitive RC cars in the UK market. Whether you run a touring car, buggy or truck in either of these scales, this servo saver should be compatible with your steering servo setup.
- Do I need to adjust the servo saver before fitting it? — No adjustment is necessary. The servo saver comes pre-adjusted from the factory, meaning you can install it on your servo and get straight back to racing without needing additional setup or tuning. This makes it ideal for quick repairs during race meetings.
- How does a servo saver protect my servo? — During hard crashes or impacts, the servo saver's spring mechanism deflects and absorbs the shock before it reaches your servo's internal components. This prevents extreme steering deflection and protects delicate internal gears from damage, extending the lifespan of your servo significantly.
- Is the Corally Servo Saver Small 23 Spline good for beginners? — Yes, absolutely. Whilst servo savers are particularly valued by competitive racers, any RC enthusiast can benefit from this protection. If you're new to RC racing and learning the ropes, protecting your servo investment with a quality servo saver is a smart decision that will save you money in the long run.
- What's the difference between a servo saver and a fixed servo horn? — A fixed servo horn connects directly to your servo with no flexibility or spring mechanism, which means during crashes the full impact force is transmitted to the servo. A servo saver includes a spring mechanism that absorbs and deflects shock, providing protection from damage. For serious RC racing, a servo saver is strongly recommended.
