Overview

The Traxxas Caster blocks (C-Hubs) / steering block set (TRX7532) comprises two pairs of essential suspension components designed for LaTrax RC vehicles. Whether you're maintaining your existing RC car UK setup or building a replacement after wear and tear, these genuine Traxxas spare parts are engineered to provide precise steering geometry and reliable front-end performance. Caster blocks are critical suspension components that connect your RC model's steering system to the suspension and wheels, making them fundamental to how your vehicle handles, steers and responds on the track or trail.

If you're an RC enthusiast in the UK looking for OEM-quality suspension spares, the TRX7532 is an authorised Traxxas part that ensures perfect compatibility with your LaTrax model. These steering blocks maintain the exact geometry your vehicle was designed with, preventing handling issues and uneven tyre wear that can occur when worn or damaged caster blocks are left in place. For anyone serious about maintaining their RC hobby investment, having genuine replacement caster blocks on hand is essential maintenance practice.

RC Model Shop stocks this genuine Traxxas spare part as part of our comprehensive range of RC car maintenance and upgrade components. Whether you're a competitive racer, weekend basher, or casual hobbyist, having quality suspension spares ensures your RC vehicle performs at its best and lasts longer between major rebuilds.

Key Features

  • Genuine Traxxas OEM Component — These caster blocks are manufactured by Traxxas to exact specifications, ensuring perfect fit and compatibility with LaTrax vehicles and guaranteeing the quality standards you expect from an authorised brand spare part.
  • Complete Steering Package — The set includes both caster blocks (C-Hubs) and steering blocks in pairs, providing everything needed to replace worn front-end geometry on both sides of your vehicle simultaneously for balanced handling.
  • Critical Suspension Geometry — Caster blocks determine your vehicle's camber, caster and steering geometry; worn or bent caster blocks cause poor handling, tyre wear issues and inconsistent steering response, making replacement essential for optimal performance.
  • Spare Parts Security — Keep genuine replacement caster blocks in your pit bag for competition events or regular maintenance; having OEM spares ensures you're never left with incompatible or inferior aftermarket components.
  • Easy Maintenance — These suspension spares are straightforward to install for anyone with basic RC mechanical knowledge, making them an ideal DIY maintenance item that extends the life of your RC model.

Technical Performance

The Traxxas Caster blocks (C-Hubs) and steering blocks represent precision-engineered suspension geometry components manufactured to exact tolerances. These parts are critical to front-end suspension alignment and steering response in RC vehicles. When caster blocks become worn, bent, or cracked through normal use or impacts, they compromise your vehicle's handling characteristics, causing problems including uneven tyre wear, steering inconsistency, and reduced cornering performance. The steering block connects the steering linkages to the suspension and wheels, making it essential for responsive and predictable steering input translation. As genuine Traxxas OEM components, these caster blocks are engineered from durable materials designed to withstand the forces of RC off-road use, whether you're bashing through grass, racing on-road circuits, or navigating technical rock crawling terrain. Replacement at the first signs of wear—such as play in the steering, uneven tyre wear patterns, or visible damage—ensures your ready to run RC car or custom build maintains factory-spec performance and handling characteristics. These are not optional upgrades but essential maintenance spares for serious RC hobbyists in the UK who demand reliable, predictable vehicle behaviour.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • What are caster blocks and why do I need replacement ones? — Caster blocks, also called C-hubs, connect your RC vehicle's steering and suspension to the wheels. They determine critical suspension angles including camber and caster. Over time and through use, they wear, crack, or bend, causing poor handling, uneven tyre wear, and steering inconsistency. Replacing them restores your vehicle to factory geometry and performance specifications.
  • Are these compatible with my LaTrax RC vehicle? — Yes, the TRX7532 is a genuine Traxxas OEM spare part designed specifically for LaTrax RC vehicles. LaTrax is Traxxas's value-focused line, and these parts ensure perfect fitment and compatibility without modification.
  • How often should I replace my caster blocks? — Caster blocks typically last through many hours of use, but they should be inspected regularly for cracks, bends, or play in the steering. If you notice your vehicle has developed steering issues, uneven tyre wear, or visible damage to the front suspension, it's time to replace them. Many RC enthusiasts keep spare caster blocks on hand for competition events.
  • Can I use aftermarket caster blocks instead of OEM Traxxas parts? — Whilst some aftermarket options exist, genuine Traxxas OEM parts guarantee perfect fitment, suspension geometry accuracy, and material quality. Using OEM spares ensures your vehicle maintains its designed handling characteristics and prevents potential fitment issues.
  • Do I need tools to install these caster blocks? — Installation requires basic RC mechanical knowledge and tools typically found in any RC enthusiast's workshop, such as hex drivers and possibly a suspension press depending on your vehicle's design. If you're unsure, your local RC hobby shop can assist with installation.
  • What's the difference between caster blocks and steering blocks? — Caster blocks (C-hubs) are the major structural components that hold the wheel and connect the suspension. Steering blocks are smaller components that connect the steering linkages to the caster blocks. Both are included in this set, providing a complete front-end suspension replacement option.
