Overview

The Team Corally Attack Foam Tyres represent a premium choice for 1/12 scale circuit racing enthusiasts across the UK. These competition-grade rear tyres are purpose-built for drivers who demand consistent grip and minimal wear during intense track sessions. Whether you're preparing for club championships or weekly practice at your local RC track, these magenta foam compound tyres deliver the performance characteristics that serious 1/12 pan car racers expect. Corally's reputation for engineering excellence means you're investing in tyres that have been developed and refined through countless hours of competitive testing.

What sets the Attack foam tyres apart is their versatility across different track conditions combined with their durability. The 32 shore hardness rating places these tyres in the racing category, offering a balance between grip and longevity that makes them suitable for both outdoor clay tracks and indoor carpet circuits. Pre-mounted on lightweight carbon rims, this complete ready-to-fit solution eliminates the need for separate tyre mounting and gluing, saving you valuable preparation time before racing. These are made in Italy to exacting standards, ensuring consistency and quality across every set.

RC car enthusiasts in the UK will appreciate that Corally supplies only the finest materials and construction techniques to their Attack range. The foam rubber compound has been specifically engineered to provide excellent grip under various track conditions, making these tyres a trusted choice among competitive 1/12 pan car drivers. With a focus on low tyre wear, you'll find these compounds remain competitive for longer, reducing your overall consumables costs while maintaining the performance edge you need on race day.

Key Features

  • Competition-Grade Foam Compound — The 32 shore hardness rating delivers racing-level performance with optimal grip characteristics. This hardness level is specifically chosen for drivers competing in circuit racing events, offering the right balance between immediate grip and consistent lap times throughout the race.
  • Pre-Mounted Carbon Rims — These rear tyres come pre-mounted and glued on lightweight carbon rims, eliminating the time-consuming tyre mounting and gluing process. This means you can unbox them and fit them directly to your 1/12 pan car without additional preparation, allowing you to spend more time driving and less time in the pit area.
  • Excellent Grip Across Track Conditions — The Attack foam formula has been engineered to perform well under various track surfaces, whether you race on outdoor clay, indoor carpet, or hybrid layouts. This versatility means a single set of tyres can deliver consistent performance across different venues and conditions.
  • Minimal Tyre Wear — Unlike harder compounds that may lack grip or softer compounds that wear quickly, the Attack formula strikes an excellent balance. You'll achieve competitive lap times whilst enjoying extended tyre life, making these an economical choice for frequent racers who want to maximise the value from every set.
  • 1/12 Scale Pan Car Specific Design — These tyres are engineered specifically for 1/12 scale pan cars with a tyre diameter of 48mm and width of 38.5mm. This precision sizing ensures optimal fitment, handling characteristics and performance on your pan car chassis.
  • Japanese Magenta Compound Technology — The magenta colour designation indicates a specific compound formulation developed using Japanese tyre manufacturing expertise. This represents Corally's commitment to sourcing and implementing proven tyre technologies from recognised leaders in the RC tyre industry.
  • Made in Italy Craftsmanship — Team Corally manufactures these tyres in Italy, bringing European engineering precision and quality control to every set. Italian manufacturing traditions ensure attention to detail and consistency in production standards.

Technical Performance

The Attack foam tyres represent serious engineering designed specifically for 1/12 scale pan car circuit racing. With a tyre diameter of 48 millimetres and width of 38.5 millimetres, these dimensions are precisely calculated to work optimally with standard 1/12 pan car chassis geometries. The 32 shore hardness rating places them firmly in the competition racing category, offering sufficient grip for achieving excellent corner speeds whilst maintaining durability through multiple race sessions. The foam rubber compound used in the Attack range has been specifically formulated to deliver excellent traction characteristics across the varied conditions found on UK racing circuits, whether indoors on carpet or outdoors on clay tracks. The pre-mounted configuration on carbon rims eliminates variables that can affect tyre performance, ensuring consistent fitment and balance from the moment you unbox them. Carbon rims offer superior strength-to-weight ratio compared to alternative materials, contributing to more responsive handling and reduced rotational mass. These are racing tyres designed for drivers who understand that tyre choice can be the difference between pole position and the second row of the grid.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Are these Attack foam tyres suitable for competitive 1/12 pan car racing? — Yes, absolutely. The 32 shore hardness rating places these tyres in the competition racing category, making them ideal for drivers competing in club championships and organised racing events. The low tyre wear combined with excellent grip makes them a popular choice among serious 1/12 racers across the UK.
  • Do I need to mount and glue these tyres myself? — No, one of the key advantages of this product is that the tyres come pre-mounted and pre-glued on the carbon rims. You can unbox them and fit them directly to your 1/12 pan car without any additional tyre mounting work, saving valuable preparation time.
  • What makes foam compound tyres better than rubber compound tyres? — Foam compounds, like the Attack formula, offer superior grip characteristics and consistency compared to traditional rubber compounds. The cellular structure of foam allows for better track grip whilst maintaining good durability. The Attack foam formula specifically provides excellent performance across various track conditions, making it versatile for different venues.
  • Will these tyres fit my 1/12 scale pan car? — These are specifically designed for 1/12 scale pan cars and feature a diameter of 48mm with a width of 38.5mm. However, you should verify compatibility with your specific chassis model. These are rear tyres, so you'll also need appropriate front tyres. Check your chassis documentation or contact our team if you're unsure about fitment.
  • How long do these tyres typically last before needing replacement? — The Attack foam compound is engineered for minimal tyre wear, meaning you'll enjoy extended usable life compared to softer compounds. Actual lifespan depends on track surface, driving style and intensity of use. Most competitive racers find they remain competitive through multiple race weekends before requiring replacement.
  • Are these tyres better on indoor or outdoor tracks? — The Attack foam formula delivers excellent grip across various track conditions, performing well on both indoor carpet circuits and outdoor clay tracks. This versatility is one of the key selling points, allowing you to use the same tyre compound at different venues without compromising performance.
  • What is the difference between 32 shore and other hardness ratings? — Shore hardness indicates tyre compound softness, with lower numbers representing softer, grippier compounds and higher numbers representing harder, more durable compounds. The 32 shore rating offers an excellent balance, providing racing-level grip whilst maintaining reasonable durability through multiple use sessions.
