Overview
The Corally Diff Syrup Ultra Pure Silicone 15000 CPS is a premium differential oil designed for RC car enthusiasts across the UK who demand precision tuning and consistent performance from their RC vehicles. Whether you're a competitive racer, weekend basher, or serious hobbyist, this professional-grade silicone oil gives you the fine-tuning control needed to dial in your RC buggy, truggy, or monster truck's differential behaviour. Team Corally has engineered this product to deliver the exact viscosity needed for optimal differential performance, ensuring smooth power delivery and predictable handling on both track and terrain.
This 15000 CPS viscosity formulation sits at the medium-thick end of the Corally range, making it ideal for drivers who want a balance between differential lock-up and slip characteristics. Each 60ml bottle is manufactured and bottled in Europe to the highest standards, with every production batch rheometer-calibrated to guarantee consistency from one bottle to the next. The ultra-pure silicone formulation ensures that your differential operates at peak efficiency without gumming or degradation, even during extended running sessions or challenging weather conditions typical of RC racing in the UK.
For anyone serious about RC hobby performance—whether you run a 1/10 scale buggy, a 1/8 truggy, or any other RC model with a differential—having the correct viscosity oil is crucial. Too thin, and your differential will slip excessively; too thick, and it will lock up and cause handling issues. With Corally's comprehensive range from 3000 CPS up to 100000 CPS, you can find exactly the right viscosity for your application, and this 15000 CPS option provides an excellent middle-ground for many popular RC configurations.
Key Features
- Ultra Pure Silicone Formula — Made from 100% pure silicone oil, this differential fluid is engineered to deliver maximum purity and consistency, ensuring your differential gears and bearings operate smoothly without contamination or breakdown over time.
- Rheometer Calibrated Every Batch — Each production batch of Corally Diff Syrup is independently rheometer-calibrated by Team Corally to guarantee that viscosity is consistent and accurate, eliminating batch-to-batch variation and giving you reliable, repeatable tuning results every time you refill your differential.
- 15000 CPS Medium-Thick Viscosity — The 15000 centistoke rating places this oil in the medium-thick category, providing an excellent balance for most RC vehicles, offering controlled slip with sufficient lock-up for responsive handling and smooth power delivery.
- Drop-by-Drop Flip Top Cap — The precision flip-top applicator cap allows you to add oil drop by drop, giving you complete control over differential tuning without waste or overfilling, which is essential when making fine adjustments to your RC car's performance.
- Viscosity Indication Label on Cap — A clear viscosity marking printed directly on the bottle cap means you'll always know exactly what weight oil you're using at a glance, eliminating confusion when you're working with multiple oils or managing a fleet of RC vehicles.
- Temperature Stable Performance — Formulated to maintain consistent viscosity across a wide temperature range, this oil performs reliably whether you're racing during a hot summer session or during cooler autumn weather typical of UK RC racing.
- European Manufacture and Bottling — Produced and bottled in Europe to the highest quality standards, this ensures superior consistency, traceability, and reliability compared to oils manufactured elsewhere, backed by Team Corally's reputation for quality.
- 60ml Content Per Bottle — The 60ml (2oz) size provides ample oil for multiple differential fills or adjustments on multiple vehicles, making it excellent value for both casual hobbyists and serious RC racers who maintain several cars.
- Industry-Standard CPS Rating System — Using the internationally recognised CPS (centipoise) viscosity scale, this oil's rating is universally understood and comparable across all RC manufacturers, allowing you to make informed decisions when selecting oils for different vehicles and applications.
Technical Performance
The Corally Diff Syrup 15000 CPS represents a masterclass in differential oil engineering for the RC hobby. At 15000 centistitokes, this viscosity sits comfortably in the medium-thick range, making it suitable for a wide variety of RC applications from 1/10 scale buggies to 1/8 scale truggies and larger vehicles. The ultra-pure silicone construction is free from additives that could clog differentials or cause inconsistent performance, providing a clean lubricating medium that allows differential gears to spin freely whilst maintaining the controlled slip characteristics necessary for responsive handling. The rheometer calibration process employed by Team Corally ensures that you're getting precisely the viscosity marked on the bottle—not 14000 CPS or 16000 CPS, but exactly 15000 CPS—which matters enormously when you're making millimetre adjustments to your RC car's differential behaviour. The temperature stability built into this formulation means viscosity won't thin out excessively during hot summer racing or thicken up problematically during cooler UK weather conditions, maintaining predictable differential performance throughout your running session. The drop-by-drop flip-top cap design allows you to add 0.1ml increments, giving you the granular control necessary to fine-tune your vehicle's handling characteristics. Whether you're adjusting front-to-rear differential bias, experimenting with lock-up percentages, or simply maintaining your differential with fresh oil, this professional-grade product performs consistently and reliably.

Frequently Asked Questions
- What viscosity should I choose for my RC car's differential? — Differential viscosity depends on your vehicle type, driving style, and track conditions. Thinner oils (3000–5000 CPS) provide more slip and work well on high-traction surfaces; medium oils (10000–20000 CPS) like this 15000 CPS option suit most general-purpose RC buggies and truggies; thicker oils (50000+ CPS) lock up more aggressively for loose or low-grip conditions. Team Corally offers the complete range from 3000 CPS to 100000 CPS, allowing you to dial in the perfect viscosity for your application.
- How often should I change my differential oil? — For casual RC hobby runners, differential oil should be refreshed every few months or when it becomes discoloured or contaminated. For serious racers running multiple times per week, changing oil more frequently ensures optimal differential performance and longevity. A 60ml bottle provides enough oil for several differential refills, making this product economical for regular maintenance.
- Is this oil suitable for all RC vehicle types? — Yes, this ultra-pure silicone differential oil is suitable for any RC car, truck, buggy, or truggy equipped with a differential. However, the 15000 CPS viscosity is best suited to vehicles that operate on mixed conditions or high-traction surfaces; if you race on very loose terrain or low-grip conditions, you might prefer a thicker oil (50000+ CPS), whilst high-grip carpet racing might benefit from slightly thinner oil (10000 CPS).
- Why is batch calibration important for differential oil? — Differential tuning is about precision—a small change in oil viscosity can noticeably affect how your RC car's differential locks and slips during cornering. Rheometer calibration ensures every batch of Corally oil is exactly the CPS rating marked on the bottle, eliminating the frustration of inconsistent batch-to-batch performance and giving you reliable, repeatable tuning results.
- How does this compare to other differential oils available in the UK? — Corally's Diff Syrup range is recognised for exceptional purity, consistent batch quality, and comprehensive viscosity options across a wider range than most competitors. The European manufacture, rheometer calibration, and drop-by-drop applicator cap combine to provide professional-grade tuning control that serious RC enthusiasts value.
- Can I mix different viscosities of Corally oil? — Technically you can blend oils to achieve an intermediate viscosity between two standard grades (for example, mixing equal parts 10000 CPS and 20000 CPS produces approximately 15000 CPS), though using the exact single grade formulated by Corally ensures maximum consistency and performance.
- What is the shelf life of this differential oil? — Silicone oils are stable and long-lasting when stored in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. An unopened bottle of Corally Diff Syrup should remain usable for several years, making it safe to stock multiple viscosities for your RC fleet.
- Does this oil work in both front and rear differentials? — Yes, this oil is suitable for use in both front and rear differentials. Many RC tuners use the same viscosity in both differentials for simplicity, whilst others use slightly different viscosities front and rear to fine-tune handling balance.
