Technical Performance
The TEAM ASSOCIATED AS7810 represents core suspension geometry components that are critical to your RC10 series vehicle's handling, steering response and overall performance characteristics. These inline steering blocks and rear hub carriers work together to maintain precise wheel alignment and suspension geometry throughout your vehicle's operating envelope. By replacing worn components with genuine Team Associated parts, you restore your RC car to its original engineering specifications, eliminating play, slop and inconsistent steering response that develops through normal wear. Whether you're running your RC10 on the track for competitive racing or bashing in the garden, these components experience constant stress from cornering forces, impacts and suspension articulation. The 0-degree configuration provides the neutral baseline from which all steering and suspension tuning begins, allowing you to dial in your preferred handling characteristics through additional setup adjustments. Using genuine OEM replacement parts ensures dimensional accuracy and material consistency, which is essential when fine-tuning your ready to run RC or race kit vehicle for optimal performance.

Frequently Asked Questions
- What is the difference between steering blocks and hub carriers? — Steering blocks are the components that connect your steering linkage to the front wheels and allow the suspension to articulate, whilst hub carriers (also called wheel hubs) mount at the rear and hold the rear axles and wheels in position. Both work together with the suspension to maintain proper wheel alignment and handling geometry throughout suspension travel.
- Which RC10 models do these fit? — The AS7810 is compatible with RC10DS, RC10T, RC10GT, RC10GB Nitro Buggy, RC10 Brian Kinwald Edition and RC10DS with Rally Body Kit. Always verify your specific model number before ordering to ensure compatibility.
- Why would I need to replace my steering blocks and hub carriers? — Through regular use, racing and the inevitable crashes that come with RC car ownership, these components can develop wear, damage or play that affects steering response and handling. Replacing them with genuine parts restores your vehicle to original specifications and eliminates the sloppy, inconsistent handling that worn parts create.
- Is this suitable for beginners? — These are replacement components rather than a complete vehicle, so they're intended for users who already have an RC10 series model and understand basic RC car maintenance. If you're new to RC cars in the UK, you might want to start with a ready to run RC vehicle first, then learn maintenance and parts replacement as you progress.
- How many pieces come in the AS7810 package? — The AS7810 is supplied as 2 pairs, giving you 4 individual components total, which provides complete coverage for both front and rear steering block and hub carrier replacement, or allows you to maintain a spare set.
- What does zero degree steering geometry mean? — Zero degree configuration is the neutral baseline setting for steering blocks, providing no toe-in adjustment from the factory. This serves as the foundation for all setup and tuning adjustments that follow, allowing you to dial in your preferred steering characteristics through additional modifications.
- Are these genuine Team Associated parts? — Yes, the AS7810 is manufactured by Team Associated to exact original equipment specifications. Using genuine OEM parts ensures perfect fitment, dimensional accuracy and material consistency, which is especially important when maintaining suspension geometry on precision RC vehicles.
