Technical Performance
The Savox SH1350+ Mini Coreless Digital Servo represents the pinnacle of mini servo engineering, combining innovative coreless motor technology with precision digital servo control to deliver performance that exceeds the standard limits of traditional mini servos. At 6V operation, this servo delivers 4.6kg of torque whilst maintaining a blistering response speed of 0.11 seconds per 60 degrees, making it exceptionally quick and powerful for its diminutive size. The coreless motor design is the key to this superior performance – by eliminating the iron core found in traditional brushed motors, Savox engineers have created a motor that produces less internal friction, runs cooler, and responds more efficiently to control inputs. The aluminium heatsink case further enhances thermal management, allowing waste heat to dissipate more effectively and keeping the servo running cool even during extended operation or in hot weather conditions. This servo operates reliably across a temperature range of 14 to 122 degrees Fahrenheit (-10 to 50 degrees Celsius), making it suitable for year-round operation in the UK and across Europe. At idle with no load, the servo draws just 6mA at 6V, demonstrating exceptional power efficiency, whilst under full stall conditions (maximum load with servo prevented from moving), the servo will draw 1000mA at 6V. Dimensions of 35 x 15 x 29.2 millimetres keep this servo compact enough for installation in tight spaces, making it perfect for 1/12 scale RC car builds where space is at a premium and for small helicopter applications where weight and size limitations are critical. The dual ball bearing output shaft support ensures that the servo output rotates smoothly with minimal friction, translating to precise positioning and reduced wear over time, which means longer servo lifespan and more consistent performance throughout the life of your RC model. Whether you're using this servo as a steering servo on a competitive 1/12 scale RC car, as a rudder servo on a 450-size RC helicopter, or as part of a CCPM swashplate setup on a 500-size helicopter, you can trust that this servo will deliver reliable, responsive performance session after session.

Frequently Asked Questions
- What voltage should I run the Savox SH1350+ servo at? — This servo is rated for operation at both 4.8V and 6V nominal battery voltage. For maximum performance, Savox recommends running this servo at 6V, where it delivers its full 4.6kg torque specification and fastest 0.11-second response time. If you're using a 2S LiPo battery pack charged to 7.4V nominal (8.4V fully charged), this is compatible with the servo's 6V rating and will deliver full performance. Running at 4.8V (typical for older NiMH battery packs) will reduce torque to 3.7kg and slow the response to 0.13 seconds per 60 degrees, but the servo will still function reliably.
- Is the SH1350+ suitable for beginner RC enthusiasts? — Yes, this servo is suitable for beginner-level RC car and helicopter builders. The servo itself is straightforward to install, requiring only basic knowledge of servo installation and linkage setup. The digital control circuitry is reliable and forgiving, and the servo's robust construction means it can handle typical beginner mistakes without damage. However, beginners should be aware that proper radio system setup and servo-to-control linkage configuration are important for safe operation, regardless of servo type used.
- What is the difference between the SH1350 and the SH1350+? — The original SH1350 is a proven, reliable servo, whilst the updated SH1350+ (Plus model) includes two important improvements: soft start mode, which provides smoother servo engagement when you power on your radio system, reducing the jolting sensation some servos exhibit at startup, and full compatibility with Sanwa SSR radio systems, which is important if you're using modern Sanwa radio equipment. Specifications remain identical between the two models, so performance is equivalent.
- Can I use this servo on my 1/12 scale RC car? — The Savox SH1350+ is specifically recommended for 1/12 scale RC cars as a steering servo. The 4.6kg torque at 6V is perfectly suited to the steering loads encountered on 1/12 scale vehicles, and the 0.11-second response time ensures quick, responsive steering input. Many competitive 1/12 scale racers and hobbyists throughout the UK choose this servo for reliable, consistent steering performance.
