Key Features
- Genuine Blade Component — This is an authentic Blade factory part manufactured to the exact specifications required for the 300X main rotor system, ensuring perfect compatibility and maintaining the helicopter's original performance characteristics. Using genuine parts rather than aftermarket alternatives guarantees that your aircraft will perform exactly as the engineers at Blade intended.
- Precision Bearing Assembly — The bearing kit contains precision-engineered components that enable smooth rotation of the main rotor grip mechanism, which is essential for responsive control input and stable flight behaviour. Quality bearings reduce friction and play in the system, directly translating to more predictable and controlled flight performance.
- Direct Blade 300X Compatibility — This kit is specifically designed for the Blade 300X helicopter, ensuring a perfect fit and function without modification or adaptation. Using model-specific parts eliminates the guesswork and potential fitment issues that can arise from using generic or cross-compatible components.
- Crash Repair Essential — The main grip bearing assembly frequently requires replacement after impacts or hard landings, making this kit one of the essential spares to keep on hand. Having genuine replacement bearings available means you can quickly return your helicopter to the air without extended downtime.
- Restoration and Maintenance — Whether you're refreshing your helicopter after extended use or restoring it to original condition, this bearing kit allows you to replace worn components and restore the precision that new aircraft possess, ensuring your 300X continues to perform at its best.
Technical Performance
The BLH Main Grip Bearing Kit represents the engineering quality that distinguishes genuine Blade components from aftermarket alternatives. The bearing assembly is manufactured to tight tolerances using quality materials that withstand the significant rotational forces generated by the main rotor system in flight. Blade 300X owners rely on this component to translate control inputs from the swashplate through to the main rotor blades with minimal delay or play. The precision of the bearing surfaces directly impacts the helicopter's ability to execute precise manoeuvres and maintain stable hovering characteristics. In the demanding environment of RC helicopter flight, where vibration and rotational forces are constant, the durability and precision of bearing components become critical to both performance and longevity. Genuine Blade parts are engineered to handle these conditions reliably, providing the consistency and precision that experienced RC helicopter pilots demand from their aircraft. The bearing kit is designed as a complete assembly, allowing straightforward installation and ensuring that all components work together as originally engineered without compatibility concerns.

Frequently Asked Questions
- Is the BLH Main Grip Bearing Kit compatible with my Blade 300X? — Yes, this kit is specifically engineered for the Blade 300X helicopter. Always verify that you are working with the correct model before ordering replacement parts, as the Blade range includes multiple similar models with different components. The Blade manual or parts diagram for your specific helicopter will confirm that this is the correct bearing assembly for your aircraft.
- When do I need to replace the main grip bearing assembly? — The bearing kit should be replaced if you experience play or looseness in the main rotor head, after a hard landing or crash that impacts the rotor assembly, or as part of routine maintenance if you notice any degradation in control responsiveness. Worn bearings can introduce slop into the control system, reducing precision and making the helicopter harder to fly smoothly.
- How difficult is it to install this bearing kit? — Installation complexity depends on your mechanical experience and familiarity with helicopter assembly. The Blade 230S V2 and 300X share many components and assembly principles. If you're comfortable working with RC helicopters and have your model's assembly manual, you should be able to perform the installation. If you're uncertain, RC Model Shop can provide guidance or recommend a local hobby shop that offers installation services.
- Why choose genuine Blade parts instead of aftermarket alternatives? — Genuine Blade components are engineered specifically for your helicopter and manufactured to the exact specifications that the designers determined would provide optimal performance and reliability. Aftermarket parts may appear similar but can have tolerances or materials that don't match the original engineering, potentially affecting flight characteristics or durability. Genuine parts come with the confidence that they will integrate seamlessly with your existing helicopter.
- Is this part likely to be in stock at RC Model Shop? — The BLH Main Grip Bearing Kit is held in Shadow Stock, meaning we can typically source it quickly even if immediate in-store availability is limited.
