Overview

The BLH Rear Tail Case for the Blade Fusion 180 is an essential replacement component for anyone flying this popular RC helicopter. Whether you're a seasoned RC enthusiast in the UK or a dedicated Fusion 180 pilot, keeping genuine spare parts on hand is crucial for maintaining your helicopter's performance and reliability. This rear tail case is a critical structural component that houses and protects the tail assembly, and having a quality replacement ensures your model helicopter remains in perfect flying condition after any impacts or crashes.

The Blade Fusion 180 is renowned for its smooth flight characteristics and responsive handling, making it a favourite among RC helicopter pilots across the United Kingdom who demand precision and durability. The tail section is particularly important for maintaining stable, vibration-free flight, and this genuine Blade rear tail case ensures that your helicopter continues to deliver the crisp tail hold and smooth control response that makes the Fusion 180 such an enjoyable model to fly. This component is manufactured to exact Blade specifications, guaranteeing perfect fitment and performance with your existing Fusion 180 airframe.

RC helicopters require regular maintenance and occasional repairs, especially after field flying and practice sessions. Having a spare rear tail case in your field box means you can quickly return to flying without extended downtime. Whether you're rebuilding after a tail strike or performing preventative maintenance on your RC helicopter, this genuine Blade part is the right choice for keeping your Fusion 180 in peak condition.

Key Features

  • Genuine Blade Component — This is an authentic Blade-manufactured part designed specifically for the Fusion 180 helicopter, ensuring it meets the exact specifications and quality standards of the original equipment. Using genuine parts maintains the structural integrity and aerodynamic balance of your helicopter, which directly impacts flight stability and control responsiveness.
  • Perfect Tail Section Replacement — The rear tail case is a critical structural element that houses the tail assembly and provides the rigid support necessary for precise tail control during flight. A damaged or worn tail case compromises control authority and can introduce unwanted vibrations that affect the overall flying experience.
  • Essential Crash Repair Part — Tail strikes and impacts are among the most common accidents in RC helicopter flying, making this rear tail case a practical spare part to have readily available. Keeping this component in your field box alongside other essential spares like main shafts, feathering shafts, and main gears ensures you can quickly repair your Fusion 180 and return to the air without lengthy delays.
  • Maintains Flight Quality — A properly functioning tail case contributes directly to crisp tail hold and vibration-free flight characteristics that define the Fusion 180's excellent handling. Replacing a damaged rear tail case restores your helicopter to factory flight characteristics and control precision.
  • Compatible with Fusion 180 Airframe — This part is engineered for direct fitment with the standard Blade Fusion 180 airframe and main assembly, requiring no modifications or adjustments for installation. Perfect compatibility means installation is straightforward and the part integrates seamlessly with your existing helicopter configuration.

Technical Performance

The Blade Fusion 180 is a compact yet capable brushless RC helicopter that demands high-quality components throughout its structure. The rear tail case is manufactured from durable plastic materials engineered to withstand the stresses of helicopter flight whilst remaining lightweight enough to preserve the model's flight characteristics. The tail case provides essential structural support for the tail assembly, tail boom, and the servo mechanisms that control tail pitch and yaw authority. As an integral part of the Fusion 180's airframe, it works in concert with other components including the tail boom, tail servo boom mount, tail pushrod and guide, and tail rotor assembly. The design accommodates the tail belt system and tail belt guide, allowing smooth transmission of control inputs to the tail rotor. Construction quality is paramount in RC helicopter components because even minor structural issues can create vibrations and control lag that significantly degrade the flying experience. Blade's engineering ensures this rear tail case maintains dimensional accuracy and material strength across repeated flight cycles and landings, providing the reliability that RC pilots in the UK depend on. For optimal performance, regularly inspect the tail case for cracks or damage, and replace it promptly if any structural compromise is detected. Keeping spare tail components in your maintenance kit, as recommended by experienced Fusion 180 pilots, ensures you're always prepared for field repairs and quick turnarounds between flights.
