Whether you're tackling rocky terrain, muddy conditions, or sandy environments, these multi-surface crawler tyres are engineered to deliver the traction and authenticity your RC model demands.

Key Features

  • Licensed BFGoodrich® All-Terrain T/A KO Design — These tyres carry the official BFGoodrich® licence, meaning every detail from the iconic tread pattern to the characteristic sidewall design has been faithfully reproduced at 1/10 scale, guaranteeing authenticity that goes beyond simple imitation.
  • Iconic Late 1990s Scale Appearance — The original BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A KO tyre design from 1999 is instantly recognisable, and these Pro-Line replicas capture that golden era of off-road design perfectly, adding visual impact to your scale build.
  • Exacting Scale Detail — Pro-Line's attention to detail extends to every aspect of these tyres, from the precise tread block geometry to the authentic sidewall markings and proportions, making them visually indistinguishable from their full-size inspiration when mounted on your crawler.
  • Densely Packed Tread Blocks with Multiple Sipes — The revolutionary tread layout features densely packed blocks combined with numerous tread sipes (thin grooves within the tread blocks), which dramatically improve traction across multiple terrain types by increasing the biting edges that grip rocks, mud, dirt and sand.
  • Multi-Surface Traction Capability — Engineered to perform effectively on rock, rocky terrain, mud, sand and mixed conditions, these tyres ensure your rock crawler maintains grip and control regardless of the terrain you encounter during your RC adventures.
  • Front or Rear Wheel Compatibility — Designed to work equally well on either the front or rear axle of your 1/10 scale rock crawler, providing maximum flexibility when building or upgrading your vehicle.
  • G8 Soft Compound — The G8 soft compound tyre material provides excellent traction and grip, particularly beneficial for rock crawling applications where maintaining contact with uneven surfaces is critical.
  • Open Cell Foam Inserts Included — Each pair includes matched open cell foam inserts that ensure proper tyre mounting, maintain structural integrity during aggressive rock crawling, and help absorb impacts from uneven terrain.
  • Made in the USA Since 1982 — Pro-Line's manufacturing heritage spans over four decades of dedicated tyre and wheel production, with every product made to exacting standards in American facilities, ensuring consistent quality and durability.

Technical Performance

These 1.9" Class 1 crawler tyres represent a significant step forward in scale realism and practical performance. The diameter of 4.19 inches (106mm) with a width of 1.45 inches (37mm) ensures proper proportions for 1/10 scale rock crawlers whilst maximising the ground contact patch essential for traction on challenging terrain. The soft G8 compound provides superior grip compared to harder compound alternatives, making these tyres particularly effective for rock crawling applications where maintaining traction on slippery or uneven surfaces directly impacts your ability to navigate technical sections. The open cell foam inserts included in the package absorb impacts and maintain tyre shape under compression, which is especially important when climbing over large rocks or navigating deep ruts. Pro-Line's manufacturing pedigree, with facilities operating continuously since 1982, ensures that material consistency, tread moulding precision and insert quality meet the demanding requirements of serious RC crawlers. The meticulously replicated All-Terrain T/A KO tread pattern isn't merely cosmetic — the densely packed tread blocks and multiple sipes create a significantly larger number of biting edges compared to simpler tread patterns, which translates directly to improved grip and control when tackling varied terrain types encountered during typical rock crawling sessions.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Are these tyres suitable for all 1/10 scale rock crawlers in the UK? — Yes, these 1.9" tyres are designed specifically for 1/10 scale rock crawling vehicles and fit standard 1.9" rock crawling wheels. They work equally well as front or rear tyres, giving you complete flexibility in how you configure your crawler. However, you should verify that your specific vehicle uses 1.9" wheels before ordering.
  • What makes the G8 soft compound better than harder tyre compounds? — The G8 soft compound provides significantly better grip and traction, particularly important for rock crawling where maintaining contact with irregular, slippery rock surfaces is essential. Softer compounds conform more readily to uneven terrain, creating a larger contact patch and more biting edges for improved grip. The trade-off is slightly faster wear compared to harder compounds, but for rock crawling applications where traction is paramount, the performance benefits far outweigh the slightly accelerated wear.
  • Why do these tyres include foam inserts? — The open cell foam inserts serve multiple critical functions: they help the tyres maintain their structural shape during mounting and use, they absorb impacts when climbing over rocks or landing from jumps, and they prevent the tyre from rolling off the wheel during aggressive cornering or extreme compression. These inserts are specifically formulated for crawler applications and should always be used.
  • How do these Pro-Line BFG tyres compare to other 1.9" crawler tyres? — The key differentiators are the official BFGoodrich® licence and the meticulous replication of the authentic All-Terrain T/A KO design, making these the most visually authentic choice for scale-focused builders. Additionally, Pro-Line's four-decade manufacturing heritage ensures consistency in tyre quality and performance. The densely packed tread pattern with multiple sipes delivers genuine traction improvements compared to simpler alternatives, and the soft G8 compound is specifically optimised for rock crawling rather than being a generic crawler compound.
  • Can I use these tyres on rocks, mud and sand or are they specialised for one terrain? — These multi-surface crawler tyres are specifically engineered to perform effectively on rocks, rocky terrain, muddy conditions and sandy surfaces. The dense tread blocks and multiple sipes create numerous biting edges that adapt to different terrain textures, making these versatile tyres suitable for varied rock crawling environments throughout the UK.
  • Do these tyres require any special mounting equipment? — No special equipment is required beyond standard tyre mounting tools. The open cell foam inserts come pre-assembled, and the tyres mount to standard 1.9" rock crawler wheels using conventional mounting methods. The soft G8 compound is relatively easy to mount compared to harder compounds.
  • What is the difference between Class 1 and other crawler tyre classifications? — Class 1 designates the specific scale proportion and sizing standard for 1/10 scale rock crawlers. The 1.9" measurement refers to wheel diameter compatibility, and the Class 1 designation ensures proper proportions and fit for serious scale rock crawling builds.
