Technical Performance
The Blade Tail Belt Guide for the Fusion 180 is engineered as a precision component within the helicopter's tail drive system. The tail belt guide functions to maintain proper alignment and tension in the tail belt, which transmits rotational force from the main drive system to the tail rotor via the tail shaft and pulley assembly. This critical alignment ensures that the tail belt runs without slipping or excessive wear, maintaining the efficient power delivery necessary for responsive tail control. The component is manufactured from durable materials selected to withstand the mechanical stresses and vibrations inherent in helicopter flight, whilst remaining lightweight enough not to compromise the overall weight distribution and balance characteristics of the Fusion 180 airframe. When properly installed as part of a complete tail assembly alongside components such as the tail boom, tail shaft with pulley, and tail servo boom mount, this guide contributes to vibration-free operation and crisp tail hold authority. Regular inspection of the tail belt guide, along with related components like the tail belt itself and tail grip bearing set, is recommended as part of preventative maintenance routines to ensure consistent performance and extend the operational life of your Fusion 180 helicopter.
