Overview
The BLH Main Grip Set (2): Fusion 360 Z-BLH5202 is an essential genuine spare part for owners of the Blade Fusion 360 RC helicopter. Whether you're a dedicated RC enthusiast in the UK looking to maintain your aircraft in peak condition or a pilot who has experienced a crash and needs replacement components, this authentic Blade main grip set is the perfect solution. Designed specifically for the Fusion 360 platform, these main grips are engineered to maintain the precise flight characteristics and responsiveness you expect from your helicopter, ensuring optimal performance every time you take to the skies.
Main grips are critical components in any RC helicopter's main rotor system, responsible for securing and controlling the main rotor blades whilst allowing them to respond accurately to your transmitter inputs. Over time, through regular use or following impact damage, these grips can become worn, damaged or misaligned, which directly impacts your helicopter's ability to fly smoothly and respond predictably to control inputs. This genuine Blade replacement set includes two main grips, providing everything you need to restore your Fusion 360 to its original factory condition and flight characteristics.
As part of Blade's comprehensive range of genuine Fusion 360 spares and upgrades available through RC Model Shop, this part represents the highest quality standard for RC helicopter maintenance. Genuine Blade components are engineered to exact specifications and maintain the flight dynamics you expect, unlike aftermarket alternatives that may compromise performance or durability. Whether you're performing routine maintenance, replacing worn components, or rebuilding your helicopter after an accident, choosing genuine Blade parts ensures you're investing in reliability and continued flying enjoyment.
Key Features
- Genuine Blade Manufacturing — This main grip set is manufactured by Blade, the original equipment maker for the Fusion 360 helicopter, ensuring perfect fitment and compatibility with your aircraft. Genuine parts maintain the exact specifications your helicopter was designed around, guaranteeing consistent flight performance and handling characteristics.
- Set of Two Grips — This package includes two main grips, which is the complete set required for the Fusion 360's main rotor system. Having a complete matched pair ensures balanced performance and eliminates the risk of inconsistent blade behaviour caused by mismatched components.
- Replacement and Upgrade Capability — These grips serve both as replacement parts following damage or wear and as upgrade components for pilots looking to refresh their helicopter's main rotor system. Whether you're restoring a damaged aircraft or performing preventative maintenance, this set gives you the flexibility you need.
- Critical Flight System Component — Main grips are fundamental to your helicopter's control system, directly affecting how your aircraft responds to pitch, roll and collective inputs. Replacing worn or damaged grips can restore lost precision and improve your helicopter's overall flight characteristics.
- Compatible with Fusion 360 Platform — Specifically engineered for the Blade Fusion 360 RC helicopter, these grips are guaranteed to integrate seamlessly with your aircraft's main rotor headblock, swashplate and control linkages without requiring any modification or adaptation.
Technical Performance
The BLH5202 main grip set represents Blade's commitment to precision engineering in RC helicopter design. As critical components within the Fusion 360's main rotor assembly, these grips must withstand significant mechanical stress whilst maintaining perfect alignment and responsiveness. The main grips connect the swashplate control mechanism to the main rotor blades, translating your transmitter inputs into precise blade pitch changes that control your helicopter's altitude, direction and speed. Manufactured to exact tolerances, genuine Blade grips ensure that your aircraft maintains the flight stability and control precision it was designed to deliver. The two-grip configuration provides balanced control inputs and eliminates the vibration and handling issues that can occur when grips become loose, cracked or worn. Whether you're flying indoors in confined spaces or outdoors in open fields, properly maintained main grips ensure your Fusion 360 responds predictably and reliably to every control input, giving you the confidence to push your flying skills further. These components integrate perfectly with the Fusion 360's main rotor headblock (BLH5204), swashplate (BLH5206) and main shaft (BLH5210), forming part of a carefully engineered main rotor system.

Frequently Asked Questions
- What are main grips and why do I need them for my RC helicopter? — Main grips are the mechanical components that connect your helicopter's swashplate to the main rotor blades, translating control inputs into blade pitch changes. Without properly functioning grips, your helicopter cannot respond accurately to your transmitter commands. If your grips are cracked, loose or worn, your helicopter will suffer from sluggish controls, inconsistent response and potential flight instability. Replacing them restores your aircraft's responsiveness and safety.
- How do I know if my main grips need replacement? — Signs that your main grips may need replacement include sluggish or unresponsive control inputs, vibration during flight, inconsistent blade behaviour, visible cracks or damage to the grip components, or difficulty maintaining stable flight attitude. If you've recently crashed your helicopter or suspect damage to the main rotor system, inspecting and potentially replacing the main grips is a sensible maintenance step.
- Will these grips fit my Fusion 360 helicopter? — Yes, the BLH5202 main grip set is specifically engineered for the Blade Fusion 360 RC helicopter. These are genuine Blade components that integrate perfectly with the Fusion 360's main rotor headblock, swashplate and control linkages. Always verify your helicopter model and consult your manual to ensure you have the correct variant before ordering.
- What other main rotor components might I need alongside these grips? — Depending on the extent of damage or wear, you may also need to consider other main rotor system components such as the main rotor headblock (BLH5204), swashplate (BLH5206), washout mixing arms (BLH5203), damper set (BLH5205), or main shaft (BLH5210). The main rotor system is an integrated assembly, and if you've experienced significant impact damage, multiple components may have been affected. Consulting the interactive exploded view diagram for your Fusion 360 or speaking with our experienced team can help you identify all components that need attention.
- Are these better than aftermarket alternatives? — Genuine Blade components like this main grip set are engineered to the exact specifications your Fusion 360 was designed around. Aftermarket alternatives may offer cost savings but often cannot guarantee the same level of precision, durability or performance. For critical control system components like main grips that directly affect your helicopter's flight characteristics and safety, investing in genuine Blade parts is the sensible choice for UK RC enthusiasts who value reliability and consistent performance.
