Overview
The Corally Shock Oil Ultra Pure Silicone 600 CPS is a professional-grade suspension fluid designed specifically for RC shock absorbers. Whether you're tuning your RC car UK setup for competitive racing, weekend bashing, or fine-tuning your brushless RC buggy or truck, this European-manufactured shock oil gives you precise control over your suspension performance. Team Corally's commitment to quality means every bottle is rheometer calibrated to ensure consistent viscosity from batch to batch, giving you the reliability and accuracy that serious RC enthusiasts demand.
This 600 CPS shock oil represents the medium-viscosity option in Corally's comprehensive range, which spans from thin 100 cPS oils right through to thick 1000 cPS formulations. The 600 CPS grade provides an ideal balance for many popular ready to run RC models and custom builds, offering responsive damping without being too stiff or too soft. The ultra-pure silicone formulation is temperature stable, meaning your suspension will perform consistently whether you're racing in summer heat or cooler winter conditions typical of UK RC tracks and outdoor venues.
Each 60ml bottle comes with a convenient drop-by-drop flip top cap, making precise dispensing straightforward and mess-free. The viscosity indication label on the cap ensures you always know exactly what oil you're using, preventing accidental mix-ups during setup changes. For RC enthusiasts across the UK who demand European-manufactured quality and precision engineering, this Corally shock oil is an essential workshop staple.
Key Features
- Ultra Pure Silicone Formulation — Made from 100% pure silicone oil, this shock fluid delivers consistent performance and reliability. Pure silicone resists contamination and breakdown better than blended oils, ensuring your suspension damping characteristics remain stable throughout the season.
- Rheometer Calibrated — Every production batch is rheometer calibrated, meaning Team Corally measures and verifies the exact viscosity of each batch before bottling. This manufacturing precision ensures you get exactly the CPS rating specified, batch after batch, eliminating the frustration of inconsistent suspension feel.
- Temperature Stable Performance — This shock oil maintains consistent viscosity across a wide temperature range, so whether you're running your RC buggy in summer sunshine or winter conditions, your suspension damping remains predictable and tunable.
- Drop-by-Drop Flip Top Cap — The precision flip top design allows you to dispense oil one drop at a time, giving you complete control when topping up shocks or adjusting oil levels. This level of precision is essential for competitive RC car setup work.
- Viscosity Indication Label — The cap features a clear viscosity marking, making it impossible to confuse different oil weights in your workshop. This simple but effective feature prevents costly mistakes during model setup.
- European Manufacturing and Bottling — Manufactured and bottled in Europe to the highest quality standards, this shock oil meets the exacting specifications demanded by professional RC racers and dedicated hobbyists throughout the UK and beyond.
- Comprehensive Viscosity Range Available — While this is the 600 CPS grade, Corally offers a complete range from 100 cPS through to 1000 cPS with numerous intermediate stages, allowing you to find the perfect viscosity for your specific application and driving style.
- 60ml / 2oz Bottle Size — The 60ml bottle provides ample shock oil for multiple suspension adjustments and refills, offering great value and reducing the need for frequent reordering.
Technical Performance
The Corally Shock Oil Ultra Pure Silicone 600 CPS represents a medium viscosity that suits a wide variety of RC applications. The 600 centistokes (cSt) rating places this oil in the sweet spot for many popular RC vehicles, from competitive ready to run RC models to precision-tuned custom builds. The viscosity is measured using industry-proven centipoise (CPS) standards, which means you can confidently compare this oil against specifications from other manufacturers and adjust your suspension setup with precision. This particular grade provides excellent damping characteristics for general-purpose RC suspension work, offering responsive feedback without excessive harshness or excessive compliance. The ultra-pure silicone formulation ensures superior temperature stability, meaning the oil's viscosity remains consistent whether you're running at ambient temperatures typical of UK summer weather or the cooler conditions found during autumn and winter racing. The rheometer calibration process used by Team Corally eliminates batch-to-batch variation, a critical factor for competitive RC racers who need absolute consistency. The drop-by-drop flip top cap is engineered for precision work, allowing you to make micro-adjustments to oil levels during the fine-tuning process that separates competitive setups from casual configurations. Whether you're tuning a brushless RC truck, a nitro-powered buggy, or a competition-grade RC car, this shock oil delivers the performance-oriented reliability expected by serious UK RC hobbyists.

Frequently Asked Questions
- What viscosity shock oil do I need for my RC car? — The correct shock oil viscosity depends on your specific vehicle, suspension setup, and driving conditions. The 600 CPS grade offers a medium viscosity suitable for many popular RC buggies, trucks, and competitive models. If your suspension feels too stiff and jarring, you may need a thinner oil (lower CPS number). If it feels too soft and wallowy, you may need a thicker oil (higher CPS number). Team Corally offers the complete range from 100 CPS up to 1000 CPS, so you can dial in the perfect feel for your setup.
- Is pure silicone shock oil better than blended oils? — Yes. Pure silicone oil like this Corally formulation offers superior temperature stability, better resistance to contamination, and more predictable performance characteristics compared to blended alternatives. The rheometer calibration process used by Team Corally ensures consistency from batch to batch, which is critical for competitive RC racing.
- Can I use this shock oil in any RC vehicle? — This shock oil is specifically designed for shock absorbers in RC cars, buggies, trucks, and similar models. It is not suitable for gearbox lubrication or engine oils. Always verify that your specific vehicle's suspension system is compatible with silicone shock oil before use.
- How long does one 60ml bottle last? — This depends on how frequently you adjust your suspension and how many shocks your vehicle has. A typical RC car has four shocks. A 60ml bottle provides ample oil for multiple suspension adjustments and refills, making it a cost-effective choice for regular RC hobbyists and competitive racers alike.
- What does CPS mean? — CPS stands for centipoise, an industry-standard measure of fluid viscosity. The higher the CPS number, the thicker and more resistant to flow the oil is. This 600 CPS oil is medium viscosity, suitable for general-purpose RC suspension tuning.
- Why is rheometer calibration important? — A rheometer is a precision instrument that measures fluid viscosity. By calibrating every batch, Team Corally ensures that the 600 CPS rating is accurate, consistent, and reliable. This eliminates frustrating batch-to-batch variations that can throw off your carefully tuned suspension setup.
- Is this suitable for beginners? — Yes, absolutely. Beginners will appreciate the clear viscosity label on the cap, the ease of use with the drop-by-drop flip top, and the reliable performance from batch to batch. This shock oil removes one variable from the tuning equation, allowing new racers to focus on other aspects of vehicle setup. The 600 CPS grade is a popular choice that works well for many common RC vehicles.
- What is the difference between this 600 CPS oil and other Corally shock oils? — The primary difference is viscosity. Corally offers a complete range from 100 CPS (very thin, for soft damping) to 1000 CPS (very thick, for stiff damping), with numerous intermediate grades including this 600 CPS option. All are made from 100% pure silicone and are rheometer calibrated. Choose 600 CPS as a good starting point for most vehicles, then experiment with thinner or thicker grades to fine-tune your suspension feel.
