Overview

The BLH Servo Arms with Linkage Balls (Z-BLH1511) are essential genuine spare parts designed specifically for the Blade 230 S RC helicopter. Whether you're repairing your aircraft after a crash, performing routine maintenance, or upgrading your helicopter's control linkage system, these servo arms with integrated linkage balls provide the precision engineering and reliability you need to keep your Blade 230 S flying smoothly. As an authorised Blade retailer stocking genuine parts for RC helicopters in the UK, we understand how important it is to use original components that maintain your aircraft's performance and safety standards.

These servo arms are critical components in your helicopter's swashplate control system, transmitting precise control inputs from your servos to the main rotor head. Using worn or damaged servo arms can result in sluggish control response, inconsistent hovering, and reduced flight stability. By fitting genuine Blade servo arms with linkage balls, you're investing in the accuracy and reliability that competitive and recreational RC pilots demand. The linkage balls allow smooth articulation of the control rods, ensuring your helicopter responds instantly and accurately to your transmitter inputs during flight.

Maintaining your RC helicopter with quality spare parts is essential for both performance and safety. These Blade servo arms represent the kind of professional-grade components that keep serious RC helicopter enthusiasts in the air, whether you're flying casually in parks across the UK or pushing your skills in more demanding flying conditions. RC Model Shop stocks a comprehensive range of Blade 230 S spares and upgrades, making it easy to source the exact parts you need for repairs, maintenance, and improvements to your aircraft.

Key Features

  • Genuine Blade Components — These servo arms are manufactured by Blade, the original equipment maker for the 230 S helicopter, guaranteeing perfect fitment and performance that matches your aircraft's original specifications and design tolerances.
  • Integrated Linkage Balls — The linkage balls are built directly into the servo arms, providing smooth articulation and eliminating the need for separate ball connections, which reduces assembly complexity and potential points of failure in your control system.
  • Precision Control System Integration — These arms work seamlessly within the swashplate control mechanism, allowing your servos to transmit exact control inputs to the main rotor head with minimal delay or deflection, essential for responsive and stable flight.
  • Wear and Damage Replacement — Over time and with use, servo arms can become worn, bent, or cracked from impact damage, reducing control precision; these replacement arms restore your helicopter's original control responsiveness and stability.
  • Critical Swashplate Component — As part of the main rotor head linkage set assembly, these servo arms are fundamental to your helicopter's control authority and flight characteristics, making them essential for safe and enjoyable flying.
  • Genuine OEM Quality — Using official Blade parts ensures compatibility with all other 230 S components and maintains the engineering standards that keep your helicopter performing at its best throughout its flying life.

Technical Performance

The BLH Servo Arms with Linkage Balls represent precision engineering designed for the demanding requirements of RC helicopter flight. These components are manufactured to exacting tolerances to ensure smooth, responsive control input transmission from your servos to the main rotor head. The integrated linkage balls provide a critical articulation point in your helicopter's swashplate control system, allowing the control rods to move freely through their full range of motion without binding or excessive play. Built from durable materials selected for their strength-to-weight ratio, these servo arms are engineered to withstand the repeated stress of normal flight operations whilst remaining light enough to not compromise your helicopter's performance envelope. The precision fit and finish of genuine Blade components ensures that these servo arms integrate perfectly with your helicopter's control linkage set, main rotor head assembly, and servo systems. Whether you're replacing worn components due to normal wear or recovering from crash damage, these servo arms restore your Blade 230 S to its original factory performance specifications. The engineering behind these components reflects Blade's decades of experience in designing and manufacturing high-quality RC helicopters, ensuring that your aircraft maintains the control precision and stability characteristics that make the 230 S such a popular choice among RC helicopter enthusiasts throughout the United Kingdom and beyond.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Are these servo arms compatible with all versions of the Blade 230 S? — These parts are specifically designed for the Blade 230 S. It is important to verify compatibility with your specific model version, as the 230 S, V2, and Smart versions use different components. Always check your manual or part numbers before ordering to ensure you have the correct spares for your aircraft.
  • When should I replace my servo arms with linkage balls? — You should replace your servo arms if they become bent, cracked, or worn after crash damage, or if you notice sluggish control response or play in your control inputs during flight. Regular inspection of these components is good practice for maintaining your helicopter's safety and performance.
  • Will genuine Blade servo arms improve my helicopter's performance? — If your existing servo arms are worn or damaged, replacing them with genuine Blade components will restore your helicopter's original control precision, responsiveness, and flight stability. Using original equipment parts ensures compatibility and maintains the engineering standards of your aircraft.
  • How do servo arms with linkage balls differ from standard servo arms? — The integrated linkage balls in these arms provide a fixed articulation point that allows the control rods to move smoothly through their full range of motion. This design simplifies assembly, reduces the number of separate components, and eliminates potential failure points in your control system compared to designs requiring separate ball connectors.
  • What other Blade 230 S control system parts should I consider? — Blade 230 S pilots often stock replacement servo pushrods (Z-BLH1509), swashplates (Z-BLH1505), and main rotor head linkage sets (Z-BLH1504) as essential spare parts. Maintaining a selection of these components ensures you can quickly repair your helicopter after an accident and minimise downtime between flying sessions.
