Overview

The ARRMA Ball Bearing 6x10x3 RS (2) Z-ARA610055 is an essential replacement component for RC car enthusiasts across the UK who demand reliability and precision in their models. These ball bearings are engineered to provide smooth, consistent rotation and minimal friction, making them a critical component in maintaining peak performance of your RC vehicle. Whether you're a competitive racer, a weekend basher, or someone just getting started with RC cars in the UK, having quality replacement bearings on hand ensures your model stays in top condition for longer.

Ball bearings are fundamental to any RC car's drivetrain and suspension system, and the ARRMA Ball Bearing 6x10x3 RS variant is specifically designed to meet the demanding requirements of modern RC vehicles. The RS designation indicates that these are rubber-sealed bearings, which provides protection against dirt, dust, and moisture contamination during use. This makes them ideal for outdoor RC car racing, off-road bashing, and general recreational driving where environmental exposure is inevitable.

Purchasing genuine ARRMA replacement parts like these bearings ensures compatibility with your existing RC setup and maintains the precision engineering that ARRMA is recognised for across the RC hobby community. With two bearings included in this pack, you'll have a ready replacement pair for your RC car, whether you're performing routine maintenance, upgrading worn components, or building a new model from scratch.

Key Features

  • Rubber-Sealed Design (RS) — The RS specification means these bearings feature rubber seals that protect the internal ball races from dirt, dust, water splash and other contaminants that are commonly encountered during outdoor RC car use, ensuring consistent performance even in challenging conditions.
  • Precise Dimensions — With a 6mm bore, 10mm outer diameter and 3mm width, these bearings are engineered to exact specifications for perfect fit and function in ARRMA RC vehicles, eliminating play and ensuring smooth rotation without binding.
  • Quality Construction — ARRMA is a recognised manufacturer in the RC hobby market, and these bearings are manufactured to the same high standards as the rest of their component range, providing reliability that UK RC enthusiasts have come to expect.
  • Pair Pack of Two — This pack includes two bearings, making it the perfect size for replacing a matched pair on your RC car's drivetrain or suspension, or for keeping as spares for future maintenance needs.
  • Low-Friction Performance — Ball bearings reduce friction in rotating components, allowing your RC car's motor to work more efficiently and transfer power more effectively to the wheels, which translates to better speed, acceleration and overall handling characteristics.
  • Essential Maintenance Component — Regular bearing replacement is part of proper RC car maintenance, and having genuine ARRMA replacements ensures you're using parts that are engineered to work seamlessly with ARRMA vehicles and other quality RC models.

Technical Performance

The ARRMA Ball Bearing 6x10x3 RS represents precision engineering at a component level, with each bearing manufactured to tight tolerances that ensure smooth, consistent rotation with minimal runout and wobble. The rubber-sealed construction is particularly important for RC cars used in outdoor environments across the UK, where dust, grass, water splash and other environmental hazards can quickly degrade unsealed bearings and introduce friction into the drivetrain. The 6mm inner bore is a standard size widely used in RC car applications, accommodating shafts and drive components found across many ARRMA models and compatible RC vehicles. The 10mm outer diameter and 3mm width provide a compact form factor that fits into tight spaces within RC car chassis, suspension systems and motor mounts without adding unnecessary bulk or weight to your model. When properly installed, these bearings will significantly reduce friction losses in your RC car's drivetrain, allowing the motor to operate more efficiently, deliver more power to the wheels, and ultimately improve acceleration, top speed potential and overall driving experience. The sealed design means you can run your RC car in dusty, damp conditions without worrying about bearing contamination, which is particularly valuable for UK-based RC enthusiasts who often battle wet grass, muddy tracks and unpredictable weather conditions. For competitive racing, weekend bashing or casual backyard driving, maintaining your RC car's bearings in top condition is fundamental to consistent performance.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • What does RS mean on ARRMA ball bearings? — RS stands for rubber-sealed, which means these bearings have protective rubber seals on both sides of the bearing race. This design keeps dirt, dust, moisture and other contaminants away from the ball races inside, extending bearing life and maintaining smooth performance even when your RC car is used in dusty or wet conditions outdoors.
  • How often should I replace ball bearings in my RC car? — Ball bearing replacement frequency depends on how heavily you use your RC car. Regular bashers and racers should inspect their bearings every few months and replace them if they feel rough, notchy or don't spin freely by hand. Even if they still function, replacing worn bearings is a cost-effective way to maintain peak performance and can improve your RC car's speed and handling noticeably.
  • Are these bearings compatible with all ARRMA RC cars? — The 6x10x3 size is a standard bearing dimension used in many ARRMA vehicles, but compatibility depends on your specific model. Check your ARRMA user manual or contact RC Model Shop to confirm these bearings will fit your particular vehicle before ordering.
  • What's the advantage of sealed bearings over unsealed ones? — Sealed bearings protect the internal ball races from environmental contamination, which means they stay cleaner longer and maintain their smoothness throughout extended use. Unsealed bearings allow dirt and moisture to enter more easily, which increases friction and accelerates wear. For UK RC enthusiasts who battle wet grass and muddy conditions, sealed bearings are a worthwhile investment in reliability.
  • Can I use these bearings as spares to keep on hand? — Absolutely. Having replacement bearings in your spares box is excellent RC car maintenance practice. When you eventually need them, you'll have them ready to install without waiting for delivery, keeping your RC car in action rather than sidelined during maintenance.
