Overview

The Axial M4 x 30mm Flat Head Screw (8) Z-AXI235192 is an essential replacement and upgrade component for serious RC enthusiasts in the UK who demand genuine OEM parts for their Axial rock crawlers and scale models. These precision-engineered fasteners are specifically designed to work seamlessly with Axial's premium 1/6 scale vehicles, ensuring reliable performance and authentic restoration capabilities. Whether you're maintaining your Axial SCX6 Jeep JLU Wrangler or Trail Honcho, these countersunk machine screws provide the exact fitment and quality that discerning RC modellers expect when building or repairing their rigs.

As an authorised Axial dealer, RC Model Shop stocks genuine original equipment manufacturer (OEM) screws that maintain the structural integrity and appearance of your rock crawler. These flat head screws are engineered to sit flush with components, delivering a professional finish whilst maintaining robust mechanical strength. For anyone serious about keeping their RC crawler in top condition, having a supply of genuine replacement fasteners is essential—particularly for 1/6 scale rock crawlers that undergo demanding off-road use.

The pack contains eight individual M4 x 30mm countersunk screws in black, providing excellent value for spares and customisation projects. Whether you're upgrading components, repairing damage from aggressive driving, or building a custom configuration on your SCX6 platform, these versatile fasteners deliver the reliability that has made Axial a leader in premium RC rock crawling vehicles across the UK and internationally.

Key Features

  • M4 x 30mm Specification — These screws are precisely dimensioned at M4 diameter with 30mm length, ensuring perfect compatibility with Axial SCX6 components and matched assemblies without modification or forcing.
  • Countersunk Flat Head Design — The countersunk head type sits completely flush with mounting surfaces, creating a clean, professional appearance whilst preventing snags and maintaining the aerodynamic profile of your rock crawler chassis.
  • Hex Socket Driver — Each screw features a hex socket driver that accepts standard hex tools, providing secure engagement without risk of bit slippage or damage to the screw head during installation and removal.
  • Machine Thread Construction — These are precision machine threaded screws rather than wood or sheet metal variants, meaning they work reliably in threaded inserts and tapped holes common in die-cast and milled Axial components.
  • Black Finish — The black coating provides corrosion resistance and a unified appearance across your RC crawler's assembly, maintaining aesthetic consistency with factory components and other Axial fasteners.
  • Genuine OEM Quality — As original Axial equipment, these screws meet the exact engineering specifications and quality standards required for reliable performance in demanding rock crawling scenarios on UK terrain.
  • Eight-Pack Quantity — The set provides eight individual screws, offering excellent value for maintaining spares, building custom configurations, or stocking your RC toolkit with genuine replacement parts.

Technical Performance

These M4 x 30mm flat head screws represent the precision engineering standard that Axial applies across its 1/6 scale SCX6 platform vehicles. The countersunk design ensures that screws integrate seamlessly into the chassis architecture without creating protrusions that could catch terrain or compromise the model's undercarriage clearance during aggressive rock crawling. The hex socket driver provides excellent torque transfer without risk of stripping—a critical consideration when working with cast aluminium components that require firm fastening without over-tightening. The machine thread profile is optimised for use with threaded inserts or pre-tapped holes in Axial's precision-milled and cast components, ensuring repeatable assembly and disassembly without thread degradation. Black finish coating provides excellent corrosion resistance, important for UK modellers who operate their rigs in wet and muddy conditions typical of British off-road terrain. The genuine OEM specification means these screws are engineered to the exact tolerances required for Axial's SCX6 Jeep JLU Wrangler and Trail Honcho platforms, guaranteeing compatibility and reliability with no guesswork or compromise.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Are these genuine Axial original equipment screws? — Yes, the Z-AXI235192 is an official Axial OEM component. These are genuine factory specification fasteners, not third-party alternatives, ensuring perfect fitment and reliability with your SCX6 rock crawler.
  • What makes M4 x 30mm the right size for my Axial crawler? — The M4 diameter and 30mm length are specifically engineered for key assembly points on Axial's 1/6 scale SCX6 platform. Using the correct size ensures secure fastening without stripping threads or requiring shims, particularly important when assembling cast aluminium and milled components.
  • Can I use these screws to repair my damaged Axial SCX6? — Absolutely. These are ideal replacement fasteners for repairing strip-threaded holes, upgrading to fresh hardware after wear, or replacing damaged screws from impacts and hard driving. Having genuine OEM screws on hand is essential maintenance for serious rock crawling enthusiasts in the UK.
  • What is the difference between flat head and cap head screws? — Flat head (countersunk) screws sit flush with the mounting surface, creating a clean appearance and preventing snagging. Cap head screws protrude above the surface and are typically used where maximum holding power is needed rather than aesthetics. For Axial components, flat head screws are specified for chassis assembly where a professional finish is important.
  • How many screws do I get in this pack? — The pack contains eight individual M4 x 30mm countersunk screws, providing excellent value and enough spares for multiple assembly projects or to stock your maintenance kit.
  • Are these the correct screws for the SCX6 Jeep Wrangler? — Yes, these M4 x 30mm flat head screws are officially compatible with both the Axial SCX6 Jeep JLU Wrangler and Trail Honcho models across all colour variants—Green, Silver, Red, and Sand editions.
