Overview

The Etronix 3.4kg/0.10s Mini Servo ET2025 is a compact and lightweight servo solution designed for RC enthusiasts who demand precision control in their models without sacrificing valuable space or adding unnecessary weight. This mini servo delivers impressive performance with lightning-fast 0.10-second transit speed and a respectable 3.4kg-cm torque output at 6.0V, making it an excellent choice for a wide range of RC applications from small-scale racing machines to precision control tasks. Whether you're building a competitive RC car in the UK, tuning up a smaller buggy, or working on any hobby-grade RC project that requires responsive steering or control surfaces, this servo punches well above its weight class.

Engineered by Etronix, a recognised name in RC electronics and components, the ET2025 combines practical engineering with user-friendly features. At just 24.3 grams and measuring only 35.5 x 15.0 x 30.0mm, this mini servo fits into tight spaces where standard servos simply won't work. The compact footprint makes it ideal for mini RC cars, micro-scale models, and any application where space is at a premium. The plastic construction keeps weight to a minimum whilst maintaining durability for regular RC hobby use, and the plastic gear set is perfectly adequate for the servo's intended application range.

If you're an RC car UK enthusiast looking for a reliable mini servo that doesn't compromise on speed or torque, the Etronix ET2025 offers genuine value and trusted performance. RC Model Shop stocks this servo and is ready to help you integrate it into your latest project with expert advice and support from our experienced team based in Walsall.

Key Features

  • Ultra-Fast 0.10-Second Speed — The servo completes a full 60-degree sweep in just 0.10 seconds at 6.0V, delivering lightning-quick response times that are essential for competitive RC driving, precise steering input, and any application demanding snappy control feedback from your transmitter.
  • Reliable 3.4kg-cm Torque Output — With 3.4 kilograms of holding torque measured at the servo horn, this mini servo provides more than sufficient force to control steering on micro and mini RC cars, operate control surfaces on small aircraft, or power any compact RC mechanism without slipping or binding.
  • Incredibly Compact Size — Measuring just 35.5 x 15.0 x 30.0mm, the ET2025 is purpose-designed to fit into tight servo bays and confined spaces where standard servos are too large, making it perfect for small-scale RC cars, micro buggies, and custom builds with strict space constraints.
  • Minimal Weight at 24.3 Grams — Weighing barely more than a handful of coins, this servo minimises the impact on your model's overall weight distribution and battery runtime, helping you achieve optimal performance in weight-sensitive applications.
  • Complete Hardware Included — The servo arrives with a full selection of servo horns to suit different mounting configurations, mounting rubber for vibration isolation, and all necessary hardware for installation, saving you money on separate purchases and getting you up and running quickly.
  • Plastic Gears for Durability — The plastic gear set is engineered to handle the servo's operational demands whilst remaining light and cost-effective, offering a sensible balance between performance and longevity for hobby-grade RC use.
  • Plastic Case Construction — The plastic housing is lightweight yet robust enough for typical RC applications, keeping the overall servo weight down without sacrificing the protection your servo needs during normal operation.
  • 6.0V Operating Voltage — Designed to run from a standard 6.0V power supply, this servo integrates easily into existing RC systems and is compatible with conventional receiver-based power architectures used in RC cars and other models across the UK RC hobby.

Technical Performance

The Etronix ET2025 represents excellent engineering in the mini servo category, balancing speed, torque, and weight in a package that's genuinely useful for serious RC hobbyists. Operating at 6.0V, the servo achieves a blistering 0.10-second transit time over a 60-degree arc, which translates to responsive steering feedback that competitive RC car drivers in the UK will appreciate. The 3.4kg-cm torque specification, measured at the servo horn, provides adequate holding force to manage steering loads on mini-scale RC cars without deflection or compliance. The servo's plastic case and plastic gear train keep the overall weight to just 24.3 grams, a crucial advantage when every gram counts in weight-sensitive applications. The build quality reflects Etronix's experience in RC component manufacturing, with the servo engineered to deliver consistent performance across thousands of cycles. The plastic gears, whilst not metal, are perfectly appropriate for this servo's power range and operational duty, offering a pragmatic solution that balances cost-effectiveness with reliability. The compact 35.5 x 15.0 x 30.0mm dimensions open up possibilities for miniature RC projects that would be impossible with larger servos. For RC enthusiasts building or upgrading mini cars, micro-scale models, or any compact RC application demanding precise, rapid control, the ET2025 delivers genuine performance without unnecessary bulk or complexity.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Is the Etronix ET2025 mini servo suitable for my RC car project? — Yes, the ET2025 is specifically designed for compact RC applications where space and weight are critical considerations. With its 0.10-second response time and 3.4kg-cm torque, it's ideal for mini RC cars, micro buggies, and any small-scale RC vehicle requiring responsive steering control. However, check that your servo bay dimensions accommodate the 35.5 x 15.0 x 30.0mm form factor before purchasing.
  • What voltage does this mini servo require? — The Etronix ET2025 operates at 6.0V, which is the standard voltage for most conventional RC receiver systems in the UK hobby market. Ensure your battery pack and receiver are configured to supply 6.0V to the servo for optimal performance and longevity.
  • How fast is the servo response? — The servo completes a full 60-degree sweep in 0.10 seconds at 6.0V, making it one of the quicker mini servos available. This rapid response time is ideal for competitive RC driving where steering input lag can affect lap times and precision.
  • Will the plastic gears hold up for regular RC use? — Yes. The plastic gear set in the ET2025 is engineered to handle the servo's torque output and is perfectly adequate for hobby-grade RC use. Plastic gears offer a pragmatic solution that keeps weight minimal whilst delivering reliable performance. For professional competition or heavy-duty industrial applications, metal-geared servos would be more appropriate, but for standard RC car use, these gears are fit for purpose.
  • What torque does this servo provide? — The Etronix ET2025 delivers 3.4 kilograms of torque measured at the servo horn (3.4kg-cm), which is sufficient to control steering and small mechanical systems on mini and micro-scale RC cars. This is a respectable torque figure for a servo of this size and weight.
  • Does the servo come with mounting hardware? — Yes. The servo includes a full selection of servo horns to match different mounting configurations, rubber mounting bushings to isolate vibration, and complete hardware for installation, so you have everything needed to get the servo operational in your model.
  • What size servo bay do I need? — The servo measures 35.5 x 15.0 x 30.0mm, making it genuinely compact. Check your model's servo bay specifications against these dimensions. The minimal footprint is one of the ET2025's key advantages for space-constrained projects.
  • Is this a brushless servo? — No, the Etronix ET2025 is a standard rotary servo with plastic gears and plastic case construction. It operates on conventional servo control signals from an RC receiver, just like any traditional RC servo. It is not a brushless servo in the motor sense.
