Overview

The Axial Rod Ends Angled M4 (10) RBX10 is an essential suspension component for the Axial RBX10 Ryft 1/10 4WD RTR platform. These angled rod ends are critical replacement parts designed specifically for the RBX10 Ryft range, ensuring that your RC crawler or rock crawler maintains precise suspension geometry and responsive handling across all terrain types. Whether you're a dedicated RC hobbyist looking to maintain your vehicle in peak condition or an experienced basher who demands reliability from every component, these genuine Axial spares represent the engineering quality and precision you expect from a recognised manufacturer.

Rod ends are fundamental to any RC car's suspension system, connecting the suspension links to the chassis and chassis-mounted components. The M4 specification indicates the thread size, making these parts directly compatible with the RBX10 Ryft platform. The angled design ensures optimal suspension travel and articulation, allowing your RC model to navigate challenging terrain with improved traction and stability. Keeping spare rod ends in your workshop is a smart investment for any RC enthusiast in the UK who wants to minimise downtime and keep their RBX10 Ryft running smoothly between maintenance cycles.

This pack contains ten individual rod ends, providing you with multiple spares so you can rotate parts, replace worn components, or keep backups ready for track days and outdoor bashing sessions. The quantity makes this an economical solution compared to purchasing single units, and it's a practical choice for competitive RC enthusiasts who understand the importance of having quality spare parts on hand.

Key Features

  • M4 Thread Specification — The M4 sizing ensures perfect compatibility with the Axial RBX10 Ryft suspension system, with no fitment issues or modifications required. This precision engineering means you can swap parts with confidence and spend more time driving and less time troubleshooting.
  • Angled Design — The angled geometry is specifically engineered for the RBX10 Ryft platform to optimise suspension kinematics and articulation. This design choice directly impacts how your suspension responds to bumps, rocks, and uneven terrain, improving overall handling characteristics.
  • Pack of Ten Units — With ten rod ends included in a single purchase, you gain excellent value and have multiple spares available. This generous quantity means you can maintain several vehicles, share with fellow RC enthusiasts, or keep a well-stocked spare parts inventory without needing to make repeat purchases.
  • Genuine Axial Parts — These are authentic Axial components manufactured to the same specifications and quality standards as the original equipment supplied with your RBX10 Ryft. Genuine parts ensure longevity, reliable performance, and proper fitment with zero compatibility concerns.
  • Suspension System Compatibility — Rod ends are critical suspension components that connect your suspension links and control arms to the chassis. High-quality rod ends maintain precise suspension geometry, which translates to better handling, improved traction, and more predictable vehicle behaviour across varied RC terrains.

Technical Performance

Rod ends are precision engineering components that deserve serious consideration when maintaining your RC car. The M4 specification refers to the internal thread diameter, which must match exactly with the corresponding studs and mounting points on your RBX10 Ryft platform. Axial has engineered these components to maintain tight tolerances and smooth articulation, essential characteristics for a suspension system that must cope with the demands of off-road driving. The angled design is not merely aesthetic—it directly influences suspension geometry angles, ensuring that your suspension links maintain optimal angles throughout their full range of travel. This attention to detail in the design prevents binding, reduces friction, and allows for smoother, more responsive suspension action. Materials selection is critical in rod end construction, as these parts experience constant stress cycles during driving. Axial's manufacturing process produces components that can withstand the rigorous demands of RC driving, from gentle weekend cruises to aggressive bashing sessions. When rod ends wear or become damaged, suspension geometry degrades, leading to poor handling, tyre wear patterns, and reduced overall vehicle performance. Replacing worn rod ends with quality Axial spares restores your suspension to factory specifications and ensures your RBX10 Ryft performs as intended by the engineers who designed it.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Which Axial RC models are these rod ends compatible with? — These angled M4 rod ends are designed specifically for the Axial RBX10 Ryft 1/10 4WD RTR platform. The pack includes compatibility information confirming fitment with both the Orange (C-AXI03005T1) and Black (C-AXI03005T2) versions of the RBX10 Ryft. If you own a different Axial model, you should verify the model number before purchasing, as rod end specifications vary across Axial's extensive product range.
  • Why do I need spare rod ends for my RC crawler? — Rod ends are wear items that experience constant stress during RC driving. Replacement becomes necessary when rod ends develop play in their joints, become stripped, or sustain damage from impacts. By keeping spare rod ends readily available, you ensure minimal downtime and can quickly restore your vehicle to optimum condition. For serious RC enthusiasts and competitive drivers, having spares is simply part of responsible vehicle maintenance.
  • What is the difference between angled and straight rod ends? — Angled rod ends feature a specific geometry that matches the suspension design of your vehicle, optimising the suspension kinematics and ensuring proper angles throughout the suspension's range of motion. Straight rod ends serve different purposes in different applications. For the RBX10 Ryft, the angled specification is the correct choice as specified by Axial's engineering team.
  • How often should I replace rod ends on my RC car? — The replacement frequency depends entirely on how intensively you drive and the terrain you tackle. A weekend hobbyist might replace rod ends annually, whilst a competitive driver using the vehicle daily might need replacements every few months. Visual inspection regularly for play, looseness, or damage will indicate when replacement is necessary. The generous ten-unit pack ensures you won't run out of spares during an active RC season.
  • Can I use these on other Axial models? — No, rod end specifications are model-specific and the M4 angled design is engineered for the RBX10 Ryft platform. Attempting to use incompatible rod ends will result in poor fitment, suspension geometry issues, and potentially unsafe driving conditions. Always verify that spare parts match your specific model before purchase.
