Overview
The Team Associated TC8 Lower Suspension Arms (AS32059) are genuine replacement components designed to keep your RC touring car running true. Whether you're a seasoned competitor or an enthusiast enjoying weekend bashings across the UK, maintaining your suspension geometry is crucial for consistent performance on the track or trail. These lower suspension arms are an essential spare part for any TC8 owner, providing a straightforward replacement option when refreshing worn or damaged suspension components that have seen plenty of action.
Suspension maintenance is one of the most important aspects of RC car ownership, directly affecting how your vehicle handles, how evenly your tyres wear, and ultimately how enjoyable your driving experience becomes. Over time, lower suspension arms can become bent, cracked, or simply worn from countless hours of competitive racing or recreational driving. The TC8 is one of Team Associated's most popular touring car platforms in the UK RC community, and keeping genuine replacement parts on hand ensures you can get back on the circuit quickly without compromising on quality or performance.
These genuine Team Associated parts are manufactured to the exact specifications required for the TC8 chassis, ensuring perfect fitment and reliable operation. By choosing OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) suspension arms rather than aftermarket alternatives, you're investing in components that have been proven in competition and trusted by RC racing professionals. For anyone serious about maintaining their TC8 in peak condition, the AS32059 lower suspension arms are an indispensable addition to your parts bin.
Key Features
- Genuine Team Associated OEM Component — These are authentic manufacturer parts produced to the exact specifications required for the TC8, ensuring perfect fitment, durability, and performance that matches the original suspension geometry your chassis was designed around.
- Direct Replacement for Worn Components — When your lower suspension arms become bent, cracked, or excessively worn from racing or bashing, these genuine replacements restore your chassis to like-new condition and help eliminate handling inconsistencies caused by damaged suspension geometry.
- Restores Consistent Geometry — Damaged or worn suspension arms throw off your chassis geometry, leading to unpredictable handling and uneven tyre wear; fresh arms help maintain the precise angles your TC8 needs for smooth, predictable operation across varied surfaces and conditions.
- Supports Smooth Operation and Predictable Handling — Proper suspension geometry is essential for how your RC car responds to steering inputs; these arms ensure your TC8 maintains the geometry engineers designed for balanced weight transfer, consistent grip, and responsive control.
- Promotes Even Tyre Wear — Suspension geometry directly influences how your tyres contact the track surface; correct geometry from fresh suspension arms helps distribute tyre wear evenly, extending the life of your rubber and maintaining consistent grip throughout a race or driving session.
- Ideal for Routine Maintenance — Whether you're a committed racer performing regular preventative maintenance or returning to the hobby after storing your TC8, having fresh suspension arms as part of your maintenance schedule keeps your chassis in competitive condition.
- Standard Part Fitment — Listed as a standard fitment for the Team Associated TC8, these arms are designed to work seamlessly with your existing chassis without any modifications or compatibility concerns.
Technical Performance
The Team Associated TC8 is renowned throughout the UK RC racing community as a precision-engineered 1/10-scale touring car platform, and the AS32059 lower suspension arms are critical components within that system. These suspension arms are manufactured from durable materials designed to withstand the stresses of both competitive racing and recreational bashing. The geometry of suspension arms directly affects how your chassis behaves—they control the angle of your wheel hub relative to the chassis, influencing camber angles, ride height, and overall weight distribution. When these components become compromised through damage or wear, the suspension geometry falls out of specification, leading to unpredictable handling characteristics, increased tyre wear, and reduced overall performance. By replacing worn lower suspension arms with these genuine Team Associated components, you're restoring your TC8 to its engineered specifications. The arms work in conjunction with your upper suspension arms, shocks, and anti-roll bars to create a balanced suspension system that provides smooth operation, consistent grip, and responsive steering feedback. For RC touring car enthusiasts in the UK looking to maintain their TC8 at peak performance, these replacement arms represent a straightforward, genuine solution to suspension maintenance.

Frequently Asked Questions
- Are these genuine Team Associated parts or aftermarket alternatives? — The AS32059 lower suspension arms are genuine original equipment manufacturer (OEM) components produced by Team Associated, the manufacturer of the TC8 chassis itself. This ensures they meet the exact specifications for fitment and performance, unlike aftermarket options which may have slight variations that affect handling geometry.
- When should I replace my TC8 lower suspension arms? — You should inspect your suspension arms regularly for cracks, bends, or hairline fractures, particularly after heavy crashes or extended racing sessions. If you notice your chassis pulling to one side, uneven tyre wear, or inconsistent steering response, damaged suspension arms may be the cause. Even without visible damage, competitive racers typically replace suspension arms as part of regular maintenance to maintain precise geometry.
- How difficult is it to fit new lower suspension arms to my TC8? — Lower suspension arm replacement is a straightforward maintenance task for most RC enthusiasts. You'll need basic tools and a working knowledge of your TC8's suspension system. If you're unfamiliar with suspension work, our experienced team at RC Model Shop can provide guidance or you can consult the official Team Associated TC8 manual for step-by-step instructions.
- Will these arms work with my TC8? — Yes, the AS32059 is listed as a standard fitment for the Team Associated TC8. However, if you own a different Team Associated touring car model, you should verify compatibility before purchasing, as suspension components can vary between models and generations.
- What's the difference between genuine Team Associated suspension arms and cheaper aftermarket alternatives? — Genuine Team Associated arms are manufactured to the exact specifications used in the original TC8 design, ensuring perfect fitment and geometry. Aftermarket alternatives, whilst sometimes cheaper, may have slight dimensional differences that affect suspension geometry, leading to unpredictable handling. For competitive racing or serious enthusiasts, OEM parts are always the safest choice.
- How often do I need to replace suspension arms? — For recreational drivers, suspension arms may last for many seasons with proper care. For competitive racers running multiple rounds per week, suspension arms should be inspected frequently and replaced when damage is detected or as part of regular season maintenance. Racing at high intensity significantly increases wear on suspension components.
