Overview

The Axial M4 x 75mm Steel Links are essential replacement parts for RC enthusiasts maintaining and upgrading their Axial-based RC models. These precision-engineered steel links form a critical part of the suspension and drivetrain linkage systems found on modern RC crawlers, buggies, and trucks. Whether you're a seasoned RC car UK competitor, a weekend basher, or someone discovering the world of RC for the first time, having quality replacement links in your spares box is vital for keeping your model running smoothly and safely on the track or trail.

Manufactured by Axial, a brand recognised for delivering high-quality RC components and complete ready to run RC vehicles, these steel links are built to withstand the demanding forces and stresses that RC models experience during aggressive driving, jumps, and challenging terrain. The M4 x 75mm specification refers to the M4 threaded connection (4mm metric thread) and the 75mm length, making these links compatible with a range of Axial RC models. Steel construction ensures durability and longevity compared to plastic alternatives, providing better performance under extreme driving conditions and reducing the need for frequent replacements.

This pack contains two links, giving you either a direct replacement pair or spare links to keep your RC car UK setup in top condition. Whether you're replacing worn or damaged links from normal wear and tear, or upgrading your suspension geometry, the Axial M4 x 75mm Steel Links are the perfect choice for maintaining your RC investment.

Key Features

  • M4 x 75mm Specification — The M4 metric thread size and 75mm length are engineered to fit Axial RC models that utilise this standard linkage dimension, ensuring perfect compatibility and secure fitment without modification or adaptation.
  • Steel Construction — These links are manufactured from steel rather than plastic, providing superior strength, rigidity and durability to handle the high stresses and impact forces that occur during RC driving, crawling over rocks, and aggressive off-road use.
  • Pack of Two — You receive two links in this package, providing either a complete replacement pair for both sides of your RC model or spare links for future maintenance and repairs.
  • Genuine Axial Component — As an official Axial part with model number Z-AXI234001, you can trust that these links meet the manufacturer's quality standards and specifications for fit and performance.
  • Essential Spares Item — Suspension links and drivetrain linkages are wear items on RC models and frequently require replacement due to normal use, accidents, or upgrades, making quality spares readily available.

Technical Performance

The Axial M4 x 75mm Steel Links represent a crucial component in RC suspension and drivetrain systems. Steel construction provides the rigidity and strength necessary to maintain accurate geometry and power transmission through the suspension and drive linkages of your Axial RC model. The M4 metric threading ensures compatibility with standard Axial components and provides a secure, reliable connection that won't loosen or slip during use. At 75mm in length, these links are precision-manufactured to exact tolerances, allowing them to maintain the correct suspension geometry and ride height when installed. The steel material resists bending and deformation better than plastic alternatives, particularly important when driving over rough terrain, crawling over obstacles, or experiencing hard landings and impacts. Whether you're running a crawler, buggy, or truck-style RC model from the Axial range, these links form part of the critical suspension system that connects your chassis to the wheels and controls how your vehicle responds to bumps, jumps, and driving inputs.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • What RC models are these Axial steel links compatible with? — These M4 x 75mm links are designed for Axial RC models that use this standard linkage specification. Check your vehicle's documentation or parts diagram to confirm compatibility with your specific Axial model before purchasing.
  • Why would I need replacement steel links for my RC car? — Suspension links and drivetrain linkages wear over time with normal use and can bend or break from impacts, hard landings, or accidents. Keeping spare links on hand means you can quickly get back on the track or trail without downtime. Steel links also offer an upgrade option for models originally fitted with plastic links, improving durability and performance.
  • Are these links suitable for beginners? — Yes, if your Axial RC model uses M4 x 75mm links as standard or replacement parts, these are suitable for beginners and experienced drivers alike. However, you should always check your vehicle's manual or contact Axial to confirm compatibility before installation.
  • How do I know if my links need replacing? — Inspect your suspension links regularly for cracks, bends, or warping. If you notice your RC vehicle pulling to one side, handling poorly, or if links are visibly damaged, replacement is recommended. Regular maintenance prevents bigger problems down the line.
  • What's the difference between steel and plastic links? — Steel links, like these from Axial, offer superior strength, rigidity and durability compared to plastic alternatives. They resist bending and breaking better, maintain suspension geometry more accurately, and last longer under aggressive driving conditions. Plastic links are lighter but more prone to flexing and damage.
