Key Features
- Hard Compound Material — The hard spring rating ensures aggressive suspension response, making these springs ideal for high-speed driving, rough terrain bashing, and competitive racing where you need maximum control and minimal chassis roll during cornering and acceleration.
- Precision 1.8mm Diameter — The specific 1.8mm thickness is engineered to work with Corally's suspension geometry, providing consistent spring rates that maintain your RC car's handling characteristics across varying track conditions and driving intensities.
- 75-77mm Length Range — These springs fit within the precise length specifications required for proper shock absorber function, ensuring your front suspension articulates smoothly without binding or excessive travel that could damage your RC buggy's chassis.
- Pair Included — You receive two springs in this package, giving you the complete set needed for your vehicle's front suspension system, or alternatively, providing spares for maintenance and replacement as your springs age.
- Universal Tuning Solution — As a professional-grade tuning part and spare component, these springs allow you to adjust your RC car's suspension characteristics independently from other suspension modifications, giving you granular control over your vehicle's performance envelope.
- Springsteel Construction — Built from high-quality springsteel, these components offer durability and consistent performance through repeated compression and extension cycles, ensuring your suspension remains predictable lap after lap or bash session after bash session.
Technical Performance
The Corally Shock Spring Hard Buggy Front represents meticulous engineering in suspension tuning for RC vehicles. Manufactured from premium springsteel, these springs are engineered to provide consistent spring rates that directly influence your RC buggy's handling balance, cornering speed, and overall drivability. The hard compound rating means these springs compress with greater resistance compared to softer alternatives, making them exceptionally suitable for drivers who prefer aggressive acceleration, tight cornering, and maintaining control over bumpy terrain. The specific 1.8mm diameter and 75-77mm length combination works in harmony with Corally's suspension geometry across their vehicle range, ensuring that when you install these springs, you're benefiting from factory-engineered tuning precision. These springs fit a wide array of Corally models including the Kagama 4, Spark6, Punisher 4 as spare parts, and the Radix6, Python, and Syncro series as tuning components, demonstrating the versatility and broad compatibility of these components within the Corally ecosystem. Whether you're fine-tuning a single vehicle or maintaining a fleet of ready to run RC cars, these springs will maintain consistent performance characteristics and are replaceable components that should be checked regularly for wear during intensive use.

Frequently Asked Questions
- What is the difference between hard, medium and soft shock springs for RC buggies? — Shock spring hardness directly affects how much your suspension compresses under load. Hard springs (like these) compress less and provide firmer suspension response, ideal for fast driving and smooth tracks. Medium springs offer balanced behaviour for general-purpose use. Soft springs compress more easily and are better for rough terrain and slower technical driving. Your choice depends on your driving style, track conditions, and desired handling characteristics.
- Are these shock springs suitable for beginners? — These springs are specifically designed as a tuning component, which means they're best suited for experienced RC enthusiasts who understand suspension geometry and handling dynamics. Beginners might benefit from starting with their vehicle's stock spring setup before experimenting with harder compounds. However, if you're upgrading an existing vehicle, these are excellent quality components that will improve your setup once you understand how to tune suspension properly.
- Will these fit my Corally RC buggy or truck? — These springs fit multiple Corally vehicles as either spare parts or tuning components. Check the compatibility section above to verify your specific model. The Punisher 4, Spark6, Kagama 4, Radix6, Python, Radix 4, and Syncro series are all compatible, but always confirm your exact vehicle model number before ordering to avoid compatibility issues.
- How often should I replace shock springs on my RC car? — Shock springs don't typically wear out quickly like tyres or bushings, but they can lose their spring characteristics over time with intensive use. Inspect them regularly for cracks, rust, or signs of deformation. Generally, for casual bashers, springs last 12-24 months; for competitive racers using them heavily, inspection every 6 months is sensible. Keep spare springs in your maintenance kit so you can replace them immediately if needed.
- What is the benefit of having multiple spring options available? — Different spring rates allow you to fine-tune your RC buggy's suspension independently. By changing only the springs, you can adjust how your vehicle responds to bumps, cornering forces, and acceleration without replacing the entire shock absorber unit. This modular approach to suspension tuning is essential for competitive racing and for optimising your RC car's handling to match your driving preferences and track conditions.
