Overview
The Team Losi Racing TLR Shock Seal Bushings, Machined, G3 3.5mm (4) Z-TLR233006 are essential replacement components designed specifically for competitive RC racing vehicles. These precision-engineered shock seal bushings are built to withstand the intense demands of track racing, where constant acceleration, deceleration, and impact forces take their toll on every component of your RC car. Whether you're racing a TLR buggy or truggy on the UK racing circuit, these machined bushings represent genuine OEM parts that have been factory-tested and approved by Team Losi Racing engineers. When you're pushing your RC car to its limits in pursuit of podium finishes, having access to authentic replacement parts is crucial to maintaining performance and reliability.
High-stakes competitive RC racing puts even the toughest, most well-engineered vehicles through constant punishment. Crashing, cartwheeling, and landing hard from jumps all inevitably take their toll on suspension components, including the shock seal bushings that play a vital role in maintaining proper shock function and fluid containment. The stress of competitive RC racing causes unavoidable wear and tear on every part of your RC car, and the shocks are among the most heavily stressed components during high-intensity racing. That's why keeping spare shock seal bushings readily available in your pit box is essential preparation for race day. As an RC enthusiast serious about maintaining your TLR racing vehicle in winning condition, you need genuine TLR parts that fit precisely and perform consistently, and these machined shock seal bushings deliver exactly that level of quality and reliability.
These Shock Seal Bushings are part of Team Losi Racing's comprehensive G3 shock system, which represents the cutting edge of RC suspension design. The 3.5mm specification ensures compatibility with the correct TLR G3 shock platform, and the machined construction provides the precision fit and durability required in competitive racing environments. Rather than searching elsewhere or settling for aftermarket alternatives, sourcing genuine TLR parts directly ensures you won't discover at a critical moment that components won't work properly in your RC buggy or RC truggy. For UK RC racers who demand the best, these machined shock seal bushings are an indispensable maintenance item to keep your pit box well-stocked and your TLR vehicle performing at peak efficiency.

- Precision Machined Construction — The machined design ensures exact tolerances and a perfect fit within the G3 shock system, maintaining proper seal integrity and shock performance throughout your racing season.
- G3 Shock System Compatibility — These bushings are specifically engineered for the G3 generation shock platform used across TLR's 1/8 and 1/10 scale racing vehicles, ensuring seamless integration with your existing suspension setup.
- 3.5mm Specification — The 3.5mm diameter provides the correct fit for your TLR G3 shocks, maintaining the precise engineering tolerances that professional RC racing demands.
- Pack of Four Bushings — This set includes four bushings, providing you with replacement parts for all four shocks on your RC buggy or truggy, or keeping spares in your pit kit for emergencies during racing events.
- Essential Maintenance Component — Shock seal bushings experience wear from vibration and impact forces during racing, and these replacements help maintain proper seal function and prevent fluid leakage that could compromise shock performance.
- Factory-Tested Performance — Every TLR part has been used and successfully tested by TLR factory drivers under competition conditions, meaning you're getting components proven to perform at the highest levels of RC racing.
Technical Performance
These machined shock seal bushings are engineered to exacting standards that reflect the demands of modern competitive RC racing. The machined construction process delivers precise dimensional accuracy that ensures proper fitment within the G3 shock platform, eliminating gaps and misalignment that could compromise seal effectiveness or allow fluid leakage. The 3.5mm diameter specification is the correct size for TLR G3 shocks, and the materials selected provide durability against the constant vibration and stress that RC suspension systems experience during high-speed racing manoeuvres. The G3 shock system itself represents Team Losi's advanced suspension engineering, and these seal bushings are critical components that maintain the integrity of the entire shock assembly. When combined with other G3 shock components such as shock pistons, seal sets, and shock bodies, these bushings ensure that your suspension system functions as a cohesive unit, delivering consistent performance lap after lap. The machined process, as opposed to stamped or cast alternatives, allows for tighter tolerances and superior material consistency, which directly translates to longer service life and more predictable handling characteristics during competitive racing.

Frequently Asked Questions
- What are shock seal bushings and why do I need to replace them? — Shock seal bushings are small precision components that work within your shock assembly to maintain proper seal alignment and fluid containment. During competitive RC racing, constant impacts, vibration, and the stress of aggressive driving causes these bushings to wear over time. Replacing worn bushings helps maintain proper seal function, prevents fluid leakage, and ensures your shocks continue to deliver consistent damping performance throughout your racing season.
- Are these compatible with all TLR shocks? — These bushings are specifically designed for TLR G3 shocks in the 3.5mm specification. They are compatible with Team Losi Racing G3 shock platforms across their 1/8 and 1/10 scale racing vehicle range. Always verify your shock platform and size before purchasing to ensure compatibility with your specific TLR vehicle model.
- How often should I replace shock seal bushings on my RC racing car? — Replacement frequency depends on your racing intensity and conditions. Competitive racers who run multiple heats and practice sessions frequently should inspect bushings regularly and replace them as part of routine maintenance, typically keeping spare sets in their pit kit. Casual racers may find that bushings last longer, but having spares readily available ensures you're never caught without essential maintenance items during a race event.
- Can I use these bushings on RC cars other than TLR vehicles? — These bushings are engineered specifically for TLR G3 shocks and are not universal components. Using them on non-TLR shocks may result in improper fit and compromised performance. For maximum reliability and performance, always use genuine TLR parts on TLR racing vehicles.
- Why should I buy genuine Team Losi Racing parts instead of aftermarket alternatives? — Genuine TLR parts are designed and tested by the engineers who built your vehicle, ensuring perfect fit, optimal performance, and reliability when it matters most. Factory-tested components mean you won't discover at a critical moment during a race that parts don't work properly. Choosing authentic Team Losi Racing parts for your TLR vehicle eliminates guesswork and provides the consistency professional racers depend upon.
- Are these suitable for beginners? — These are replacement maintenance components designed primarily for racers who already own a TLR G3 shock-equipped vehicle. Beginners should start with a complete ready-to-run RC car and familiarise themselves with basic operation and maintenance before diving into shock component replacement. However, once you progress to competitive racing, understanding shock maintenance and having spares like these bushings readily available becomes essential.
- What is the difference between machined and non-machined shock bushings? — Machined shock bushings, like these TLR components, are precision-manufactured to exact tolerances, ensuring superior fit and consistency. This manufacturing process allows for tighter tolerances, better material consistency, and longer service life compared to stamped or cast alternatives. In competitive racing where performance margins are measured in milliseconds, the precision of machined components directly impacts suspension reliability and handling characteristics.
