Extreme Crawling by Design

The Traxxas TXC-4M Extreme Crawler is a 1:18 scale, clean-sheet crawler built to deliver competition-grade performance across the toughest terrain. Its all-new monocoque chassis is both lighter and more rigid than a traditional ladder frame, with electronics and suspension positioned to achieve a radical 60/40 forward weight bias and exceptional ground clearance. An 11.1-volt 3s brushless power system drives a high-reduction driveline for ultra-precise throttle control and exceptional torque, running at crawling speeds so low the rig appears motionless. Portal axles, a 60 steering angle, large Stone Claw beadlock tyres, and horizontally mounted GTM Pro shocks come as standard, and TXC-4M arrives Ready-To-Drive with a 3-cell LiPo battery and USB charger included.

3s Brushless Power

TXC-4M is equipped with 11.1 volts of brushless 3s LiPo power, providing the performance demanded by extreme crawling. This 3s power system enables a high-reduction driveline that delivers ultra-precise throttle control and exceptional torque, with crawling speeds low enough that the rig can appear completely motionless.

Rigid Monocoque Chassis

TXC-4M's all-new monocoque chassis is both significantly lighter and more rigid than a traditional ladder frame, purpose-built for the ultimate crawling experience. With no chassis flex, TXC-4M tracks straight and true even under extreme articulation, making the monocoque construction a key element of its design.

Competition-Grade Steering

TXC-4M delivers competition-grade steering with an exceptional 60 steering angle and a tight turning radius. A laterally mounted 2265 metal-gear servo provides 75 oz-in of torque, while high-clearance steering and drag links allow TXC-4M to tackle the toughest lines without getting hung up on the rocks.

Portal Axles

Portal axles lift TXC-4M at the wheels, increasing ground clearance under the centre pumpkins. They also limit torque twist by transferring gear reduction to the wheels and away from the differentials, making TXC-4M more stable and less likely to twist itself off the rocks.

Stone Claw Tyres

The 1.3in x 2.8in Stone Claw beadlock tyres feature an aggressive stepped-block tread design that maximises biting edges. Moulded in soft-compound rubber, Stone Claw tyres grab onto rocks with unrivalled traction, outperforming even the best aftermarket tyres.

3s Battery and Charger Included

TXC-4M includes a 3-cell LiPo battery and fast USB charger. The compact battery puts out 11.1 volts of power for rock-climbing torque and high-rpm trail driving. The iD-equipped charger balances the battery perfectly every time with no complicated settings to memorise.

USB Quick Charger with iD

The included USB-A charger provides fast and convenient charging almost anywhere. Traxxas iD technology is an easier and safer way to charge LiPo batteries. Simply plug in the iD battery and the charger does the rest. When the LED light turns green, the battery is charged.

Included 3s LiPo Battery

The included 3-cell LiPo battery delivers 11.1 volts of high-performance power and long run times, with Traxxas iD safety and simplicity built in. The specially designed iD connector plugs directly into the ESC and cannot be plugged in backwards.

TQ Compact Transmitter

The TQ transmitter packs long-range control and glitch-free 2.4 GHz performance into a compact, lightweight package. It features an ergonomic grip colour-matched to the vehicle, along with a removable adapter to accommodate smaller hands.

Method Beadlock Wheels

These functional 1.3in replica Method Race Wheels 105 beadlock wheels provide maximum grip on the tyre bead and fit a standard 7 mm hex. Optional brass wheel weights (sold separately) can be added to give TXC-4M even more stability for tough technical manoeuvres.

Hex Hardware

Every fastener on TXC-4M is hex hardware, finished with a rust-resistant coating. The coating is applied for long-term durability, and the high-quality hex hardware provides secure fastening throughout the crawler, holding all components firmly together.

Clipless Body Mounting

TXC-4M's high-performance tube-frame body latches into the front of the chassis and snaps shut in the rear with clipless convenience. The rugged body stays securely mounted to the chassis, but releases in just seconds.

Steel Portal Weights

Steel front portal weights are fitted to TXC-4M to add mass at the lowest point of the vehicle. Positioned down low, they contribute to keeping the wheels planted and are designed for improved climbing agility and rollover resistance.

60 Steering Angle

TXC-4M achieves its 60 steering angle through a combination of a powerful metal-gear servo and an extended metal servo horn, which provide maximum throw. Steel U-joints and high-angle steering knuckles on the front axles deliver the articulation required to support this steering range.

Steel Axle Cover

A steel front axle cover is fitted to the front of TXC-4M, adding weight to the lowest part of the vehicle and increasing front weight bias. This combination of added mass and low positioning contributes to TXC-4M's anti-rollover stability and superior rock-climbing capability.

High-Torque 2265 Servo

The extended metal servo horn demands real power, and the 2265R servo delivers it with 75 oz-in of torque, more than double that of a conventional sub-micro servo. An all-metal gear train paired with an aluminium centre section gives the 2265R exceptional durability.

