These genuine Associated springs deliver a 1.80 lb/in spring rate with a 61 mm free length, making them an essential upgrade for anyone running compatible Associated RC platforms across the UK RC hobby scene. Whether you're competing at your local track or enjoying weekend bashing sessions, these rear shock springs offer the foundation for dialling in the perfect balance between grip and response.

Choosing the right suspension geometry is absolutely critical in RC car performance, and springs are the cornerstone of that system. The vibrant green finish isn't just for looks—it's the industry-standard colour coding that makes identifying your spring rate instantly recognisable in the workshop or at the track. For RC car UK enthusiasts who take their setups seriously, having genuine OEM Team Associated components ensures compatibility, consistency and durability across multiple seasons of use. These springs are built to exacting standards and will maintain their performance characteristics through countless hours of driving.

Whether you're a club racer looking to fine-tune suspension geometry or an experienced basher who wants to optimise your RC buggy or truck setup, these rear shock springs are the professional choice. They represent genuine Team Associated engineering at an affordable price point, allowing you to experiment with different spring rates without breaking the bank. The straightforward design and proven compatibility across multiple Associated platforms make these springs a versatile addition to any serious RC enthusiast's spare parts collection.

Key Features

  • 1.80 lb/in Spring Rate — This medium-compliance spring rate is ideal for adjusting rear grip and response characteristics, allowing you to fine-tune how your RC car handles different track surfaces and driving styles without needing extreme spring rates that compromise comfort or performance.
  • 61 mm Free Length — The precisely measured 61 mm length ensures perfect fitment on compatible Associated platforms, eliminating guesswork and guaranteeing consistent suspension performance across multiple setups and vehicles.
  • Green Colour Identification — The distinctive green finish follows industry-standard spring colour coding, making it instantly recognisable in your workshop or pit bag so you never accidentally mix up different spring rates during setups.
  • Genuine Team Associated Component — As an official OEM part manufactured by Team Associated, these springs meet exact engineering specifications and deliver the reliability and performance that professional racers depend on, ensuring your investment in quality pays off with consistent results.
  • Rear Shock Application — Specifically designed for rear shock use on compatible RC platforms, these springs are engineered to work seamlessly with Associated's suspension geometry and shock absorber designs for optimal damping characteristics.
  • Repeatable Suspension Tuning — The consistent spring rate and precise length make these springs a dependable choice for A-B testing different setups, allowing you to isolate suspension changes and understand how modifications affect your RC car's handling characteristics.
  • Multi-Platform Compatibility — These springs work across numerous Team Associated RC platforms including the RC10 B-series buggies, T6.1 touring car, SC6.1 short course truck and RB10 vintage platform, making them a versatile upgrade investment.

Technical Performance

Team Associated's engineering reputation is built on precision manufacturing, and these rear shock springs exemplify that commitment to quality. The 1.80 lb/in spring rate represents a carefully calibrated compromise that works across a broad range of track conditions and driving styles, making it an excellent starting point for suspension tuning on your RC buggy, truck or touring car. The spring constant was selected to provide responsive handling without introducing excessive harshness, allowing your RC car to maintain traction through corners whilst remaining stable under acceleration and braking. The 61 mm free length is not arbitrary—it's precisely calculated to work within the suspension geometry of compatible Associated platforms, ensuring correct ride height and shock travel. The green finish is applied using durable coating processes that resist fading through countless hours of operation under UV light and temperature extremes common in UK outdoor RC driving. The spring material itself is crafted from high-grade alloy steel, heat-treated to exacting standards to ensure consistent performance, minimal material degradation over time, and excellent fatigue resistance through thousands of compression and extension cycles. Whether you're racing on carpet indoors or outdoor dirt tracks, these springs will maintain their performance characteristics and continue delivering the handling refinement that separates good setups from great ones.
