Key Features
- Linear Long Throw Design — The linear response curve and extended throw range provide maximum control authority and precision, ensuring your helicopter responds exactly as you input commands with no dead zones or inconsistencies that could compromise flight safety or performance.
- Nano-Scale Construction — Engineered specifically for micro helicopter applications, this servo is compact enough to fit in tight spaces without adding unnecessary weight that would affect your helicopter's flight characteristics and battery runtime.
- Spektrum Quality Engineering — Built by Spektrum, a brand trusted by RC pilots across the UK and worldwide, this servo undergoes rigorous testing to ensure reliability and longevity even with frequent use and demanding manoeuvres.
- Precision CP S Compatibility — The Nano CP S designation means this servo is specifically optimised for cyclic pitch swashplate helicopters, delivering the smooth, responsive control that these aircraft demand for stable hovering and acrobatic flight.
- Drop-In Replacement Spare — If your existing servo has failed or you're upgrading your helicopter's control system, this servo serves as a direct replacement, allowing you to get back in the air quickly without extensive modifications.
- Professional-Grade Reliability — Spektrum servos are chosen by competitive RC helicopter pilots who cannot afford mid-flight failures, giving you confidence that your servo will perform consistently flight after flight.
Technical Performance
The BLH H2028L Heli Servo represents the pinnacle of nano-scale servo engineering for RC helicopters. Spektrum has designed this servo with precision manufacturing techniques to deliver smooth, linear response across its entire throw range, eliminating the inconsistencies found in lesser servos. The servo's construction utilises high-quality materials and precision gearing to ensure minimal backlash, which is critical for helicopter flight control where even tiny imprecisions can result in unwanted drift or oscillation. The Linear Long Throw design extends the control range beyond standard servos, giving you greater authority over your helicopter's attitude and providing better resolution for fine control inputs. This is particularly important for micro helicopters like the Blade Nano S3, where precise cyclic pitch control directly translates to stable hovering and smooth acrobatic performance. The Nano-scale dimensions ensure this servo fits within the compact airframes of modern micro helicopters without adding significant weight. Whether you're flying in calm indoor conditions or battling outdoor wind gusts, this servo delivers the responsiveness and reliability that RC helicopter pilots demand. Built to Spektrum's exacting standards and backed by their reputation for quality, the BLH H2028L is engineered for longevity and consistent performance even with intensive use.

Frequently Asked Questions
- Is the BLH H2028L suitable for micro RC helicopters like the Blade Nano S3? — Yes, this servo is specifically designed for Blade Nano S3 and other nano-scale CP (cyclic pitch) helicopters. The Nano CP S designation confirms its optimisation for these compact, precision aircraft.
- What does Linear Long Throw mean on an RC servo? — Linear response means the servo's control output is proportional and consistent across its entire range, with no dead zones or lag. Long Throw refers to the extended control range, which gives you greater authority over your helicopter's movements and better resolution for fine control inputs during hovering and acrobatic flight.
- Can I use this servo as a replacement for my existing helicopter servo? — The BLH H2028L is designed as a drop-in replacement for compatible Blade Nano S3 and similar helicopters. Always verify compatibility with your specific helicopter model before purchasing.
- Why should I choose Spektrum over cheaper servo alternatives? — Spektrum is a recognised leader in RC electronics with decades of engineering experience. Their servos undergo rigorous quality control and testing, ensuring reliability and consistency that cheaper alternatives cannot match. For helicopter flying, where precision control directly impacts safety and performance, Spektrum servos are the trusted choice of competitive pilots and serious enthusiasts across the UK.
- What is the difference between the BLH H2028L and standard helicopter servos? — The Linear Long Throw design provides superior precision and extended control range compared to standard servos. The nano-scale construction is optimised specifically for micro helicopters, delivering better weight efficiency and reliability in compact airframes where space is severely limited.
- Is this servo compatible with all RC receivers? — This servo uses standard RC servo connectors and is compatible with Spektrum receivers and other RC systems using standard servo protocols. Always verify connector type compatibility with your specific receiver before purchasing.
