Technical Performance
The ARRMA Dogbone 102mm is engineered to exacting standards that match the performance capabilities of ARRMA's brushless RC vehicle range. This component is specifically designed for vehicles powered by high-output brushless motors and advanced electronic speed controllers (ESCs) that can handle multiple battery configurations including 6S and 8S LiPo power systems. The 102mm length provides the precise geometry required for optimal suspension articulation on 1/7 scale platforms, ensuring your vehicle maintains perfect ride height and suspension travel regardless of driving intensity. The strong steel construction provides the strength necessary to handle the torque outputs from brushless motors without flexing or failure, while the precision-manufactured drive pins ensure concentricity and eliminate runout that could cause vibration or premature wear. Whether running your RC car UK at high speed on smooth surfaces or bashing through rough terrain with aggressive throttle inputs, this dogbone is engineered to maintain reliability and performance under sustained driving. The component's durability in all conditions means whether you're dealing with wet UK weather, salt spray environments, or dusty off-road tracks, this steel dogbone maintains its structural integrity and performance characteristics. For owners of the Felony 6S, Infraction 6S, and Limitless 8S models, this component becomes a wear item that should be inspected regularly and replaced when any signs of bending, cracking, or drive pin wear become apparent.

Frequently Asked Questions
- Which ARRMA models is the 102mm dogbone compatible with? — This component is designed for ARRMA's 1/7 scale brushless models, specifically fitting the Felony 6S AVC, Infraction 6S AVC, and Limitless 8S AVC variants. It serves as both a standard replacement part and an optional upgrade component for these high-performance RC vehicles.
- How often should I replace the dogbone on my brushless RC car? — Dogbones are wear items that depend on driving intensity, terrain type, and maintenance practices. Inspect your dogbone regularly for signs of bending, cracks, or worn drive pins. Aggressive bashing and high-speed driving will require more frequent replacements than casual recreational use.
- What is a dogbone and why does my RC vehicle need one? — A dogbone is a drivetrain component that connects your differential outdrives to the wheel hubs, transmitting engine power to the wheels while allowing suspension articulation. It's essential for transferring torque from your brushless motor and ESC system to the wheels whilst maintaining proper suspension geometry.
- Is the 102mm the correct size for my ARRMA vehicle? — The 102mm length is designed specifically for 1/7 scale ARRMA models. Always verify your vehicle model matches the compatibility list (Felony 6S, Infraction 6S, Limitless 8S) before purchasing to ensure correct fitment.
- Can I use this dogbone with other brand RC vehicles? — This is an ARRMA-specific component engineered with drive pins and fitment designed exclusively for ARRMA differential outdrives. Using it on other brands may result in improper fit and potential drivetrain damage.
- What causes dogbone failure in RC cars? — Dogbones can fail due to bent axles from impacts, worn or stripped drive pins from repeated engagement cycles, material fatigue from high-torque brushless motors, or improper installation that creates misalignment stress on the component.
