Overview
The RPM Front A-Arms for the ARRMA Kraton and Outcast 4s BLX represent a premium suspension upgrade designed for RC enthusiasts who demand durability and performance from their brushless RC monster truck or stadium truck. Whether you're a weekend basher or a serious RC racer in the UK, these front A-arms deliver the strength, precision and handling improvements that separate a good setup from a great one. RPM has engineered these components specifically for the 4S BLX versions of the ARRMA Kraton and Outcast, replacing the stock ARRMA AR330520 parts with massively upgraded alternatives that transform how your RC car performs on the track or in the field.
What makes these front A-arms stand out in the competitive world of RC car upgrades is the combination of three critical improvements: reduced hinge pin slop for sharper steering response, an additional shock mount hole for suspension geometry customisation, and engineering-grade nylon construction that is almost 25% thicker than stock components. Every RC driver knows that suspension geometry directly impacts cornering stability, camber consistency, and overall handling precision. These RPM A-arms address all of these factors in one comprehensive upgrade package that's ready to bolt straight onto your ARRMA 4S BLX.
Available from RC Model Shop, these are genuine RPM parts backed by the manufacturer's reputation for quality and reliability. If you're looking to upgrade your ARRMA Kraton or Outcast 4S with suspension components that will genuinely improve performance while eliminating the weak points of stock A-arms, this is exactly what you need.
Key Features
- Slop Elimination Technology — RPM has engineered these front A-arms with significantly reduced hinge pin movement, which directly translates to tighter, more responsive steering inputs and more consistent maintenance of camber, caster and toe angle settings throughout your driving session. This precision handling improvement is especially noticeable when pushing hard through corners or navigating technical terrain.
- Dual Shock Mount Hole Design — The addition of a second shock mount hole positioned further out on the A-arm allows you to customise your suspension geometry for a lower profile setup. By moving the shock mount position, you can drop your ride height, lower the centre of gravity, and achieve superior cornering stability without changing other suspension components.
- 25% Thicker Construction — These A-arms are approximately 25% thicker than the stock ARRMA alternatives, delivering dramatically increased strength and durability. This extra material means your RC car can absorb the punishment of high-speed bashing, technical terrain, and competitive racing without the risk of breakage that plagues thinner stock components.
- Engineering-Grade Nylon Material — RPM's proprietary blend of engineering-grade nylons creates an almost indestructible foundation for your suspension. This material selection represents a significant upgrade over standard plastic, providing the flexibility needed to absorb impacts whilst maintaining structural integrity through thousands of landings and rough terrain encounters.
- Massive Uniform Thickness — Unlike some upgrade components that reinforce only critical stress points, RPM's A-arms feature uniform thickness across their entire length. This engineering approach distributes load evenly and prevents the weak points that often emerge when only portions of a component are strengthened.
- Drop-In Replacement Design — These front A-arms are specifically engineered to replace the stock ARRMA AR330520 parts on 4S BLX models, meaning installation is straightforward with no modifications required to your ARRMA Kraton or Outcast.
Technical Performance
RPM front A-arms represent a leap forward in suspension engineering for the ARRMA 4S BLX platform. The brand's relentless focus on durability starts with material science — the engineering-grade nylon blend used throughout these components offers superior impact resistance compared to standard plastic whilst maintaining the flexibility necessary for proper suspension articulation. The uniform thickness design means stress is distributed evenly across the entire arm length rather than concentrating at specific points, dramatically extending component lifespan. The reduced hinge pin slop achieved through tighter tolerances directly improves steering response and maintains consistent camber, caster and toe angles, which is critical for predictable handling and performance. The dual shock mount hole feature introduces genuine geometry customisation options, allowing you to lower your RC car's centre of gravity for improved cornering stability and a more planted feel through high-speed corners. These arms have been rigorously tested in real-world conditions and have proven themselves capable of handling the demands of serious bashers, weekend warriors, and competitive racers alike. Whether you're running your ARRMA Kraton or Outcast 4S in muddy terrain, rocky tracks, or concrete courses, these A-arms deliver the reliability and performance consistency that keeps you driving and keeps you winning.

Frequently Asked Questions
- Are these RPM front A-arms compatible with my ARRMA Kraton or Outcast 4S? — Yes, these A-arms are designed specifically for 4S BLX versions of the ARRMA Kraton and Outcast. They directly replace the stock ARRMA AR330520 front A-arms with zero modifications required. Simply unbolt the originals and bolt on the RPM upgrades.
- How much more durable are these compared to stock ARRMA A-arms? — RPM's front A-arms are approximately 25% thicker than the stock components and are moulded from a nearly indestructible engineering-grade nylon blend rather than standard plastic. Real-world user feedback confirms that breakage becomes extremely rare after upgrading, with users reporting that their RC cars survive impacts and terrain challenges that would previously result in A-arm failure.
- What is the second shock mount hole for? — The additional shock mount hole positioned further out on the arm allows you to lower your suspension geometry and drop the ride height of your RC car. This results in a lower centre of gravity and significantly improved cornering stability. It's a simple but effective way to customise your suspension setup without replacing other components.
- Will upgrading to these A-arms improve my steering response? — Yes. The primary cause of poor steering response is hinge pin slop — excess movement of the A-arm at the hinge pin connection point. RPM's precision engineering reduces this slop significantly, which means your steering inputs translate more directly into wheel movement and more consistent camber angles, resulting in noticeably sharper handling.
- Are these suitable for beginners? — Absolutely. Whilst these A-arms are premium performance components, they are simple drop-in replacements that require no special tools or technical knowledge to install. Any RC enthusiast capable of basic maintenance can fit them in minutes. The durability improvement is especially valuable for beginners who are still learning control techniques and may benefit from components that can withstand harder impacts.
- What is the difference between the V1 and V2 versions? — These are specifically designed for V1 (4S BLX) models. Do not use on V2 versions, as RPM produces separate A-arms optimised for the updated V2 suspension geometry. Check your ARRMA documentation to confirm which version you own before ordering.
