The Corally Steel Screws M3 x 6mm Hex Flat Head fasteners are essential replacement and upgrade components for RC car enthusiasts across the UK. Whether you're building a new Corally RC model, maintaining your existing fleet, or upgrading critical chassis components, these precision-engineered steel screws deliver the reliability and durability demanded by serious RC hobbyists. As a trusted UK RC retailer, we stock genuine Corally fasteners because we understand that quality components are the foundation of successful RC performance, whether you're a weekend basher or competitive racer.

These M3 x 6mm hex flat head screws are manufactured to DIN 7991 industrial standards, ensuring consistent quality and compatibility across Corally's extensive range of RC vehicles including the popular Kagama XP 6S, Spark XB6, and Syncro-4 models. The flat head design sits flush with mounting surfaces, providing a clean aesthetic while maintaining structural integrity under the demanding conditions of off-road RC racing and bashing. Available in a pack of 10 pieces, these screws represent exceptional value for RC enthusiasts who demand genuine OEM parts for their hobby.

Corally is recognised globally for engineering excellence in the RC industry, and every component—from motors and ESCs to fasteners—reflects that commitment to quality. These steel screws are black-finished for corrosion resistance and durability in outdoor RC environments, making them ideal for bashers who tackle diverse terrain across the UK and beyond.

Key Features

  • DIN 7991 Industrial Standard — Manufactured to strict international industrial specifications, ensuring these screws meet precise dimensional tolerances and material standards that guarantee compatibility and performance across all compatible Corally RC models without fitment issues.
  • M3 Thread Size — The M3 metric thread specification ensures these fasteners fit perfectly into corresponding mounting points on Corally chassis, steering racks, and suspension components, eliminating the risk of cross-threading or stripped fastener holes.
  • 6mm Length — The 6mm length provides adequate grip and penetration depth for secure fastening of lightweight composite and aluminium components typical in modern RC vehicles, without excessive protrusion that could interfere with moving parts or cause damage.
  • Hex Flat Head Design — The distinctive hex flat head profile sits completely flush with the mounting surface when properly tightened, reducing wind resistance, improving aerodynamics, and creating a professional finished appearance on your RC model.
  • Black Steel Construction — Manufactured from hardened steel with a black protective finish, these screws resist corrosion and rust in humid UK conditions and when exposed to moisture, water splashes, and salt environments, extending their service life significantly.
  • Pack of 10 Pieces — Ten screws per pack means you have sufficient fasteners for complete assembly of major components or generous spares for maintenance, repairs, and future upgrades without requiring multiple purchases.
  • Genuine Corally OEM Component — As official Corally manufactured fasteners, these screws are engineered to the exact specifications and tolerances required by Corally RC vehicles, ensuring perfect fit and optimal performance compared to generic alternatives.

Technical Performance

These Corally Steel Screws represent precision engineering in fastener design, manufactured to DIN 7991 specifications which is the European standard for countersunk cap screws with hexagon socket heads. The M3 x 6mm specification provides the perfect balance between structural strength and lightweight design—critical considerations in competitive RC racing where every gram and every connection point affects performance. The black steel construction provides superior corrosion resistance compared to standard zinc-plated fasteners, particularly important for RC enthusiasts in the UK who may use their vehicles in varying weather conditions, from wet grass circuits to dusty tracks. The hex flat head design is not merely cosmetic; it distributes clamping force more effectively than traditional Phillips head screws, reducing the likelihood of fastener failure under the vibration and impact forces inherent in RC off-road racing. These screws are specifically engineered for use on Corally's premium suspension components, including the Steering Rack 7075 T6 Dual Stiffener with 2mm hard anodised finish, which requires fasteners that match the engineering quality of the primary components. Whether you're assembling a ready-to-run RC vehicle or performing routine maintenance on your Kagama XP, Spark XB6, or Syncro-4, these genuine OEM fasteners ensure your vehicle maintains factory specification performance and longevity.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • What are these Corally M3 x 6mm screws used for in RC cars? — These precision fasteners are used throughout Corally RC vehicles for securing steering racks, suspension components, chassis plates, and other critical assemblies. They're particularly essential when upgrading or repairing components like the Steering Rack 7075 T6 Dual Stiffener, which requires two of the M3 x 16mm variant alongside other genuine Corally fasteners for proper assembly.
  • Are these genuine Corally OEM parts? — Yes, these are authentic Corally manufactured fasteners meeting DIN 7991 industrial standards. They carry the official Corally model number C-3002-30-06 and EAN barcode 8718057205065, confirming their authenticity and ensuring compatibility with all Corally RC vehicles.
  • Why should I use genuine Corally fasteners instead of generic alternatives? — Genuine Corally fasteners are engineered to precise specifications matching the tolerances and requirements of Corally components. Generic screws may have slightly different thread pitches, head heights, or material properties that can result in poor fitment, stripped threads, or premature fastener failure under RC racing conditions.
  • What is DIN 7991 standard? — DIN 7991 is the German industrial standard (equivalent to ISO 10642) specifying dimensions, tolerances, and material requirements for countersunk cap screws with hexagon socket heads. This ensures these screws meet strict international quality and compatibility standards.
  • How many screws do I get in a pack? — Each pack contains 10 pieces, providing sufficient fasteners for complete assembly of major Corally components or adequate spares for maintenance and repairs without requiring multiple packs for single projects.
  • Will these screws fit my Corally RC vehicle? — The M3 x 6mm specification fits all Corally vehicles that use M3 fasteners in their design, including popular models like the Kagama XP 6S Brushless Truck, Spark XB6 Brushless Basher Buggy, and Syncro-4 Brushless Basher Buggy. Check your vehicle's assembly manual or parts diagram to confirm your specific model requires this size.
  • What makes the hex flat head design better than other screw types? — The hex flat head (countersunk design) sits completely flush with the mounting surface, improving aerodynamics and reducing snagging points. The hexagon socket provides superior grip compared to Phillips or slot heads, reducing the risk of stripping during installation and removal.
  • Are these screws suitable for beginners working on RC cars? — Absolutely. These Corally screws are standard fasteners used in all Corally vehicle assemblies, making them ideal for beginners learning RC car assembly and maintenance. The hex head design makes them easier to work with than Phillips screws, and following the vehicle's assembly instructions ensures proper installation.
