Key Features

  • Genuine Team Associated Original Equipment — This is an authentic OEM part manufactured by Team Associated, ensuring perfect compatibility and the same quality standards that go into every Team Associated chassis. You're not buying a generic alternative; you're buying the exact component the engineers designed for your touring car.
  • Multi-Platform Compatibility — This single body post set works across the entire Team Associated touring car range including the TC6.2, TC7, TC7.1, and TC7.2 models. This broad compatibility makes it an invaluable spare for anyone running multiple Team Associated touring cars or planning to upgrade their chassis in future.
  • Restores Factory Specifications — Body posts define how your shell sits on the chassis. When they wear or become damaged, your body may sit incorrectly, affecting both appearance and handling. This replacement set restores perfect body positioning, ensuring consistent aerodynamics and chassis dynamics for reliable on-track performance.
  • Replacement for Wear and Damage — Whether your body posts have stripped threads from repeated shell changes, become bent from impacts, or simply worn out through normal touring car operation, this set provides the solution. It's an affordable way to refresh these critical mounting points without replacing the entire chassis.
  • Compact and Easy to Install — Body posts are straightforward components to replace, making this a task any RC enthusiast can tackle with basic tools. No complex disassembly required; simply remove the old posts and install the new ones in minutes.
  • Maintains Setup Consistency — For competitive racers, consistent body positioning is essential for repeatable handling characteristics between sessions. Fresh body posts eliminate any slop or misalignment that might compromise your setup precision.

  • Will these body posts fit my Team Associated touring car? — Yes, this AS31625 body post set is designed specifically for Team Associated TC6.2, TC7, TC7.1, and TC7.2 platforms. If you own any of these models, these posts will be a direct replacement. Always verify your chassis model before ordering to ensure compatibility.
  • When should I replace my body posts? — Body posts should be replaced when they become worn, stripped, or damaged. If your body doesn't sit securely on the chassis, moves laterally, or if the posts show visible damage, it's time for replacement. For competitive racers, replacing body posts as part of regular maintenance ensures consistent setup and handling characteristics.
  • How difficult is it to install new body posts? — Replacing body posts is one of the easiest maintenance tasks on a touring car. You simply remove your body shell, unscrew the old posts from the chassis, and screw the new ones in place. It's a task any RC enthusiast can complete in minutes with just a screwdriver. Casual RC car enthusiasts might get many seasons from a single set of posts, whilst competitive racers who change their body regularly may need replacements every season or two. When they wear or strip, replacement is straightforward and affordable.
  • Why is body post condition important for my touring car's performance? — Body posts determine the exact positioning of your shell relative to the chassis. If posts are worn or damaged, your body may sit incorrectly, creating gaps, misalignment, and compromised aerodynamics.
