Overview

Keep your RC model running at peak performance with the Blade 5x10x3mm Ball Bearing set. Whether you're maintaining a beloved RC car UK or restoring smooth operation to your precision RC model, these genuine Blade spare parts deliver the reliability and durability you need. Supplied as a pack of four ball bearings in the metric 5x10x3mm size, this is an essential component for any RC enthusiast who takes their hobby seriously and wants to ensure their models operate efficiently.

Ball bearings are critical components in any RC vehicle, enabling smooth rotation and reducing friction across numerous moving parts. Over time and with regular use, bearings naturally wear and can impact the overall performance of your model. By replacing worn bearings with genuine Blade components, you restore the smooth, efficient operation your RC car UK or other RC model deserves. The Blade 5x10x3mm ball bearing is a standard fitment part that works across a range of Blade models and compatible RC applications where this metric size is specified.

As an authorised Blade retailer, RC Model Shop stocks genuine spare parts that meet the original equipment manufacturer specifications. When you choose these ball bearings, you're investing in consistent fit, reliable performance, and the peace of mind that comes with using authentic components. Whether you're a seasoned RC competitor, a weekend basher, or someone who enjoys routine maintenance to keep their models in pristine condition, this bearing set is an invaluable addition to your spares collection.

Key Features

  • Pack of Four Bearings — Each pack contains four 5x10x3mm ball bearings, giving you multiple replacement options or the ability to service several models in one purchase, which represents excellent value and ensures you always have spares on hand.
  • Genuine Blade Spare Part — These are authentic Blade components manufactured to original equipment specifications, guaranteeing consistent fit, reliability and performance wherever this bearing size is required in your RC models.
  • Metric Size Specification — The 5x10x3mm size is a standard metric bearing dimension used across numerous RC applications, making this a versatile spare part for any collector with multiple models requiring this specific bearing size.
  • Routine Maintenance Component — Use these bearings as part of your regular maintenance schedule to keep your RC models operating smoothly, or deploy them when existing bearings show signs of wear, drag or reduced rotation efficiency.
  • Smooth Rotation Performance — Quality ball bearings are essential for enabling smooth, efficient rotation throughout your RC model, reducing friction and helping maintain the performance characteristics your model was designed to deliver.
  • Easy Installation — These standard bearings are straightforward to install during routine maintenance, making them ideal for RC enthusiasts who perform their own upkeep and repairs rather than relying on professional servicing.

Technical Performance

The Blade 5x10x3mm ball bearing represents precision engineering designed specifically for RC applications where reliability and smooth operation are paramount. Ball bearings work by utilising spherical rolling elements contained within inner and outer races, dramatically reducing friction compared to sleeve bearings and enabling high-speed rotation with minimal resistance. The 5mm bore diameter accommodates standard RC shafts, whilst the 10mm outer diameter provides a larger contact surface for load distribution, and the 3mm width ensures compatibility with standard mounting configurations across Blade models and other RC vehicles using metric bearing specifications. These genuine Blade components are manufactured to tight tolerances, ensuring that when installed correctly, they provide the smooth, efficient rotation essential to maintaining your RC car UK performance standards. Whether you're restoring a model that has seen considerable use or performing preventative maintenance on a relatively new RC vehicle, these bearings will contribute to smoother operation, reduced wear on other drivetrain components, and overall improved longevity of your model's mechanical systems. The metric sizing makes them a universally applicable spare part for anyone with multiple RC models in their collection.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • What size are these ball bearings and what models do they fit? — These are 5x10x3mm metric ball bearings, a standard size used across numerous Blade RC models and other RC applications where this specific bearing dimension is specified. They are listed as a standard fitment part, meaning they work with the models designed to use 5x10x3mm bearings. If you're unsure whether your RC model uses this size, consult your model's manual or contact our team for fitment confirmation.
  • How many bearings come in this pack? — The Blade 5x10x3mm ball bearing set includes four individual bearings, providing multiple replacement options or allowing you to service several models, depending on your needs.
  • Why would I need to replace my RC model's ball bearings? — Ball bearings gradually wear with use, and over time can develop reduced efficiency, increased drag, or visible play in the races. Symptoms include bearings that don't spin freely when manually rotated, unusual noise from drivetrain components, or models that feel sluggish or less responsive than they should be. Replacing worn bearings with fresh, quality components like these genuine Blade bearings restores smooth operation and can noticeably improve your model's performance.
  • Are these genuine Blade components? — Yes, these are authentic Blade spare parts manufactured to original equipment specifications. Purchasing genuine components from authorised retailers like RC Model Shop ensures you receive products meeting manufacturer quality standards, proper fit and reliable performance.
  • What makes ball bearings important in RC models? — Ball bearings enable smooth, low-friction rotation throughout your RC vehicle's drivetrain, suspension, and other moving assemblies. Quality bearings reduce resistance, improve efficiency, minimise wear on associated components, and contribute significantly to overall performance and longevity of your model.
  • Can I install these bearings myself? — Ball bearing installation is a standard maintenance task that most RC enthusiasts can perform with basic tools and mechanical knowledge. If you're experienced with RC maintenance, you should have no difficulty replacing bearings. If you're new to this work, consult your model's manual for installation guidance or seek advice from experienced RC hobbyists.
