Overview

The ARRMA Steel Turnbuckle M5x65mm in Black is an essential replacement spare part for your 1/7 scale RC models, specifically engineered for the ARRMA Mojave 6S V2 BLX range. These precision-manufactured turnbuckles are the backbone of your RC car's suspension geometry and steering response, making them a critical component for both bashers and competitive RC enthusiasts across the UK. Whether you're setting up a new RC model truck or maintaining an existing chassis, having high-quality turnbuckles ensures your vehicle performs at its peak.

Turnbuckles are threaded adjustment components that connect your suspension links to the chassis and suspension towers, allowing you to fine-tune ride height, camber angles, and overall suspension geometry. As an RC hobbyist who enjoys weekend bashing or competitive racing, you'll appreciate that ARRMA's steel turnbuckles offer durability and reliability that withstands the punishment of off-road driving. When your existing turnbuckles wear out or get damaged during a crash, having genuine ARRMA replacement parts ensures your RC car UK setup remains consistent and performs exactly as the engineers intended.

These steel turnbuckles represent ARRMA's commitment to quality throughout their RC model range. With a tough steel construction and a sleek black finish, they not only perform brilliantly but also look the part on your 1/7 scale monster truck or RC buggy. This spare part pack contains two turnbuckles, giving you flexibility in your setup and the ability to replace worn components quickly so you can get back to driving.

Key Features

  • Tough Steel Material — These turnbuckles are constructed from durable steel that resists bending and warping even during hard crashes and aggressive driving, ensuring long-lasting durability and crash resistance that keeps your RC car performing reliably over extended periods of use.
  • Precision Manufactured Threads — The threads on these M5x65mm turnbuckles are precision-engineered to extremely tight tolerances, enabling fast and easy installation and adjustment without cross-threading or binding, which saves you time during setup and maintenance of your RC model.
  • 5mm Adjuster Design — The specially designed 5mm adjuster allows for fast and precise set-up changes to your suspension geometry, enabling you to dial in your ride height, camber, and overall handling characteristics with confidence and repeatability every single time you take your RC car to the track or field.
  • Black Finish — The smart black colour provides excellent visual appeal and a professional appearance that complements the aesthetic of your ARRMA Mojave 6S V2 BLX and other compatible RC models, while the finish also provides corrosion resistance for longevity.
  • Pack of Two — This spare part pack includes two steel turnbuckles, giving you replacement options and the ability to upgrade multiple components simultaneously on your RC chassis.

Technical Performance

These ARRMA steel turnbuckles represent precision engineering specifically developed for 1/7 scale high-performance RC models. The M5x65mm specification indicates the thread size (M5) and the overall length (65mm), making them compatible with specific mounting points on the ARRMA Mojave 6S V2 BLX platform. Steel construction provides superior strength compared to aluminium alternatives, offering better resistance to the vibrations and impacts experienced during off-road RC driving. The precision-manufactured threads ensure smooth operation when adjusting suspension geometry, critical for fine-tuning your RC car's handling characteristics. Whether you're building a ready-to-run RC model from the ground up or maintaining a well-used chassis, these turnbuckles deliver the build quality and engineering integrity that serious RC enthusiasts expect from genuine ARRMA parts. The black finish not only looks professional but also provides a protective layer against corrosion and weathering.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • What are turnbuckles and why do I need them for my RC car? — Turnbuckles are threaded adjustment components that connect your suspension links to the chassis and towers. They allow you to adjust suspension geometry including ride height, camber angle, and toe-in settings. Every RC vehicle needs functional turnbuckles to maintain proper handling and suspension geometry. Damaged or worn turnbuckles should be replaced immediately as they directly affect how your RC model performs on the track or field.
  • Are these turnbuckles compatible with my ARRMA Mojave? — Yes, these M5x65mm steel turnbuckles are specifically designed and tested for compatibility with the ARRMA Mojave 6S V2 BLX in both Green/Black (C-ARA7604V2T1) and Red/Black (C-ARA7604V2T2) variants. Always verify your model's specific compatibility before purchasing replacement parts for your RC car UK setup.
  • Why choose steel over aluminium turnbuckles? — Steel turnbuckles offer superior strength and durability compared to lighter aluminium alternatives, providing better resistance to bending during hard impacts and aggressive driving. Steel is the preferred material for high-performance RC models where reliability is paramount, though they do weigh slightly more. ARRMA's choice of steel reflects their engineering philosophy of durability and performance.
  • How do I install these turnbuckles on my RC model? — The precision-manufactured threads ensure straightforward installation. Simply unscrew your old turnbuckles from the suspension links and chassis mounting points, then install the new steel units by screwing them in until you achieve the correct suspension geometry and ride height. The 5mm adjuster design makes it easy to dial in precise adjustments. If you're unsure about suspension geometry, consult your ARRMA Mojave manual or contact RC Model Shop for guidance.
  • How often should I replace my turnbuckles? — Turnbuckles should be inspected regularly for signs of bending, stripping threads, or damage from crashes. With heavy use, they may need replacement every 6-12 months depending on your driving intensity. These ARRMA steel units offer excellent longevity, but keeping spares on hand ensures you can quickly return to driving if damage occurs.
  • Will these turnbuckles fit other ARRMA models? — The M5x65mm specification is common across many ARRMA 1/7 scale models, but compatibility varies. These are confirmed compatible with the Mojave 6S V2 BLX. Check your specific model's documentation or contact our team at RC Model Shop to verify compatibility before purchasing for other vehicles.
