Key Features
- 42 Shore Foam Compound — The medium hardness rating of 42 Shore strikes an excellent balance between grip and wear resistance, making these tyres ideal for drivers who demand responsive handling without constant tyre replacements during race weekends.
- Pre-Mounted on Carbon Rims — These tyres arrive already mounted and glued to lightweight carbon rims, eliminating the need for time-consuming tyre mounting and gluing procedures and allowing you to get on the track immediately after a simple visual inspection.
- Optimised for 1/10 GP Touring — Specifically designed for 1/10 scale on-road touring cars, these tyres deliver the geometry and grip characteristics that competitive touring car chassis demand for fast, consistent lap times on asphalt surfaces.
- Racing and Competition Grade — Manufactured to Team Corally's racing standards, these tyres are engineered for drivers who take their RC car performance seriously and want equipment that performs at the highest level.
- Excellent Grip Under Various Conditions — The Attack foam compound maintains consistent grip across different track conditions, from freshly prepared surfaces to slightly used asphalt, giving you confidence in your car's handling throughout a race day.
- Low Tyre Wear Design — The carefully engineered compound formulation resists rapid degradation, meaning your tyres will maintain their performance characteristics longer than inferior alternatives, reducing your overall racing costs.
- 12mm Hex Mounting — These rims feature standard 12mm hex adapters, ensuring compatibility with the vast majority of 1/10 scale touring car models available in the UK RC market.
- Zero Offset Rim Configuration — The neutral offset geometry ensures proper suspension geometry and tyre contact patch optimisation for your touring car chassis.
Technical Performance
The Corally Attack Foam Tyres represent genuine racing-quality equipment engineered with precision manufacturing standards. The foam rubber compound at 42 Shore hardness provides the ideal platform for competitive on-road racing, offering measurable advantages over harder tyre options that sacrifice initial grip for extended lifespan. The 26mm width is the standard specification for 1/10 GP touring car front axles, ensuring proper weight distribution and handling characteristics across your vehicle's front end. With a total diameter of 66mm, these tyres deliver the rolling circumference necessary for accurate speedometer calibration and race-accurate telemetry data collection. The pre-mounted configuration on carbon rims eliminates variables introduced by home tyre mounting, ensuring consistent performance straight out of the box. The 12mm hex adapter integrates seamlessly with standard 1/10 touring car drive shafts, whilst the zero offset geometry maintains your chassis's designed suspension geometry for optimal handling balance. Team Corally manufactures these products in Italy, combining European precision engineering with racing expertise. For UK RC car enthusiasts pursuing competitive lap times and reliable performance at touring car events, these tyres represent investment-grade equipment that will deliver tangible performance improvements.

Frequently Asked Questions
- What does 42 Shore hardness mean and why does it matter for my RC touring car? — Shore hardness is a standardised measurement of rubber compound stiffness. The 42 Shore rating places these tyres in the medium-hardness category, offering superior grip compared to harder compounds whilst lasting longer than softer racing slicks. This balance makes them ideal for intermediate to advanced drivers who want competitive lap times without replacing tyres every few races.
- Are these tyres suitable for beginners? — Whilst these tyres are excellent quality, the 42 Shore compound is optimised for drivers with intermediate to advanced skills who can fully utilise the tyre's grip potential. Complete beginners may find softer compound tyres more forgiving, but if you're serious about progressing quickly in RC touring car racing, upgrading to Attack tyres is a smart investment.
- What car do these tyres fit? — These tyres are specifically designed for 1/10 scale GP touring cars with front axles requiring 26mm width tyres and 12mm hex rim adapters. They will fit virtually all mainstream 1/10 touring car platforms available in the UK market, including popular models from brands like Associated, Kyosho, TLR Racing and others. Verify your vehicle uses a 12mm hex drive system before purchasing.
- Why are these pre-glued onto rims rather than loose? — Pre-glued and mounted configuration eliminates setup variables and potential gluing errors that could affect tyre performance. This factory-controlled mounting ensures consistent performance characteristics across multiple sets and saves you several hours of preparation time that you can spend actually racing.
- How do the Attack tyres compare to other Corally foam tyre options? — Team Corally manufactures the Attack foam range in multiple Shore hardness levels, including 35 Shore, 37 Shore, 40 Shore and this 42 Shore version. Softer compounds (35-37 Shore) offer maximum grip but shorter lifespan, whilst harder compounds (42 Shore and above) extend tyre life at the cost of slightly reduced initial grip. The 42 Shore option represents the sweet spot for most competitive drivers seeking balanced performance.
- Can I use these tyres on my transmission-based 1/10 touring car? — Yes, these tyres feature a standard 12mm hex adapter that accommodates belt-driven and gear-driven 1/10 touring car platforms equally well. As long as your vehicle's front axle uses 12mm hex fittings, these tyres will work perfectly.
- Do I need any additional equipment to use these tyres? — No, these tyres arrive pre-mounted and glued to carbon rims with 12mm hex adapters ready to install. Simply inspect them for any shipping damage, fit them to your touring car's front axle and you're ready to race.