Oil-Filled GTM Pro Shocks

GTM Pro shock bodies are precision-machined from tough 6061-T6 aluminium and anodised in brilliant colour. Springs sit beneath the shock bodies for a realistic scale appearance, while dual O-rings provide a positive seal on the shaft for smooth performance over rocky terrain.

Brushless Outrunner Motor

The 3350 Kv brushless motor offers exceptional torque and low-speed rock-climbing control. On the trail, the 11.1-volt motor delivers high-rpm performance and dramatic speed. Its black high-gloss can features laser etching, giving the motor a striking appearance.

3s Brushless ESC

The brushless 3s ESC features field-oriented control (FOC) programming, which monitors the motor's position for ultra-precise control. A powerful 6-volt BEC ensures the 2265 servo receives ample power, while 2-stage low-voltage detection protects the LiPo battery.

TQi Receiver

The TQi receiver is compatible with both TQi and TQ Compact transmitters, making it straightforward to bind with other Traxxas transmitters. Dual servo and LED light plugs offer maximum flexibility, and its lightweight construction adds minimal mass to the chassis.

High-Clearance Suspension Links

The TXC-4M rides on a sophisticated 4-link triangulated suspension with excellent articulation and axle control. High-clearance lower links are angled upwards at the axles to provide maximum centre ground clearance.

Steel Driveshafts & U-Joints

The TXC-4M's outer driveline is constructed entirely from steel, running from the axle spools all the way to the wheels. Steel driveshafts connect to the portal drive axles and stub axles through high-strength U-joints for superior articulation.

Metal-Gear Transmission

The TXC-4M's single-speed transmission uses all-metal gears for maximum strength, paired with sealed ball-bearings for smooth-running precision. The motor mounts directly to the transmission assembly, allowing quick and easy removal.

Heavy-Duty Centre Driveshafts

TXC-4M's heavy-duty centre driveshafts telescope freely to allow maximum suspension travel across the full range of axle movement. Smooth-running CV joints are engineered into the assembly for long-lasting, trouble-free performance.

Spool-Equipped Axles

The TXC-4M's solid front and rear axles are fully locked, sending equal power to all four wheels with no slippage possible. Metal spool gears and steel axles ensure rock-solid durability, even under TXC-4M's 3s brushless torque.

Forward Weight Bias

Forward weight bias increases grip to the front wheels, allowing steeper ascents, more traction for steering, and better overall balance for climbing obstacles. As a clean-sheet design, Traxxas engineers were free to position weight across the chassis to achieve the perfect 60/40 balance for TXC-4M.

Extreme Crawling Capability

TXC-4M is a clean-sheet design built with one purpose: to deliver unrivalled crawling capability in a compact package. From the all-new monocoque chassis to the lay-down shock design, every part contributes to that goal. With TXC-4M, the climbing line you choose is up to you, not limited by your rig.

Climbing Angles

TXC-4M comes ready to tackle steep terrain with a 56.3 driving incline angle and 79.8 static incline angle straight out of the box, plus exceptional side-hilling capability. A combination of forward weight bias, a low-CG chassis, and incredibly grippy tyres gives TXC-4M truly unrivalled climbing capability.

Tight Steering Radius

On a technical course, mere millimetres can make the difference between clearing a gate marker or falling off the rocks. TXC-4M sets a new benchmark for turning radius with its incredible 60 steering angle.

High-Strength Driveline

TXC-4M arrives battle-hardened and ready for action with a robust driveline built for 3s torque. All-metal gears in the transmission, differential spools, and portal axles deliver rock-solid durability, with steel axles and heavy-duty telescoping centre driveshafts running in between.

Front Overdrive Axle

TXC-4M's 1:18 scale puts more rubber to the ground for exceptional off-road performance. Detailed wheels and tyres are sized to carry TXC-4M up and over real-world obstacles, with a stunning scale appearance.

Lay-Down GTM Pro Shocks

Unlike traditional vehicles that rely on shocks for ride height, TXC-4M's oil-filled GTM Pro shocks are mounted horizontally to provide exceptional articulation to the wheels. Their brightly anodised aluminium construction delivers superior damping performance with a realistic scale appearance.

High-Performance Body

TXC-4M's lightweight tube-frame body keeps the centre of gravity low and provides maximum clearance for extreme technical crawling. Removable body panels and a full interior give TXC-4M a high-tech appearance with nearly limitless customisation.

Brushless ESC with 3 Drive Modes

TXC-4M's standalone brushless ESC supports three custom drive modes. Sport Mode provides forward, brake and reverse. Trail Mode adds a trail-tuned drag brake to control descents with the throttle in neutral. Crawl Mode activates 100% hill-hold braking for maximum grip on the rocks.

Available LED Lights

Three LED lighting options are available separately to give TXC-4M a unique look on the trail. High-intensity headlights and a roof light bar light the path ahead, with rock lights to scout the perfect line. All kits are custom-designed to fit TXC-4M with built-in wire management and easy installation.
