Overview
The Blade Washout Mixing Arms for the Fusion 360 helicopter represent an essential replacement component for maintaining optimal flight performance and control responsiveness. These precision-engineered mixing arms are designed specifically for the Blade Fusion 360 platform, one of the most popular and reliable RC helicopters available in the UK market today. Whether you're a seasoned RC helicopter pilot or someone looking to keep your Fusion 360 in peak condition, these washout mixing arms are a critical maintenance and upgrade component that ensures your helicopter maintains the flight characteristics and control precision you depend on.
Washout mixing arms are fundamental to helicopter control systems, playing a crucial role in translating pilot input from the transmitter into precise blade pitch changes and cyclic control movements. When these components wear, become damaged, or show signs of wear from regular flight operations, replacing them restores the helicopter's responsiveness and ensures that your control inputs are faithfully reproduced in flight. The Blade Washout Mixing Arms: Fusion 360 are genuine OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) components sourced directly from Blade, the manufacturer trusted by RC helicopter enthusiasts across the UK and worldwide. This means you're getting parts that match the exact specifications and engineering standards of your original helicopter, ensuring compatibility and performance.
For RC enthusiasts in the UK looking to maintain their Fusion 360 helicopter or upgrade their control system after damage, these washout mixing arms offer outstanding value and reliability. RC Model Shop stocks these genuine Blade components as part of our comprehensive range of Fusion 360 spares and upgrades, ensuring that you can find everything you need to keep your helicopter flying at its best.

Technical Performance
The Blade Washout Mixing Arms: Fusion 360 are precision-engineered components that form a critical part of the Fusion 360 helicopter's swashplate and control linkage system. These arms work in conjunction with the swashplate assembly to translate cyclic control inputs from your Spektrum transmitter into precise blade pitch changes across the main rotor disc. The engineering of washout mixing arms directly affects control linearity, response speed, and overall flight stability. Blade's manufacturing standards ensure that these components are produced to tight tolerances, which is essential for maintaining the predictable control response that the Fusion 360 is renowned for. Whether you're flying basic stabilised flight with the SAFE flight envelope protection system or attempting advanced 3D aerobatics, properly functioning washout mixing arms are essential. These genuine Blade components are compatible with all Fusion 360 variants, including the BNF Basic model with SAFE technology and the advanced Smart BNF Basic variant. The materials used in these arms are selected for their combination of strength and durability, capable of handling the stresses of hundreds of flight hours whilst maintaining their mechanical integrity. Regular inspection and timely replacement of worn washout mixing arms is part of responsible RC helicopter maintenance and will help ensure that your Fusion 360 delivers consistent, predictable handling throughout its operational life.

Frequently Asked Questions
- What are washout mixing arms and why do I need them for my Fusion 360? — Washout mixing arms are mechanical components in your helicopter's control system that translate cyclic (tilt) control inputs from your transmitter into blade pitch changes. They're essential for precise control response. Over time, these parts can wear out or become damaged during crashes, reducing control responsiveness. Replacing them restores your helicopter's handling characteristics to factory specification.
- Will these Blade washout mixing arms fit my Fusion 360 helicopter? — Yes, these arms are genuine OEM Blade components specifically designed for the Fusion 360 platform. They are compatible with both the Blade Fusion 360 BNF Basic with SAFE and the Blade Fusion 360 Smart BNF Basic with SAFE variants.
- Are these genuine Blade parts or aftermarket alternatives? — These are genuine, authentic Blade components sourced directly from Horizon Hobby. They are not aftermarket or third-party alternatives. Genuine Blade parts maintain your helicopter's original performance characteristics and are engineered to exact factory specifications.
- How difficult is it to install washout mixing arms on my Fusion 360? — Installation requires basic mechanical skill and familiarity with helicopter assembly. RC Model Shop stocks the official Fusion 360 manual, which includes detailed assembly and maintenance instructions. Many UK RC helicopter enthusiasts perform this maintenance themselves, though your local RC shop or flying club may offer installation assistance if needed.
- How often should I replace my washout mixing arms? — Under normal flying conditions, washout mixing arms last for many flight hours. However, they should be inspected regularly for wear or damage, particularly after crashes or hard landings. If you notice reduced control responsiveness or play in the control linkage, replacement may be necessary.
- What other Fusion 360 spares do you stock alongside the washout mixing arms? — RC Model Shop stocks a comprehensive range of genuine Blade Fusion 360 spares including main blade sets, swashplate assemblies, main rotor headblocks, tail components, bearing blocks, shafts, and hardware packs. We also supply compatible Spektrum receivers, servos, and control systems that work perfectly with the Fusion 360 platform.
