The ARRMA Cap Head Screw M2.5x25mm (4) Z-ARA702004 is an essential spare parts component for RC enthusiasts and serious hobbyists across the UK who demand reliability and precision in their RC models. These high-quality cap head hex machine screws are manufactured to exacting standards and provide direct replacement parts for factory-supplied fasteners on compatible ARRMA RC vehicles. Whether you're maintaining your RC car UK collection, performing routine maintenance, or rebuilding a damaged chassis, these metric-sized screws are an indispensable addition to any RC modeller's spare parts kit.

As an authorised ARRMA retailer, RC Model Shop stocks genuine spare parts that guarantee compatibility and performance with your ready to run RC models and competition-grade builds. The M2.5x25mm specification is widely used across ARRMA's popular models, making these screws a universal solution for RC enthusiasts who want to keep their vehicles in peak condition. Whether you're a weekend basher or a competitive racer, having quality replacement fasteners on hand ensures minimal downtime and maximum enjoyment of your RC hobby.

Cap head hex screws represent the gold standard for RC vehicle assembly and repair because they offer superior holding power, consistent fit, and fast servicing capabilities compared to standard fasteners. The strong steel construction combined with precision-manufactured threads means these screws will maintain their integrity through countless assembly and disassembly cycles, making them an economical choice for any RC modeller who values quality and durability in their spare parts.

Key Features

  • Strong and Durable Steel Construction — Manufactured from robust steel material, these cap head screws provide long-lasting performance and reliable fastening across multiple build and rebuild cycles, ensuring your RC vehicle remains secure during high-speed running and demanding terrain.
  • Precision Manufactured Threads — Each screw features consistently manufactured threads that guarantee a perfect fit every time, allowing for fast and reliable servicing without the frustration of stripped threads or loose fasteners that can compromise your RC model's structural integrity.
  • Cap Head Hex Configuration — The distinctive cap head hex design provides excellent grip and torque application, making these screws easy to install and remove with standard hex tools, whilst the larger head diameter distributes stress more effectively across the mounting surface.
  • M2.5 x 25mm Metric Specification — Precisely sized at 2.5mm diameter with 25mm overall length, these metric screws meet the exact specifications required by compatible ARRMA RC models, ensuring perfect fitment without modification or adapters.
  • Pack of Four Screws — Each pack includes four screws, providing multiple replacement options and allowing you to address multiple fastening points or keep spares for future maintenance and repairs.
  • Direct OEM Replacement Parts — These are genuine ARRMA replacement parts designed to match the factory specifications of kit-supplied fasteners, guaranteeing compatibility and performance that aftermarket alternatives cannot reliably deliver.

Technical Performance

The ARRMA Cap Head Screw M2.5x25mm represents precision engineering at the fastener level, combining material science with manufacturing excellence to deliver screws that withstand the demanding requirements of modern RC vehicles. The strong steel construction provides the necessary tensile strength to maintain secure connections through constant acceleration, deceleration, and terrain impact, whilst the precision-manufactured threads ensure consistent engagement with threaded holes regardless of how many assembly cycles the screw endures. The M2.5 diameter specification strikes an optimal balance between holding power and weight consideration, critical factors in competitive RC racing where every gram matters. The 25mm overall length accommodates the typical mounting depths found across ARRMA's range of 1/8 scale and other platform RC vehicles, from the Infraction 4X4 1/8 3S BLX Resto-Mod Truck RTR to the Infraction 6S BLX, ensuring these screws integrate seamlessly into your existing builds. The cap head hex configuration provides superior torque application compared to Phillips or slot-drive alternatives, reducing the risk of cam-out and fastener damage during installation or removal. For RC modellers in the UK who demand quality spare parts that deliver consistent performance, these screws represent an investment in reliability and longevity for your prized RC collection.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • What ARRMA RC models are these cap head screws compatible with? — These M2.5x25mm screws are designed as direct replacements for the ARRMA Infraction 4X4 1/8 3S BLX Resto-Mod Truck RTR (available in Gold and Teal colour variants), and the ARRMA Infraction 6S BLX (available in Blue and Silver). They are also suitable for other ARRMA models that use M2.5x25mm fastening points, making them a versatile spare part for most ARRMA 1/8 scale RC vehicles.
  • Why should I use genuine ARRMA replacement screws instead of generic fasteners? — Genuine ARRMA replacement parts like these cap head screws are engineered to match the exact specifications of your RC vehicle's original fasteners, guaranteeing perfect fit, proper thread engagement, and reliable performance. Generic fasteners may have slightly different dimensions, inferior material quality, or inconsistent thread manufacturing that can result in loose connections, stripped threads, and potential structural failure during high-speed running or competitive racing.
  • How many screws do I need and what do they cost? — This pack includes four M2.5x25mm screws, which should cover most common replacement scenarios on ARRMA RC vehicles. The current price is £6.64, representing excellent value for genuine OEM replacement parts. If you need additional quantities, you can order multiple packs to build up a comprehensive spare parts inventory for your RC collection.
  • What is the difference between cap head and button head screws for RC applications? — Cap head screws feature a larger, more pronounced hex-shaped head that provides superior torque application and easier grip with standard hex tools, making them ideal for fastening points that require reliable, repeatable assembly. Button head screws have a smaller, more streamlined head profile that can be useful where space is limited or where a lower-profile aesthetic is desired. For most ARRMA RC vehicles, cap head screws like these offer the optimal balance of holding power, ease of use, and compatibility with standard RC tool sets.
  • Can these screws be used for other RC vehicles or purposes? — Whilst these screws are specifically designed as ARRMA replacement parts, the M2.5x25mm metric specification is relatively common across various RC platforms and automotive applications. However, always verify compatibility with your specific RC vehicle before substituting them for original fasteners, as thread pitch and head style variations can affect fitment and performance.
  • How do I install these cap head screws correctly? — Use a properly-fitting metric hex key (typically 2mm for M2.5 cap head screws) to ensure good contact with the hex recess, preventing cam-out and fastener damage. Apply consistent, moderate torque to achieve a snug fit without over-tightening, which can strip threads or crack mounting bosses. For precision applications, some RC modellers use a small torque wrench calibrated to approximately 0.5-0.8 Nm for M2.5 fasteners.
