Overview

The ARRMA Servo Horn Metal 25T Aluminum Red Z-AR340102 is a premium replacement servo horn designed for RC enthusiasts who demand precision engineering and reliable performance from their RC car setups. Whether you're running a competitive RC buggy, RC monster truck, or any ARRMA-compatible vehicle, this high-quality aluminium servo horn provides the perfect upgrade from standard kit-supplied components. Built to exacting tolerances and finished in striking anodised red, this servo horn combines durability with the aesthetic appeal that serious RC hobbyists expect from their equipment.

This servo horn is ideal for RC car UK enthusiasts looking to enhance their vehicle's steering precision and longevity. If you've experienced wear on your original servo horn or simply want to upgrade to a more robust component, this ARRMA part offers a direct replacement solution that maintains perfect fitment with your existing servo spline configuration. The precision-manufactured design ensures hassle-free installation and consistent operation across multiple driving sessions, whether you're enjoying casual weekend bashing or pushing your RC vehicle to its limits on the track.

For anyone involved in competitive RC racing or serious hobbyist driving, component quality matters. A servo horn that wears prematurely can compromise steering response and feel, affecting your overall driving experience. This aluminium alternative to plastic stock horns provides superior durability and is engineered to withstand the stresses of aggressive driving, high-speed cornering, and demanding terrain that RC car enthusiasts regularly encounter.

Key Features

  • Precision Manufactured Aluminium Construction — This servo horn is precision engineered from high-quality aluminium alloy, offering significantly greater durability and consistency compared to plastic alternatives, ensuring reliable performance across countless driving sessions without flex or distortion.
  • 25 Tooth Servo Spline Configuration — The 25T spline pattern is specifically designed to fit ARRMA servo specifications, providing a secure, wobble-free connection that maintains perfect steering geometry and response no matter how aggressively you drive your RC vehicle.
  • Anodised Red Finish — Beyond the visual appeal that matches ARRMA's distinctive red branding, the anodised coating provides increased durability and corrosion resistance, protecting the aluminium from oxidation and extending the component's working lifespan even in challenging outdoor conditions.
  • Optional Replacement Design — This horn is designed as a direct replacement for kit-supplied servo horns, allowing you to upgrade a single component without requiring a full vehicle rebuild, making it an economical way to enhance your existing RC car setup.
  • Consistent Operation and Hassle-Free Fit — The precision manufacturing process guarantees that this servo horn will fit perfectly first time, without requiring modifications, adjustments, or frustrating alignment issues that can plague lesser-quality aftermarket components.
  • Fixed Servo Saver Type — This horn is configured as a fixed option, making it suitable for vehicles that use fixed servo mounting, providing a direct, mechanical connection to your servo that translates every steering input with precision and responsiveness.

Technical Performance

The ARRMA Servo Horn Metal 25T represents the pinnacle of RC servo horn engineering, combining aerospace-grade aluminium alloy with precision CNC manufacturing to create a component that outperforms plastic alternatives in every measurable way. The 25-tooth spline configuration is the standard specification for many ARRMA vehicles, and the precision tolerance of this horn ensures that it interfaces perfectly with your servo without any play, wobble, or slop that could degrade steering feel. The anodised red coating isn't merely cosmetic; it's a functional treatment that harddens the aluminium surface, increasing wear resistance and protecting against corrosion from moisture and road salt—critical considerations for UK-based RC enthusiasts who may operate their vehicles in varied weather conditions. The material density and construction method of this aluminium horn means it resists bending under load far better than plastic components, maintaining your servo's steering geometry even during aggressive cornering or when the servo is operating at maximum torque. This is particularly important for drivers using high-torque digital servos or running competitive RC vehicle setups where steering precision can determine race outcomes. The fixed servo saver configuration makes this horn ideal for vehicles designed for direct servo mounting, providing a rigid coupling that ensures every adjustment you make to your transmitter translates immediately and accurately to your vehicle's steering inputs. Whether you're replacing a worn original component, upgrading from plastic to aluminium for improved durability, or building a competition-grade RC car setup, this servo horn delivers the performance and longevity that serious RC enthusiasts expect.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • What is the difference between a 25T servo horn and other tooth configurations available? — ARRMA produces servo horns in multiple tooth configurations including 23T, 24T, and 25T variants. The tooth count refers to the number of spline teeth on the servo's output shaft that the horn connects to. The 25T configuration is designed for specific ARRMA models and servo types, and using the correct tooth count is essential for proper fitment and operation. If your vehicle originally came with a 25T horn, replacing it with this ARRMA component ensures perfect compatibility.
  • Is aluminium better than the plastic servo horn that came with my ARRMA kit? — Yes, aluminium offers several significant advantages over plastic. Aluminium is substantially more durable and resistant to wear, maintains its shape and rigidity under load far better than plastic, and provides superior longevity when exposed to the stresses of aggressive driving, high-speed cornering, and rough terrain. For RC enthusiasts in the UK who regularly use their vehicles, upgrading to an aluminium servo horn is a sensible investment that typically pays for itself through extended component lifespan and improved driving experience.
  • Will this servo horn work with my current servo? — This servo horn features a 25-tooth spline configuration and fixed servo mounting design. It will work with any ARRMA-compatible servo that has a 25T output shaft. If you're unsure whether your servo has a 25T spline, check your vehicle's documentation or the servo specifications. ARRMA also produces 23T and 24T variants if your vehicle requires a different configuration.
  • How do I install this servo horn? — Installation is straightforward and designed to be hassle-free. Simply align the 25-tooth spline pattern with your servo's output shaft and slide the horn onto the servo until it sits flush. Most ARRMA vehicles use a simple grub screw or set screw to secure the horn in place. Refer to your vehicle's assembly manual for specific torque specifications. The precision manufacturing of this horn means it should fit without requiring adjustment or modification.
  • Can I use this servo horn as a direct replacement for my original? — Yes, the ARRMA Servo Horn Metal 25T is designed specifically as an optional replacement for kit-supplied servo horns. If your vehicle originally included a 25T servo horn, this aluminium variant will fit directly in its place, requiring no modifications or adjustments to your vehicle's steering linkage or geometry.
  • Why should I upgrade from plastic to aluminium? — For casual weekend driving, the original plastic servo horn may be adequate, but for regular use, competitive driving, or anyone who wants maximum durability and reliability, an aluminium servo horn is worthwhile. Aluminium resists wear and deformation far better than plastic, maintains steering precision over time, and is less likely to suffer damage if you hit obstacles or experience a crash. The improved performance and extended lifespan typically make the upgrade cost-effective.
