Overview

The ARRMA Dogbone 107mm (2) driveshaft set represents essential replacement parts for serious RC enthusiasts running ARRMA's 1/7 scale models. Whether you're a competitive racer or a weekend basher, driveshafts are amongst the most critical drivetrain components in any RC car UK setup, transmitting power from your transmission directly to the wheels whilst handling the extreme stresses of acceleration, cornering and impact. These precision-engineered dogbones are specifically designed to deliver the durability and reliability that ARRMA vehicles demand, making them an ideal choice for anyone looking to maintain peak performance or upgrade to more robust components.

This pack includes two complete 107mm dogbone driveshafts, which is the standard fitment for the ARRMA 1/7 MOJAVE 6S range, including the full-featured RTR brushless models and roller chassis variants. If you've experienced driveshaft failure during intense driving sessions, or simply want to keep spare parts on hand for your RC off-road truck, these are genuine OEM replacements that meet ARRMA's exacting quality standards. The 107mm length positions these shafts perfectly for the MOJAVE platform, ensuring correct geometry and driveline angles for optimal handling and minimal wear on associated components.

ARRMA's reputation for building tough, high-performance RC vehicles extends to every component, and these dogbones are no exception. Manufactured to exacting tolerances and utilising premium materials, they represent the kind of investment that serious RC car UK enthusiasts make to keep their machines running at peak efficiency. With 5-star customer ratings from ARRMA's community, these driveshafts have proven themselves in the field amongst experienced RC drivers.

Key Features

  • Tough Steel Construction — These dogbones are manufactured from hardened steel with black oxide coating, providing exceptional strength and corrosion resistance that ensures long-lasting durability even under the most demanding driving conditions and in varied weather environments typical of UK RC racing and bashing.
  • Precision Manufactured Pins — The dogbone pins are precision-engineered to exact specifications, delivering smooth operation in all driving conditions and minimising play within the driveline, which directly translates to better power delivery and more responsive handling characteristics.
  • Low Wear Properties — The material composition and manufacturing process ensure minimal wear during operation, meaning your drive cups, outdrive components and transmission will experience reduced stress and have extended service life between maintenance intervals.
  • 107mm Length — Precisely measured at 107mm between the centreline of the pins, these dogbones provide correct driveline geometry for all MOJAVE 6S variants, ensuring proper suspension articulation and preventing binding or excessive angles that could cause premature failure.
  • OEM ARRMA Component — As genuine ARRMA parts, these dogbones are engineered to work perfectly with all associated MOJAVE 6S drivetrain components, guaranteeing fitment and compatibility without modification or adjustment.
  • Pack of Two — With two driveshafts included, you have a complete replacement set for front or rear, or spare parts to keep in your pit box for rapid swaps during extended driving sessions.

Technical Performance

These 107mm dogbone driveshafts represent genuine engineering optimisation for the ARRMA 1/7 MOJAVE 6S platform. Manufactured from 4140 hardened steel, this material selection provides the ideal balance between strength, weight and durability that modern high-performance RC vehicles require. The black oxide coating offers additional corrosion protection, ensuring these components maintain their structural integrity whether you're driving in dry conditions or tackling muddy terrain common throughout UK RC racing venues. The precision-manufactured pins eliminate the slop and play that can develop in lesser-quality driveshafts, maintaining tight tolerances that preserve power transfer efficiency and prevent the vibration and noise that accompany worn drivetrain components. These shafts are specifically engineered for the MOJAVE 6S platform, fitting both the standard RTR brushless models and the EXB variant, ensuring you have the correct geometry for proper suspension articulation and driveline angles. The 107mm length has been calculated to provide optimal offset within the MOJAVE 6S chassis, working in harmony with the transmission, drive cups and outdrive components to deliver smooth, reliable power delivery across all driving situations.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • What vehicles do these ARRMA dogbones fit? — These 107mm dogbones are designed as standard parts for the ARRMA 1/7 MOJAVE 6S range, including the ARA106058 RTR Brushless model, the ARA7604V2 RTR Brushless variant, and the ARA7204 EXB Brushless roller chassis, ensuring perfect fitment across the entire MOJAVE 6S family.
  • Why would I need replacement dogbones for my RC car? — Dogbones are high-stress drivetrain components that transmit all engine power to the wheels whilst absorbing shock loads from bumps, landings and acceleration. After extended use or aggressive driving, they can bend, crack or wear excessively, reducing efficiency and potentially causing complete driveline failure during critical moments of a race or bashing session.
  • Are these dogbones made from quality materials? — Yes, these ARRMA dogbones are manufactured from 4140 hardened steel with black oxide coating, providing exceptional strength and corrosion resistance. The precision-manufactured pins ensure smooth operation in all conditions, making them significantly more durable than plastic alternatives or poorly engineered replacement parts.
  • Can I use these on other ARRMA models? — These 107mm dogbones are specifically engineered for the ARRMA 1/7 MOJAVE 6S platform. Other ARRMA models may use different driveshaft lengths (such as the 94mm CVD driveshafts for smaller models or 109mm options for other platforms), so always verify your model's requirements before ordering.
  • What is the difference between dogbones and CVD driveshafts? — Dogbones consist of steel shafts with pins at each end that connect to drive cups, whilst CVD (Constant Velocity) driveshafts use internal joints to accommodate suspension movement. The MOJAVE 6S platform uses the dogbone system, which provides excellent performance characteristics for this vehicle class and driving style.
  • How often should I replace my driveshafts? — Replacement intervals depend on driving style and conditions. Casual drivers may see several seasons of use, whilst competitive drivers or those engaging in intense bashing may need replacements more frequently. Always inspect your dogbones regularly for bends, cracks or excessive play before each driving session.
