Overview
The ARRMA Shock Spring 75mm (2) Z-AR330417 is an essential suspension upgrade and maintenance component for RC enthusiasts across the UK who demand consistent performance from their ARRMA RC vehicles. Whether you're a seasoned RC car UK competitor or a weekend basher enjoying ready to run RC models, these precision-manufactured shock springs are engineered to deliver reliable, predictable handling characteristics across a wide range of driving conditions. As an official ARRMA part constructed from high-quality materials, these 75mm shock springs represent the gold standard in suspension tuning for your brushless RC car or electric RC truck.
If you've noticed your ARRMA model's suspension response becoming sluggish, or you're simply looking to fine-tune your vehicle's handling for specific track conditions or driving styles, these genuine ARRMA shock springs are the perfect upgrade. The 75mm length combined with the 317GF/mm spring rate makes this a versatile choice suitable for various ARRMA platforms, including the popular Nero model. These aren't generic aftermarket replacements—they're the exact same components that ARRMA engineers specify for optimal performance and durability.
Suspension tuning is one of the most impactful yet often overlooked aspects of RC car setup. The right shock springs can transform your vehicle's cornering grip, stability under braking, and overall responsiveness. By choosing these official ARRMA shock springs, you're making an investment in authentic engineering and proven performance that will keep your RC truck or buggy handling at its best.
Key Features
- Official ARRMA Component — These are genuine ARRMA parts, not third-party alternatives, meaning they meet the exact specifications and quality standards that ARRMA engineers designed your vehicle around. This ensures perfect compatibility and performance.
- Precision Manufacturing — Constructed from high-quality materials using precision manufacturing processes, these shock springs deliver consistent performance and durability across countless hours of driving. Precision-manufactured springs maintain their characteristics far longer than inferior alternatives.
- 75mm Length — The 75mm dimension is optimised for specific ARRMA platforms, providing the perfect balance of compression travel and ride height. This length ensures your vehicle maintains the intended suspension geometry for predictable handling.
- 317GF/mm Spring Rate — This moderate spring rate (measured in gram-force per millimetre) provides a balanced setup that works well across multiple driving surfaces and styles, making it ideal for both track racing and general bashing with your RC car UK.
- Pair Included — You receive two shock springs in this package, providing complete front and rear suspension coverage or allowing you to replace both springs simultaneously for perfectly matched suspension characteristics.
- Enhanced Handling Characteristics — By upgrading or replacing worn shock springs, you'll notice immediate improvements in your vehicle's cornering stability, bump absorption, and overall responsiveness during acceleration and braking.
- Durable Construction — High-quality materials ensure these springs maintain their shape and performance characteristics even under the demanding conditions that come with regular RC use, whether you're running on track, dirt, or pavement.
Technical Performance
The ARRMA Shock Spring 75mm (2) Z-AR330417 represents the pinnacle of suspension component engineering for electric RC vehicles. These shock springs are engineered with a specific spring rate of 317GF/mm, which provides the ideal balance between compliance and support for a wide range of driving conditions encountered by RC car UK users. The 75mm length is precisely calibrated to work with ARRMA's suspension geometry, ensuring that when you install these springs, your vehicle's ride height, anti-roll bar effectiveness, and overall handling balance remain true to ARRMA's design specifications. Built from high-quality materials through precision manufacturing processes, these springs maintain consistent performance characteristics throughout their service life, resisting the fatigue and permanent deformation that can occur with inferior components. Whether you're running a brushless RC truck at high speeds or tackling technical terrain with your ready to run RC model, these shock springs will provide the responsive, predictable suspension behaviour that separates competitive setups from mediocre ones. The engineering excellence evident in these components demonstrates why using genuine ARRMA parts is crucial for maintaining your vehicle's performance standards and longevity.

Frequently Asked Questions
- Are these shock springs compatible with all ARRMA RC vehicles? — These 75mm shock springs are specifically designed for compatible ARRMA platforms, most notably the ARRMA Nero model. Always verify your vehicle model's specifications to ensure compatibility, as different ARRMA models may use different shock spring sizes or rates. Contact RC Model Shop if you're unsure about compatibility with your specific RC truck or buggy.
- What is the spring rate, and does it matter for my RC car? — These springs feature a spring rate of 317GF/mm (gram-force per millimetre), which is a moderate rate suitable for mixed driving conditions. Spring rate affects how your vehicle responds to bumps, corners, and acceleration: softer springs provide better compliance over rough terrain, whilst stiffer springs improve cornering stability and response. The 317GF/mm rate strikes an excellent balance for most drivers and conditions.
- How often should I replace my shock springs? — Shock springs should be inspected regularly and replaced when they show signs of permanent deformation, loss of performance, or visible damage. Heavy use may require replacement more frequently than casual driving. If you notice your vehicle sitting lower than usual, or if the suspension feels less responsive, it's time to invest in fresh shock springs.
- Can I mix different spring rates on the same vehicle? — Whilst it's technically possible to run different spring rates front and rear, this will alter your vehicle's handling balance. For optimal performance and predictable handling, ARRMA engineers recommend running matching spring rates front and rear, which is why this package includes a pair.
- What's the difference between these ARRMA springs and aftermarket alternatives? — Genuine ARRMA shock springs are engineered and tested specifically for your vehicle, ensuring perfect compatibility and performance that matches ARRMA's design specifications. Aftermarket springs may vary in quality, consistency, and longevity. By choosing official ARRMA components, you're guaranteed authentic engineering and proven reliability.
- Are these suitable for beginners? — Yes, these shock springs are suitable for all experience levels, from complete beginners with ready to run RC models to experienced competitors. They're the genuine component your ARRMA vehicle was engineered to use, so they'll work perfectly whether you're learning to drive or racing competitively.
