Key Features
- Strong and Durable Spring Steel Construction — These shock springs are manufactured from premium spring steel that resists fatigue and deformation, ensuring consistent performance over hundreds of hours of running, whether you're tackling rough terrain or racing on smooth tracks.
- Precision Manufactured for Fast and Easy Fit — Each spring is manufactured to exact tolerances, guaranteeing a perfect fit onto your ARRMA shock absorber without modification, shimming, or adjustment, saving you time during setup and maintenance.
- Genuine ARRMA Component — As factory-authorised replacement parts, these springs maintain the original performance characteristics and handling balance of your RC truck, ensuring you get the same dynamics as when your vehicle left the factory.
- 70mm Optimised Length — The 70mm length is specifically engineered for ARRMA 1/10 scale suspension geometry, providing the correct ride height and spring travel for these models across multiple driving conditions.
- 1.06N/mm Spring Rate — The spring rate of 1.06N/mm (6.05lbf/in) is calibrated to work in harmony with ARRMA's suspension design, delivering balanced handling characteristics that work well for both racing and recreational driving.
- Pack of Two Springs — Each pack includes two shock springs, which is the typical requirement for most RC trucks that have two shock absorbers requiring springs (front and rear, or left and right).
Technical Performance
The ARRMA Shock Springs 70mm 1.06N/mm (6.05lbf/in) represent a crucial component in your RC vehicle's suspension system, directly influencing ride height, handling response, and overall performance across varied terrain. The spring rate of 1.06N/mm is a medium-range spring specification that balances responsiveness with control—providing enough compliance to absorb impacts and rough ground, whilst maintaining sufficient stiffness to support the vehicle's weight and resist bottoming out during aggressive driving or jumping. For brushless RC trucks like the SENTON 223S 4x4 and VORTEKS models, these springs work in conjunction with your shock absorbers and damping fluid to create a complete suspension package. The 70mm length is precisely engineered for ARRMA's suspension geometry, ensuring correct mounting and optimal shock travel. Spring steel is the industry standard for RC shock springs because of its fatigue resistance—these springs will maintain their original characteristics across thousands of compression cycles without permanent deformation. Whether you're experiencing worn springs from extended use, requiring replacements after a crash, or looking to experiment with different spring rates for tuning purposes, genuine ARRMA springs like these ensure compatibility and performance reliability. The precision manufacturing process means minimal variance between springs in the pack, ensuring matched performance on both the front and rear suspension of your RC car.

Frequently Asked Questions
- Which ARRMA RC models are these shock springs compatible with? — These 70mm 1.06N/mm shock springs are compatible with the ARRMA 1/10 FURY 223S DSC 2WD Short Course Truck, ARRMA 1/10 SENTON 223S DSC 4x4 Short Course Truck, ARRMA 1/10 VORTEKS 223S 4x4 Stadium Truck, ARRMA 1/10 VORTEKS 3S 4x4 Stadium Truck, and ARRMA 1/10 VORTEKS BOOST 2WD Stadium Truck. Check the fitment list on the product page to confirm your specific model is supported.
- When should I replace my RC shock springs? — You should consider replacing shock springs if you notice reduced ride height, a softer or wallowy feel in handling, visible damage or deformation on the springs, or if your springs have been in service for extended periods with regular use. Springs are a wear item and will gradually lose their original characteristics over time.
- Do these springs come as a matched pair? — Yes, these shock springs are supplied as a pair of two springs, which is ideal for replacing both springs in a two-shock suspension system. Both springs in the pack are precision-manufactured to identical specifications for consistent performance.
- What is the difference between 1.06N/mm and other spring rates? — The spring rate (measured in Newtons per millimetre) determines how much resistance the spring provides to compression. A 1.06N/mm rate is a moderate spring—softer rates (like 0.8N/mm) provide a smoother, more compliant ride, whilst stiffer rates (like 1.3N/mm) provide more support and resistance to bottoming out. Your choice of spring rate affects handling balance, ride height, and how your RC truck responds to bumps and terrain.
- Are these suitable for both racing and casual bashing? — The 1.06N/mm spring rate is a balanced specification that works well for both purposes. It provides enough compliance for recreational driving over varied terrain, whilst maintaining sufficient stiffness for controlled handling during competitive racing on smooth tracks.
- Do I need special tools to fit these springs? — No special tools are required. The springs fit directly onto your shock absorber components. You may need a basic RC toolkit for shock disassembly and reassembly, which typically includes hex wrenches and possibly a spring tool, but these springs themselves are straightforward to install.
