This genuine E-flite part is a standard fitment across multiple Carbon-Z variants, making it a versatile addition to your spares collection.
For RC aeroplane enthusiasts across the UK, maintaining your aircraft with quality genuine parts is crucial for consistent performance and safety. The Carbon-Z Cub and Carbon-Z Cessna 150 represent some of the most popular balsa-style RC aircraft available, and the propeller shaft is a critical component that directly affects how power from your motor is transmitted to the propeller. This replacement shaft is manufactured to E-flite's exacting standards, ensuring perfect compatibility and reliable operation every time you fly. Whether you're a seasoned RC pilot or someone relatively new to the hobby, keeping spare parts like this on hand is simply good aircraft maintenance practice.
RC Model Shop stocks this genuine E-flite spare as part of our comprehensive range of Carbon-Z parts and upgrades. We understand that RC aircraft operators need reliable access to quality replacement components, which is why we maintain stock of the parts most commonly needed for popular models. The propeller shaft may seem like a small component, but it plays a vital role in the overall health and performance of your aircraft, making this an important spare to have available.
Key Features
- Genuine E-flite Part — This is an official E-flite component manufactured to the same standards as the original equipment fitted to new aircraft, ensuring perfect fit, finish and reliability every time you need to replace a worn or damaged shaft.
- Standard Fitment Component — Classified as a standard part rather than an optional upgrade, the propeller shaft is a core component designed to be regularly maintained and replaced as part of normal aircraft upkeep, making this a practical addition to any RC pilot's spares box.
- Wide Model Compatibility — This single part number works across multiple Carbon-Z variants, including the Carbon-Z Cub and Carbon-Z Cessna 150 in various configurations (BNF Basic, PNP and BNF variants with AS3X and SAFE Select technology), providing excellent value as a universal spare.
- Quick Replacement — When your propeller shaft shows signs of wear or damage, having this spare on hand means you can restore your aircraft to full working order in minutes rather than waiting for new parts to arrive, keeping your flying schedule on track.
- Critical Power Transfer Component — The propeller shaft is responsible for translating motor power directly into propeller rotation; maintaining this component in excellent condition ensures smooth, vibration-free operation and optimal flight performance.
Technical Performance
The propeller shaft is a precision-engineered component that sits at the heart of the power transmission system on your Carbon-Z aircraft. This part is responsible for connecting your motor's output directly to the propeller, making it essential for converting electrical power into rotational force that generates thrust. As a wear item in regular use, the shaft can develop damage from impacts, hard landings or general fatigue over time. The E-flite propeller shaft is manufactured to exacting tolerances, ensuring smooth rotation and eliminating vibration that could otherwise affect flight characteristics or damage nearby components. By maintaining this part in good condition, you preserve the efficiency of your entire power system and keep your aircraft flying smoothly. The shaft is compatible with the full range of Carbon-Z Cub variants (including the standard 2.1m model and the SS variant with advanced stability systems) as well as all Carbon-Z Cessna 150 models in both BNF Basic and PNP configurations, and the Cessna 150T turbocharged variant. This broad compatibility makes it an excellent spare to stock if you operate multiple aircraft or fly frequently.
