Overview

The ARRMA Lower Arm Adjustment Block Set Z-ARA320658 is an essential tuning component for serious RC enthusiasts who demand precision control over their vehicle's suspension geometry. This comprehensive adjustment block set offers unparalleled flexibility in fine-tuning the front and rear lower suspension of your ARRMA RC car, making it an invaluable upgrade for anyone looking to optimise handling characteristics across different track conditions and driving styles. Whether you're a competitive racer looking to extract every tenth of a second from your lap times, or an experienced basher seeking to dial in the perfect setup for your RC buggy, this adjustment block set provides the tools you need to achieve professional-level suspension tuning.

Designed specifically for use with ARRMA's adjustable suspension mounting systems, this block set unlocks a world of tuning possibilities that would otherwise be locked down by fixed geometry. The ability to make precise adjustments in half-degree increments means you can find the sweet spot for toe-in, roll centre, anti-squat and kick-up settings that suit your particular driving technique and track layout. This level of customisation is what separates competitive RC setups from standard builds, and it's why serious RC car UK hobbyists rely on quality adjustment components like this.

Each geometry configuration is manufactured with meticulous precision to ensure smooth, reliable operation during intense RC action. The robust composite material construction means these blocks will withstand repeated adjustment and harsh racing conditions without degradation, giving you confidence that your suspension tuning will remain stable and consistent throughout your driving sessions.

Key Features

  • Seven Different Geometry Configurations — The set includes seven distinct geometric variations, each supplied in quantities of eight identical blocks, allowing you to create 56 total adjustment combinations across your suspension system. This extensive range of options means you can make fine adjustments to toe angle, roll centre height, anti-squat characteristics and kick-up geometry in half-degree increments, giving you granular control over how your RC buggy handles in different conditions.
  • Tough Composite Material Construction — These adjustment blocks are manufactured from durable composite material specifically chosen for its ability to withstand the demands of extreme RC racing and bashing activities. The material resists wear from repeated installation and removal, maintains dimensional stability under load, and won't degrade even with intensive use, ensuring your investment provides years of reliable service.
  • Precision Manufactured for Smooth Operation — Every block is manufactured to exact tolerances using professional-grade production methods, ensuring perfect fit and smooth suspension operation across all driving conditions. This precision engineering means adjustments are predictable and repeatable, allowing you to make incremental setup changes and accurately assess their impact on handling behaviour.
  • Half-Degree Adjustment Increments — Unlike broader adjustment systems that only allow large geometric changes, these blocks enable adjustment in half-degree steps, providing the fine-tuning capability that separates a good setup from a winning setup. This level of precision is essential for competitive racing where even tiny geometry changes can have measurable effects on grip and handling.
  • Comprehensive 56-Block Set — With eight blocks of each geometry type included, you have sufficient quantity to tune both front and rear suspension independently, and to keep spare blocks on hand for different track configurations. This abundance ensures you'll never be limited in your tuning options during race meetings or practice sessions.

Technical Performance

The ARRMA Lower Arm Adjustment Block Set represents the pinnacle of suspension tuning technology for 1/8 scale RC buggies and trucks. The seven distinct geometry configurations work in conjunction with ARRMA's aluminium adjustable suspension mounting systems to provide unmatched versatility in chassis geometry tuning. By varying the position of the lower arm mounting points in half-degree increments, drivers can independently adjust toe-in angle, alter the roll centre height to change how the chassis leans during cornering, modify anti-squat characteristics to control weight transfer under acceleration, and adjust kick-up geometry to fine-tune how the suspension responds to kerbs and obstacles. The composite material construction provides an ideal balance between durability and consistency, resisting the deformation that can occur with softer materials while remaining cost-effective compared to full aluminium solutions. The precision manufacturing process ensures that each block maintains exact dimensional consistency, so adjustments are predictable and repeatable throughout a race meeting or practice day. This level of engineering is what makes ARRMA vehicles competitive at the highest levels of RC motorsport in the UK and internationally.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Which ARRMA vehicles are compatible with the Lower Arm Adjustment Block Set Z-ARA320658? — This adjustment block set is confirmed compatible with the ARRMA 1/8 TLR Tuned TYPHON 6S 4WD BLX Buggy RTR. The blocks are designed for use with TLR Racing adjustable suspension mounts, so verify your vehicle features compatible mounting systems before purchasing. Contact our team if you're unsure whether your specific ARRMA model will work with this tuning set.
  • What suspension geometry adjustments can I make with these blocks? — The seven different geometry configurations allow you to adjust toe angle, roll centre height, anti-squat characteristics and kick-up geometry in half-degree increments. This means you can fine-tune exactly how your suspension responds to cornering forces, acceleration, braking and obstacles, giving you complete control over your vehicle's handling characteristics.
  • Do these blocks fit all ARRMA lower suspension mounts? — No, these blocks are specifically designed for use with ARRMA's adjustable suspension mounting systems (models ARA320652, ARA320653, ARA320655 and ARA320656). They will not retrofit to non-adjustable or fixed suspension designs. Ensure your vehicle has the compatible mounting system before ordering this tuning set.
  • How many adjustment blocks are included, and will that be enough? — The set includes 56 total adjustment blocks — eight of each of the seven different geometry configurations. This quantity is sufficient to tune both the front and rear suspension independently with multiple geometry options available, and to maintain spare blocks for experimenting with different track setups or for backup use.
  • What material are these adjustment blocks made from? — The blocks are manufactured from tough composite material chosen for its durability under demanding RC racing conditions. The composite material resists wear from repeated installation and removal, maintains its dimensional stability under suspension load, and won't degrade from exposure to dirt, moisture or oil commonly encountered in RC racing environments.
  • Can I use these blocks to improve my RC buggy's handling for UK track racing? — Absolutely. The ability to make half-degree adjustments to suspension geometry is essential for optimising performance on UK indoor tracks and outdoor circuit racing venues. By adjusting toe, roll centre, anti-squat and kick-up settings, you can customise your vehicle's handling to suit specific track characteristics and your personal driving style, potentially improving lap times and consistency significantly.
