Overview
The ARRMA Ball Bearing, 12x24x6mm (2) Z-ARA610032 is an essential replacement bearing pair designed specifically for ARRMA RC cars and trucks. Whether you're maintaining your 1/10 scale RC vehicle, upgrading worn components, or building a custom setup, these precision ball bearings are engineered to deliver smooth, reliable performance. As a UK RC hobbyist, you'll appreciate the quality engineering that goes into every ARRMA spare part, ensuring your radio controlled car continues to perform at its best whether you're bashing at weekends or competing seriously.
Ball bearings are critical components in any RC model, responsible for reducing friction in rotating assemblies and enabling smooth operation of drive shafts, differential carriers, and other moving parts. When your existing bearings wear out or start to bind, replacing them with genuine ARRMA spares is the quickest way to restore your RC car's handling and performance. These 12x24x6mm bearings come as a matched pair, meaning you get two identical units in one package, making them ideal for applications where symmetrical bearing installation is required.
ARRMA is renowned throughout the RC hobby community for manufacturing high-quality, durable models that can handle both casual bashing and serious racing. Their spare parts line is equally impressive, offering direct replacements and upgrade options that maintain the same precision standards as their complete RC cars. If you own an ARRMA RC vehicle or are looking to upgrade your current setup with premium components, these ball bearings represent a genuine, manufacturer-approved choice that you can trust.
Key Features
- Genuine ARRMA Component — These are authentic ARRMA spares manufactured to the same exacting standards as the original bearings in your RC car, ensuring perfect fitment and reliable long-term performance in your remote control vehicle.
- 12x24x6mm Precision Dimensions — The specific sizing of these bearings makes them suitable for a range of ARRMA models, and the precision tolerances ensure smooth rotation with minimal play or wobble in your RC mechanism.
- Matched Pair Included — You receive two identical bearings in one purchase, providing both left and right side components or allowing you to upgrade multiple assemblies at once, which is convenient and cost-effective for UK RC enthusiasts.
- Ball Bearing Construction — Ball bearings offer excellent speed capability and low friction compared to some alternative bearing types, making them ideal for high-performance RC applications where responsiveness and efficiency matter.
- Easy Installation — As a direct ARRMA replacement part, these bearings integrate seamlessly into existing ARRMA chassis and component assemblies without requiring modification or adaptation.
Technical Performance
The ARRMA Ball Bearing 12x24x6mm represents precision engineering designed to meet the demanding requirements of modern RC cars and trucks. The 12mm inner bore, 24mm outer diameter, and 6mm width create a compact yet robust bearing capable of handling the high rotational speeds and lateral forces typical in radio controlled vehicles. Ball bearings like these are engineered with hardened steel races and polished steel balls to minimise friction and maximise durability. The precision tolerances built into these components ensure that when you install them in your ARRMA RC car, they rotate smoothly with virtually no wobble or binding. This is particularly important in differential assemblies, where bearing quality directly impacts handling precision and traction control. Whether you're running your RC vehicle over rough terrain or smooth track surfaces, these bearings maintain consistent performance by allowing smooth rotation of drive components. The material composition and manufacturing quality typical of genuine ARRMA parts means these bearings will withstand repeated cycles of acceleration, braking, cornering and impacts without premature wear or failure. For UK-based RC hobbyists who demand reliability from their equipment, these bearings deliver the performance standards ARRMA is known for throughout the remote control car community.

Frequently Asked Questions
- Which ARRMA RC models use the 12x24x6mm ball bearing? — These bearings are designed as replacement spares for select ARRMA vehicles. To confirm compatibility with your specific RC car or truck model, we recommend checking your vehicle's spare parts diagram or contacting our team at RC Model Shop for assistance matching the bearing to your model.
- What is the difference between ball bearings and other bearing types? — Ball bearings use rolling steel balls to reduce friction and are excellent for high-speed applications common in RC cars. They offer superior performance to sleeve bearings in most racing and bashing scenarios, providing smoother operation and better handling response in your remote control vehicle.
- How often should I replace bearings on my ARRMA RC car? — Bearing replacement intervals depend on usage intensity and maintenance habits. Casual weekend bashers might replace bearings annually, whilst competitive racers or heavy users may need replacements every few months. If you notice your RC vehicle becoming sluggish, pulling to one side, or hearing grinding noises, it's time to replace the bearings.
- Can I use these bearings as upgrades on non-ARRMA models? — The 12x24x6mm dimension is a common bearing size used across various RC manufacturers. However, we always recommend verifying compatibility with your specific vehicle before purchasing. Our experienced team at RC Model Shop can help confirm whether these bearings will work with your particular RC car or truck.
- Are these genuine ARRMA bearings? — Yes, absolutely. RC Model Shop stocks only genuine ARRMA spare parts from authorised distributors. When you purchase the Z-ARA610032 from us, you're getting authentic manufacturer components with the same quality assurance and durability guarantees as original equipment.
