- Premium N48 Magnetic Arc Design — This motor utilises high-grade N48 neodymium magnets arranged in an optimised arc configuration, which directly translates to maximum torque output whilst maintaining excellent efficiency across the entire throttle range.
- Advanced Heat Dissipation Engineering — The large cavity design combined with the self-cooling structure of the motor's top cover creates a highly efficient cooling system, significantly enhancing the motor's thermal performance and extending its operational lifespan even during intensive flying sessions.
- Ultra-Low Vibration Rotor Design — The rotor has been engineered using advanced dynamic balancing technology with high-quality bearings and precision CNC machining, resulting in exceptionally smooth operation that translates to improved flight stability and reduced structural stress on your aircraft.
- Multi-Point Anti-Loosening Rotor Security — The rotor is secured through a sophisticated system incorporating copper pads, retainer springs, bushings and set screws, ensuring the rotor remains perfectly positioned even under the most demanding flight conditions, which dramatically improves reliability and safety.
- Superior Materials and Construction — The motor employs top-branded JNEH1200 silicon steel sheets at 0.2mm thickness for lower iron loss, combined with 180°C high-temperature resistant enameled wire, ensuring the stator coil maintains its integrity during extended flying and high-load conditions.
- Flexible Silicone Wire Outlet — Unlike traditional straight wire configurations, the soft silicone wire outlet makes routing and installation significantly easier whilst reducing the risk of wire damage or kinking during aircraft assembly.
- Optimised for Skywalker ESCs — This motor is specifically designed to work seamlessly with Hobbywing's Skywalker 80A ESC, creating a perfectly matched powertrain that maximises efficiency, responsiveness and overall system reliability.
- Precision Engineering for Competition and Leisure — Whether you're a competitive RC pilot or a weekend basher, this motor's consistent performance, low maintenance requirements and proven reliability make it equally suitable for racing applications or casual recreational flying.
Technical Performance
The Hobbywing Skywalker 2826SL 850KV motor delivers a maximum continuous current of 69A over 2 minutes and 11 seconds at full throttle, with a maximum continuous power output of 1006.5W sustained for 1 minute and 49 seconds. This impressive power delivery is backed by a low internal resistance of just 20.5 milliohms, which ensures minimal voltage drop and maximum efficiency when powered by 3-4S LiPo batteries. The motor's 12N14P configuration (12 stator slots and 14 permanent magnet poles) provides smooth commutation and excellent torque characteristics across the entire throttle range. At no-load conditions with 14.8V applied (3S LiPo), the motor draws only 2.55A, indicating excellent efficiency and minimal wasted energy. The physical dimensions of 35.1mm diameter by 66mm length keep weight to just 176.2g, making this an ideal choice for weight-conscious aircraft designs. The 5mm steel shaft is supported by quality 685ZZ ball bearings (11mm outer diameter, 5mm inner diameter, 5mm width) that provide smooth rotation and long service life. The motor comes equipped with a 110mm length 16AWG silicone cable for phase connections, allowing flexible routing within your aircraft fuselage. When paired with the recommended Skywalker V2 80A ESC, this motor achieves optimal performance across the 3-4S LiPo battery range, with suggested propeller options including 12x6E, 13x6.5E, 14x6E and 15x6E depending on your specific aircraft weight and flight characteristics.
