Overview

The Corally Attack Foam Tyres 1/10 GP Touring 37 Shore 30mm Rear Carbon Rims represent a premium choice for serious RC touring car enthusiasts in the UK. These competition-grade foam tyres are specifically engineered to deliver exceptional grip across a wide variety of track conditions whilst maintaining impressively low tyre wear during extended racing sessions. Whether you're competing at your local RC track or preparing for a regional championship, these tyres offer the performance characteristics that discerning RC car UK competitors demand. The combination of Italian engineering expertise and advanced foam rubber compound technology makes these tyres a standout option for anyone serious about touring car racing.

Mounted on lightweight carbon rims, the Attack foam tyres come ready to install on your 1/10 GP touring car. The 37-degree Shore hardness is specifically calibrated for competition-level racing, offering the sweet spot between durability and ultimate grip. If you're running a brushless RC touring car or any other competitive setup, having the right tyre choice can be the difference between victory and disappointment. These tyres are designed for drivers who understand that tyre selection is a critical component of race performance, not an afterthought.

For RC enthusiasts across the UK seeking ready-to-race solutions, the Attack foam tyres deliver the consistency and reliability that comes from Team Corally's reputation for quality. The pre-mounted configuration means less setup time and more time on the track, making these an excellent choice for weekend racers and dedicated competitors alike.

Key Features

  • Competition-Grade Foam Rubber Compound — The Attack tyres utilise a carefully formulated foam rubber compound designed specifically for racing applications, delivering superior grip characteristics whilst resisting excessive wear during competitive sessions. This material science approach ensures your investment in quality tyres translates directly to performance gains on the track.
  • 37-Degree Shore Hardness Rating — The 37 Shore specification places these tyres in the softer range, optimising grip across various track surfaces and temperature conditions. This hardness level is particularly effective for general track conditions and is favoured by many GP touring car racers who need consistent performance without constant tyre pressure adjustments.
  • Pre-Mounted on Carbon Rims — The tyres arrive glued and ready to install directly onto your 1/10 touring car, eliminating the time-consuming process of mounting and gluing foam tyres yourself. This convenience factor is invaluable for drivers who want to spend more time developing their skills and less time in tyre preparation.
  • Lightweight Carbon Rim Construction — The carbon fibre rim material reduces unsprung weight, which directly improves your car's handling characteristics, acceleration, and braking performance. Carbon rims also provide excellent durability and maintain their integrity through multiple races without warping or bending.
  • 30mm Width Specification — At 30mm wide, these rear tyres are sized appropriately for 1/10 GP touring cars, providing the footprint necessary for optimal traction and stability through corners. This width is standard for rear application on competitive touring cars and ensures compatibility with properly configured chassis setups.
  • 0mm Offset Rim Configuration — The zero offset design maintains perfect geometry alignment with your car's suspension and chassis, ensuring predictable handling characteristics and preventing suspension binding during aggressive cornering.
  • 66mm Tyre Diameter — The overall diameter is precisely engineered to maintain correct ride height and gear ratio effectiveness, ensuring your car's suspension geometry remains optimal throughout the tyre's service life.
  • 12mm Hex Adapter Fitting — These tyres utilise the industry-standard 12mm hex mounting system, ensuring compatibility with the vast majority of 1/10 GP touring cars currently in use. This universal compatibility means you can upgrade or replace tyres without requiring additional adapters or modifications.
  • Italian Manufacturing Heritage — Created by Team Corally, a brand synonymous with quality RC products, these tyres benefit from rigorous quality control and extensive testing to ensure consistency across every set you purchase.
  • Excellent Tyre Longevity — The low wear characteristics of the Attack compound mean your investment lasts longer, reducing the frequency of tyre replacements and providing better overall value for competitive drivers.

Technical Performance

The Corally Attack Foam Tyres represent the pinnacle of touring car tyre technology for 1/10 scale racing. The 37 Shore hardness rating provides an excellent balance between grip and durability, making these tyres suitable for various track conditions from indoor carpet circuits to outdoor asphalt venues. The foam rubber compound has been specifically engineered to maintain consistent performance throughout a race day, resisting the degradation that can occur with lower-quality foam materials. The carbon rim construction not only reduces weight but also ensures structural integrity through the stresses of competitive racing. Each tyre measures 66mm in diameter with a 30mm width, delivering the contact patch necessary for modern GP touring car chassis designs. The pre-mounted and glued configuration means these tyres arrive ready for immediate installation, with the 12mm hex fitting ensuring seamless integration into your existing setup. The zero offset geometry maintains perfect wheel alignment, crucial for the precise handling characteristics required in competitive touring car racing. Whether you're piloting a brushless RC touring car or any other competitive platform, these tyres provide the performance foundation that serious racers demand. The Italian engineering ensures that every aspect of the tyre, from the compound formulation to the rim construction, meets exacting standards.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Are these tyres suitable for competitive 1/10 GP touring car racing? — Yes, absolutely. The 37 Shore hardness rating and competition-grade foam compound make these tyres specifically designed for racing applications. Team Corally engineered the Attack foam tyres with experienced racers in mind, and the low wear characteristics combined with excellent grip make them an outstanding choice for drivers competing at local and regional levels. If you're running a brushless RC touring car or any other competitive setup, these provide the performance foundation you need.
  • What is the difference between 37 Shore and other hardness ratings? — The 37 Shore specification sits at the softer end of touring car tyre options, providing maximum grip across varied track conditions. Softer compounds like 37 Shore typically offer superior traction but may wear slightly faster under extreme conditions. Harder compounds (like 40 Shore) last longer but may lack grip on cooler track surfaces. The 37 Shore represents an excellent general-purpose option for most competitive racers who want a balanced performer.
  • Are these tyres pre-glued and ready to use immediately? — Yes, the Attack foam tyres arrive mounted and glued on carbon rims, ready to install directly onto your car using the 12mm hex fitment. This eliminates the time-consuming process of gluing foam tyres yourself and allows you to get on the track quickly without technical preparation delays.
  • What vehicles do these tyres fit? — These are designed as rear tyres for 1/10 GP touring cars. The 30mm width and 66mm diameter are standard specifications for rear application on most competitive touring car chassis. The 12mm hex fitting ensures compatibility with virtually all 1/10 touring cars currently in production and racing use across the UK.
  • Will these work with my existing RC car wheels? — These come pre-mounted on carbon rims, so you're replacing your entire wheel assembly. The 12mm hex fitting is universal for 1/10 touring cars, making installation straightforward. If your car uses standard 12mm hex hubs, these will fit perfectly without modifications.
  • How long do foam tyres typically last? — The Attack foam compound is engineered for low wear characteristics, meaning your investment lasts through multiple racing sessions and weekends before requiring replacement. Actual lifespan depends on driving style, track surface, and frequency of use, but quality foam tyres from respected manufacturers like Corally consistently outlast budget alternatives.
  • Can beginners use competition-grade tyres like these? — Whilst these are competition-spec tyres, they're not exclusively for advanced racers. Beginners will benefit from the superior grip and consistent performance, which can actually help improve learning as the tyres respond predictably to driver inputs. However, beginners might also consider that learning car setup and driving technique becomes easier with stable, predictable tyres.
