Overview

The BLH FBL Links for the Blade InFusion 180 and InFusion 120 represent an essential upgrade component for serious RC helicopter enthusiasts in the UK. These flybarless links are precision-engineered spare parts designed to maintain optimal performance and stability in your Blade InFusion fleet. Whether you're an experienced RC pilot or building up your collection of genuine Blade components, these FBL links are a critical part of keeping your helicopter flying at its best and ensuring reliable, responsive control during flight operations.

Flybarless (FBL) technology has revolutionised RC helicopter flying, eliminating the mechanical flybar stabilisation system in favour of electronic stabilisation through the flight control system. The quality of your FBL links directly impacts the precision of blade movement and overall aircraft stability. By choosing genuine Blade FBL Links, you're investing in authentic engineering designed specifically for the InFusion platform, ensuring perfect compatibility and performance characteristics that aftermarket alternatives cannot replicate.

RC Model Shop stocks a comprehensive range of Blade InFusion spares and upgrades, and we're proud to supply these crucial FBL links to helicopter pilots across the UK. Our customers trust us for genuine Blade components because we understand that reliability matters when you're flying. These links work in perfect harmony with the rest of your InFusion system, whether you're flying the larger InFusion 180 or the more compact InFusion 120 model.

Key Features

  • Genuine Blade Engineering — These FBL links are manufactured by Blade, the original equipment manufacturer (OEM), ensuring they meet exact factory specifications and integrate seamlessly with your InFusion flight control system without modification or adjustment issues.
  • Flybarless Compatibility — Specifically designed for flybarless helicopter systems, these links work with the electronic flight control unit to translate stick inputs into precise blade pitch and cyclic movements for stable, responsive flight characteristics.
  • Precision Construction — The links are engineered to exacting tolerances, ensuring smooth operation and eliminating play or slack in the control linkages that could otherwise compromise flight stability and control response.
  • Dual Model Support — A single part number works with both the Blade InFusion 180 and the smaller Blade InFusion 120, providing flexibility and simplifying your spare parts inventory.
  • Durable Design — Built to withstand the demands of regular flying, these FBL links maintain their dimensional accuracy and smooth action through countless flight hours, reducing vibration and extending the service life of related components.
  • Essential Maintenance Part — Spare FBL links are a critical item to keep in your flight box, as they can wear or be damaged in hard landings or crashes, and having spares on hand prevents flight delays.

Technical Performance

The BLH FBL Links represent Blade's commitment to precision engineering in the RC helicopter market. These components are manufactured to tight tolerances that ensure perfect alignment and smooth operation within the InFusion's flybarless control system. The links serve as the mechanical connection between the flight control unit's servo outputs and the main rotor swashplate, translating electronic control signals into precise blade pitch and cyclic adjustments. Built from high-quality materials, the links are designed to resist wear whilst maintaining the dimensional stability essential for accurate control response. Their engineering reflects Blade's reputation for quality RC helicopter products, with materials and construction methods that meet the demands of regular flying. The InFusion 120 is a popular RC helicopter platform in the UK, and genuine Blade spare components like these FBL links ensure your helicopter maintains factory performance standards. Whether you're replacing worn links or building up a spare parts kit, these components are engineered to deliver the reliable performance that Blade pilots expect.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • What are FBL links and why do I need spares? — FBL (flybarless) links are mechanical components that connect your flight control system to the main rotor swashplate, transmitting control inputs to the blades. They're subject to wear and can be damaged in crashes or hard landings. Keeping spare FBL links in your flight box ensures you can get back in the air quickly without waiting for parts to arrive, especially important for serious RC helicopter pilots in the UK who fly regularly.
  • Will these BLH7004 links work on both InFusion models? — Yes, the BLH7004 part number is compatible with both the Blade InFusion 180 and the Blade InFusion 120, making them a versatile spare part if you operate multiple InFusion helicopters.
  • How often should I replace my FBL links? — With normal flying, FBL links can last a considerable time, but you should inspect them regularly for wear or damage. After a crash, inspect them carefully and replace if bent or cracked. Many experienced UK RC helicopter pilots keep spare sets as routine maintenance items, checking gear mesh and balancing components regularly to extend component life.
  • Are these genuine Blade parts? — Yes, the BLH7004 is the genuine Blade part number for InFusion flybarless links. Ordering from RC Model Shop ensures you receive authentic Blade components manufactured to original equipment specifications, not aftermarket alternatives.
  • What tools do I need to install these links? — Installation typically requires basic hex keys and screwdrivers. Blade's instruction manual (BLH6950) for the InFusion 120 provides detailed guidance. Always use medium threadlock compound on metal-to-metal screws to prevent vibration-induced loosening during flight.
