Overview

The ARRMA Steel Turnbuckle M6x130mm (Black) (2) is an essential replacement part for owners of high-performance RC cars and trucks across the UK. These precision-engineered steel turnbuckles are designed to maintain the steering geometry and suspension tuning on your brushless RC vehicle, ensuring consistent handling and performance whether you're bashing on the track or competing at the weekend. As a dedicated RC enthusiast in the UK, you'll appreciate that quality replacement parts are crucial to keeping your RC car running at its best, and these turnbuckles are manufactured to the exacting standards ARRMA is known for.

Turnbuckles are fundamental suspension adjustment components found on modern RC cars and trucks. They allow you to fine-tune your steering toe-in and suspension geometry with precision, which directly impacts how your RC model handles through corners and over rough terrain. The M6x130mm specification makes these turnbuckles compatible with a range of ARRMA models including the 1/5 KRATON 8S and 1/5 OUTCAST 8S series, which are among the most popular high-speed RC trucks for UK enthusiasts. Whether you've damaged a turnbuckle in a crash or simply want to maintain spare parts for your RC collection, this pack of two provides great value and reliability.

For anyone serious about their RC hobby in the UK, having quality replacement parts on hand is essential. These steel turnbuckles represent genuine ARRMA parts that will integrate seamlessly with your existing setup, maintaining the precision and durability your RC deserves.

Key Features

  • Tough steel material — The construction uses high-quality steel that provides excellent durability and impressive crash resistance, meaning these turnbuckles will withstand the punishment that comes with regular bashing, racing and high-impact terrain on your brushless RC truck.
  • Precision manufactured threads — Each turnbuckle is manufactured with precision-cut threads that enable fast and easy installation and adjustment, allowing you to quickly dial in your steering and suspension geometry without fumbling with loose or poorly-fitting components.
  • 7mm Hex fit for turnbuckle adjustment tool — The hex fitting is specifically designed to work with standard 7mm turnbuckle adjustment tools, giving you smooth, controlled adjustment and reducing the risk of stripping the fastener during fine-tuning sessions.
  • Black finish for cool looks — Beyond pure functionality, the sleek black finish gives your RC car a professional and aggressive appearance that matches the styling of modern ARRMA trucks and buggies.
  • Pack of two — This set includes 2 x Steel Turnbuckle M6x130mm, providing you with a spare set or allowing you to replace turnbuckles on multiple vehicles, which is ideal if you run more than one RC model.

Technical Performance

These M6x130mm steel turnbuckles are engineered for the demands of modern high-performance RC vehicles. The M6 designation refers to the 6mm threaded rod diameter, whilst the 130mm length indicates the overall dimension of the assembled turnbuckle, making these components perfectly suited to the suspension geometry of 1/5 scale trucks like the ARRMA KRATON 8S and OUTCAST 8S. Steel construction provides superior strength compared to aluminium alternatives, resisting bending and deformation even under the intense forces generated during high-speed cornering, jumps and crash impacts. The precision-manufactured threads ensure smooth operation when making micro-adjustments to your steering toe-in or suspension settings, which is critical for achieving optimal handling on your RC car. The 7mm hex fitting is industry-standard across RC vehicles in the UK and worldwide, making these turnbuckles a universal upgrade for suspension tuning. Whether you're running 8S LiPo power on a 1/5 scale brushless RC truck or experimenting with suspension geometry changes, these turnbuckles will deliver consistent performance and reliability.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • What RC models are compatible with the M6x130mm steel turnbuckle? — These turnbuckles are listed as standard parts for the ARRMA 1/5 KRATON 8S 4X4 RTR Brushless Speed Truck, ARRMA 1/5 KRATON 8S EXB 4X4 Roller Brushless Speed Truck and ARRMA 1/5 OUTCAST 8S AVC 4X4 RTR Brushless Stunt Truck. • Why would I need replacement turnbuckles for my RC truck? — Turnbuckles can bend or strip during crashes, or you may simply want to experiment with different suspension geometries to improve handling. Having spare turnbuckles allows you to maintain your RC car or quickly replace damaged components without waiting for delivery, keeping you in the action.
  • Are these suitable for beginners? — Yes, these turnbuckles are straightforward replacement parts that work with standard RC tools. Beginners should understand that turnbuckles are used for suspension geometry adjustment, which requires some knowledge of RC setup, but installation and basic adjustment are accessible to anyone willing to learn the fundamentals of RC tuning.
  • What tools do I need to adjust these turnbuckles? — You'll need a standard 7mm hex turnbuckle adjustment tool, which is a common and inexpensive tool available at most RC retailers in the UK. This tool allows smooth adjustment of the turnbuckle length to fine-tune your steering and suspension geometry.
  • Is this genuine ARRMA? — Yes, these are genuine ARRMA parts manufactured to OEM specifications. The part number ARA340156 ensures you're getting authentic components that will integrate perfectly with your ARRMA RC vehicle.
  • How many turnbuckles do I need? — This pack includes 2 turnbuckles. Depending on your RC model and which suspension adjustments you're making, you may need multiple sets. Many UK RC enthusiasts keep several sets of spare turnbuckles on hand for quick repairs and setup experimentation.
