These are not casual bashers' tyres—they are purpose-built for drivers who understand that tyre choice can make the difference between victory and the podium.
Pre-mounted on premium carbon rims and delivered as a pair of rear tyres, these Attack Foam Tyres eliminate the frustration of tyre mounting and gluing, allowing you to get out on the track immediately. The 40-shore hardness compound has been engineered to provide excellent grip across a wide range of track conditions, from smooth indoor carpet to varied outdoor asphalt surfaces. The low tyre wear characteristics mean your investment continues to deliver performance lap after lap, making them an economical choice for serious racers who want consistency without constant replacement.
If you're building or upgrading a 1/10 GP touring RC car for UK racing, Australian competitions, or international events, the Corally Attack Foam Tyres represent trusted, proven performance that has earned recognition among the competitive RC community. Available now at RC Model Shop, these Italian-manufactured tyres are the choice of drivers who refuse to compromise on quality.
Key Features
- Foam Rubber Competition Compound — The tyres are constructed using premium foam rubber technology that delivers exceptional grip levels whilst maintaining durability across extended racing sessions. This is the material choice of choice for serious racers because it balances performance with longevity in ways that standard rubber cannot match.
- 40-Shore Hardness Rating — The 40-degree shore hardness strikes an optimum balance between grip and wear resistance, making these tyres versatile enough for various track conditions whilst maintaining the responsiveness that racing drivers expect. A harder compound would reduce grip; a softer compound would wear too quickly for competitive use.
- Pre-Mounted on Carbon Rims — Rather than purchasing bare tyres and spending hours gluing them to rims, these Attack Foam Tyres arrive already mounted and glued on lightweight carbon rims. This saves you valuable preparation time and ensures professional-quality mounting that you can rely on for consistent performance.
- Lightweight Carbon Rim Construction — The carbon rims are engineered for minimal unsprung weight, which improves suspension response and handling predictability. Carbon material provides excellent rigidity whilst keeping rotational mass to a minimum, a critical factor in competitive 1/10 GP touring where every gram counts.
- 12mm Hex Adapters — Compatible with the standard 12mm hex motor shafts found on virtually all modern 1/10 touring cars, including leading brands like Traxxas, ARRMA, Losi, Team Associated and Xray. This ensures universal fitment across the widest range of RC touring vehicles.
- Zero Offset Design — The 0-offset rim geometry is optimised for 1/10 GP touring specifications, ensuring perfect track width and handling balance. This is precision engineering that manufacturers specify for a reason—incorrect offset can dramatically alter handling characteristics.
- Italian Manufacturing Excellence — Crafted by Team Corally in Italy, these tyres benefit from decades of European racing heritage and manufacturing expertise. Italian RC products have long been recognised for their attention to detail and performance under demanding conditions.
- Reduced Tyre Wear — The foam compound technology extends tyre life compared to standard alternatives, meaning you spend less time replacing tyres and more time racing. Over a season, this delivers significant savings for competitors who run multiple heats and practice sessions.
Technical Performance
The Corally Attack Foam Tyres deliver performance through precision engineering and material science. Each 66mm diameter tyre measures 30mm in width across the contact patch, dimensions optimised for 1/10 GP touring cars where every millimetre affects handling balance and track grip. The foam rubber compound used in these tyres has been specifically developed for the demanding requirements of competitive on-road racing, where consistent grip delivery across multiple heat cycles is essential. Unlike basic trainer-grade tyres, foam compounds provide superior feedback to the driver and maintain their grip characteristics even after extended use. The 40-shore hardness rating has been chosen because it delivers genuine versatility—capable of producing excellent grip on carpet surfaces indoors whilst remaining durable enough for outdoor asphalt tracks where temperature variations and surface inconsistencies demand compound stability. The tyres are delivered pre-mounted and glued to carbon fibre rims, a material chosen specifically because it offers superior stiffness-to-weight ratios compared to aluminium or plastic alternatives. This means less deflection during cornering, more predictable handling, and improved energy transfer from your RC car to the track. The 12mm hex adapters ensure compatibility with the vast majority of 1/10 touring cars currently in use across the UK and internationally, making this a practical upgrade path for existing cars.

Frequently Asked Questions
- Are these foam tyres suitable for both indoor carpet and outdoor asphalt tracks? — Yes. The 40-shore hardness compound has been engineered to deliver excellent grip across a wide range of track conditions. Whilst some racers might prefer slightly softer compounds for pure grip on carpet or slightly harder compounds for maximum durability on rough asphalt, the 40-shore rating offers the most versatile performance across varied surfaces, making it an ideal choice if you race at multiple venues.
- How often will I need to replace these tyres? — The Corally Attack Foam Tyres are engineered with low tyre wear characteristics, meaning they maintain performance through extended racing periods. The exact replacement interval depends on your driving style and track surface, but foam compounds generally outlast standard rubber by a considerable margin. Most competitive drivers can expect several seasons of racing before needing replacement.
- Will these fit my RC touring car? — These tyres are designed for all 1/10 GP touring cars fitted with 12mm hex motor shafts, the industry standard for this class. This includes cars from Traxxas, ARRMA, Losi, Team Associated, Xray and other major manufacturers. If your 1/10 touring car has a 12mm hex drive, these will fit directly.
- What is the difference between the 40-shore and other Corally Attack compounds? — Corally manufactures Attack Foam Tyres in multiple shore hardnesses, with 35-shore being softer and providing slightly more grip, whilst 40-shore (this product) offers better tyre longevity and more balanced performance. The 35-shore variant is typically preferred by racers prioritising pure grip on consistent indoor tracks, whilst 40-shore suits drivers who value versatility and tyre durability across mixed racing conditions.
- Are these tyres pre-glued or will I need to apply adhesive? — The tyres arrive pre-mounted and pre-glued to the carbon rims, ready for immediate use. You will not need any additional gluing or preparation—simply install them on your car and begin racing. This saves considerable preparation time compared to purchasing bare tyres.
- What is the advantage of carbon rims over aluminium or plastic alternatives? — Carbon fibre rims offer superior stiffness whilst remaining significantly lighter than aluminium alternatives. This means reduced unsprung weight (improving suspension response), greater rigidity during cornering (improving handling predictability), and better energy transfer from your chassis to the track. For competitive racing, these advantages translate to faster lap times and more confidence-inspiring handling.
