- Steel Gear Train Construction — The durable steel gears provide exceptional resistance to wear and mechanical stress, protecting your investment during intensive use and ensuring consistent performance across countless flight hours, even during hardcore 3D flying sessions.
- Aluminium Middle Case for Thermal Management — The aluminium case construction allows superior heat dissipation during extended operation, keeping internal temperatures manageable and maintaining consistent performance even during back-to-back flights or prolonged use.
- Compact Mini-Sized Form Factor — Measuring just 35.0 x 15.0 x 29.2mm and weighing only 29.6g, this servo fits into tight mounting spaces where standard-sized servos simply won't fit, ideal for models with space constraints or weight-critical applications.
- Digital Servo Technology — Digital circuitry provides superior holding torque, faster update rates at 333Hz, and more precise control compared to analogue alternatives, translating to smoother, more responsive flight characteristics.
- 2S LiPo Battery Compatible — The servo operates perfectly on standard 2S LiPo batteries (7.4V nominal), the most common battery format for RC helicopters, eliminating the need for specialised power systems or voltage regulators.
- Soft Start Mode and Sanwa SSR Compatibility — The new Plus ("+") model features innovative Soft Start Mode technology and compatibility with Sanwa SSR radio systems, providing enhanced integration options and smoother power-up sequences.
- Double Ball Bearing Support — The two ball bearings provide smooth, low-friction operation with minimal wear, ensuring your servo maintains consistent performance throughout its operational lifespan.
- Coreless Motor Design — The coreless motor eliminates mechanical dead zones and provides exceptionally smooth control without the jerky movements associated with slotted motor designs, crucial for maintaining flight stability.
- 25-Tooth Output Spline — The industry-standard 25-tooth servo spline ensures broad compatibility with aftermarket servo horns and control linkages, allowing you to customise your setup to match your specific model requirements.
Technical Performance
The Savox SV1250MG+ represents a pinnacle of engineering excellence in the mini servo category. Powered by a high-performance coreless motor, this servo delivers 8kg of torque at 7.4V with a phenomenally fast 0.095-second transit time, making it arguably the fastest mini servo solution for serious RC applications. The servo's dual ball bearing arrangement provides ultra-smooth operation with minimal friction loss, whilst the steel gear train offers remarkable durability against the mechanical stresses inherent in 3D aerobatic flying and precision control scenarios. At just 29.6g with dimensions of 35.0 x 15.0 x 29.2mm, the servo's compact footprint makes it perfect for swashplate assemblies in modern helicopter designs. The aluminium middle case construction is engineered for superior heat dissipation, critical during extended flying sessions where thermal buildup could compromise performance. Operating across a wide temperature range from -10°C to 50°C, the servo performs reliably in both indoor and outdoor environments. The servo operates at 333Hz refresh rate, ensuring rapid command processing and responsive control feedback. At 7.4V, the servo draws 120mA under no-load conditions, with maximum stall current reaching 2000mA when fully loaded. The pulse width range of 800-2200 microseconds provides approximately 154 degrees of maximum travel, with a neutral position set at 1500 microseconds, offering excellent range for sophisticated control applications. Whether you're configuring a competition-grade helicopter or building a high-performance 3D platform, this servo delivers the professional-grade engineering and proven reliability that serious RC pilots demand.
