This broad compatibility makes these links a smart investment for anyone with multiple SCX10 III platforms or for those building their first ready to run RC rock crawler.
Key Features
- Stainless Steel Construction — These suspension links are manufactured from stainless steel, which provides superior corrosion resistance compared to standard materials, making them ideal for extended off-road use in wet and muddy conditions commonly encountered by UK RC enthusiasts. Stainless steel's durability means these links will maintain their integrity through countless crawling sessions without degrading or losing their structural properties.
- M6 x 105mm Specification — The M6 x 105mm dimensions ensure precise fitment with your SCX10 III suspension system, maintaining exact geometry for optimal steering response and weight distribution across all four wheels during challenging rock crawling manoeuvres on technical terrain.
- Pack of Two — This product includes two stainless steel links, which allows you to replace both sides of your suspension linkage simultaneously, ensuring symmetrical geometry and balanced vehicle behaviour on uneven terrain.
- Genuine Axial Component — As an official Axial replacement part, these links are engineered to exact factory specifications, guaranteeing compatibility and performance with your SCX10 III rock crawler without modification or adaptation.
- Suspension System Support — These links form a critical part of the SCX10 III's suspension system, directly influencing how your crawler responds to terrain input, maintains stability during climbs and descents, and absorbs impacts from rocks and obstacles.
- Recognised Spare Parts — These components are listed as replacement parts and optional upgrades across the full SCX10 III model range, confirming their reliability and the confidence Axial places in them as genuine upgrade components.
Technical Performance
The AXIAL Stainless Steel Links represent precision engineering at the component level, where small details make significant differences in off-road crawler performance. Manufactured from stainless steel rather than standard materials, these suspension links offer enhanced durability and corrosion resistance that becomes particularly valuable for UK RC enthusiasts who frequently operate their vehicles in wet, muddy or salt-laden environments. The M6 x 105mm specification delivers exact dimensional compatibility with the SCX10 III's suspension geometry, maintaining the precise angles and clearances that allow this 1/10 scale rock crawler to navigate technical terrain with precision and control. Each link is engineered to withstand the stresses placed on suspension components during aggressive rock crawling, where vehicles regularly encounter significant vertical impacts, articulation loads and lateral forces. The stainless steel material maintains its structural integrity across extended use, resisting the corrosion and material degradation that can occur with alternative materials when exposed to moisture, mud and minerals common in outdoor RC crawling environments. This is particularly important for users in the UK where weather conditions frequently involve wet terrain and high moisture levels. The links work as part of the complete suspension system to control wheel travel, maintain geometry during articulation and support the vehicle's frame across uneven surfaces. When paired as a set of two, they ensure symmetrical suspension behaviour from left to right, which is essential for balanced vehicle dynamics and predictable handling characteristics during technical rock crawling.

Frequently Asked Questions
- Which SCX10 III models are these suspension links compatible with? — These stainless steel links are compatible with a comprehensive range of SCX10 III variants, including the Pro-Line 1982 Chevy K10 RTR, the Base Camp 4X4 Rock Crawler RTR in white and grey, the Coyote 4X4 RTR Brushed Rock Crawler in silver and blue, the 1987 Toyota SR5 4X4 RTR Brushed Rock Crawler, the 4WD Rock Crawler Builders Kit, the Jeep JT Gladiator with Portals RTR in black, the Early Ford Bronco 4WD Scale Crawler RTR in white and blue, and the Jeep CJ-7 4X4 RTR Rock Crawler in copper and red. This extensive compatibility makes them a valuable component for builders with multiple SCX10 III platforms or those upgrading their existing crawler.
- Why would I need to replace these suspension links? — Suspension links can wear over time through extended use, particularly during aggressive rock crawling where vehicles encounter significant impacts and extreme articulation. Replacing them with fresh stainless steel components restores your suspension to precise factory geometry, improving handling characteristics, steering response and overall vehicle stability on technical terrain. Regular maintenance of suspension components is part of responsible RC ownership and keeps your crawler performing at its best.
- Are these links suitable for beginners? — These are suspension component replacements rather than complete assemblies, making them most appropriate for users with intermediate to advanced knowledge of RC crawler maintenance and suspension setup. Beginners should ensure they understand suspension geometry and linkage installation before attempting replacement. However, for experienced rock crawling enthusiasts, these genuine Axial parts are an excellent choice for maintaining or upgrading your SCX10 III.
- What is the advantage of stainless steel over other materials? — Stainless steel offers superior corrosion resistance compared to standard steel or aluminium, making it ideal for the UK's often wet and muddy outdoor RC crawling conditions. Stainless steel maintains its structural integrity when exposed to moisture, mud and salt, ensuring your suspension components remain reliable and visually presentable across extended seasons of use. This material choice makes these links a smart long-term investment for serious RC enthusiasts.
- How many suspension links should I buy? — This product includes two links, which allows you to replace a pair simultaneously. Depending on your replacement needs and the specific suspension geometry of your SCX10 III variant, you may need to purchase multiple packs to complete a full suspension overhaul. Check your vehicle's suspension layout to determine exactly how many links you require for your configuration.
