These high-quality shock balls are precision-engineered to maintain consistent performance across all driving conditions, whether you're bashing at the weekend or competing on the track. If you own an RC car UK model that uses ARRMA suspension components, keeping spare shock balls in your toolkit ensures you're never left stranded with a broken suspension setup.
Shock balls are critical connection points in your RC car's suspension system, and choosing the right replacement parts makes all the difference to handling, stability and longevity. This four-pack of genuine ARRMA shock balls gives you multiple replacement options, ensuring your RC model continues to perform at its peak whether you're driving on grass, tarmac, dirt or rocky terrain. These components are particularly important for basher vehicles and ready to run RC models that see regular use, as suspension wear is one of the most common reasons for performance degradation over time.
Whether you're a seasoned RC competitor, a weekend enthusiast, or someone who enjoys regular RC car UK adventures, having quality suspension spares on hand is simply good practice. The ARRMA Shock Ball 3x6.8x6.3mm represents the kind of genuine, durable component that keeps your RC investment running smoothly for years to come.
Key Features
- Super-tough steel material — These shock balls are manufactured from premium steel that resists wear, corrosion and deformation under heavy use. Steel construction ensures they maintain their shape and function through countless impacts and driving sessions, providing reliable suspension geometry and handling characteristics every time you drive.
- Precision 3x6.8x6.3mm dimensions — The specific size specification ensures perfect compatibility with ARRMA suspension systems that are designed around these exact measurements. Using the correct size maintains proper geometry and prevents loose or misaligned suspension components that could affect handling and increase wear on other parts.
- Four balls per pack — This generous four-pack gives you spare parts for multiple replacement cycles or allows you to stock spares for multiple RC vehicles. Having backup components means you can keep driving rather than waiting for replacements to arrive, maximising your enjoyment and track time.
- Essential suspension spare — Shock balls are wear items that eventually degrade through normal use, making replacements a regular requirement for active RC car UK owners. Keeping genuine ARRMA spares ensures your suspension maintains manufacturer specifications and performance characteristics.
Technical Performance
The ARRMA Shock Ball 3x6.8x6.3mm (4) Z-AR330206 represents precision engineering in suspension component design. The 3x6.8x6.3mm specification is the exact size required for ARRMA suspension systems, ensuring perfect fit and optimal suspension geometry. Manufactured from super-tough steel, these shock balls are engineered to withstand the constant articulation, compression and directional forces that suspension systems experience during driving. The steel material provides excellent durability across all weather conditions and terrain types, resisting the corrosion and wear that can develop from exposure to moisture, dirt and abrasive surfaces commonly encountered in UK RC racing and recreational driving. Whether your RC model spends time on grass tracks, purpose-built off-road circuits or improvised bash courses, these shock balls maintain their integrity and performance. The four balls included in this pack ensure you have adequate spares for maintenance rotations, allowing you to replace worn components promptly and keep your suspension performing at factory specifications.

Frequently Asked Questions
- What are shock balls and why do I need them? — Shock balls, also called shock mounts or pivot balls, are suspension components that serve as connection points between suspension arms and shock bodies. They allow suspension articulation while maintaining structural integrity. Over time and with regular use, shock balls wear, deform or crack, causing loose suspension geometry and poor handling. Replacing them is essential maintenance that keeps your RC car UK model performing reliably.
- How often should I replace shock balls on my ARRMA RC car? — The frequency depends on driving intensity and terrain. Casual weekend bashers might replace shock balls every few months, while competitive drivers may need replacements every few weeks. Regular inspection of suspension components helps you identify when replacement is necessary. This four-pack gives you multiple replacement cycles before you need to reorder.
- Are these compatible with all ARRMA models? — These 3x6.8x6.3mm shock balls are designed for ARRMA models that use this specific size specification. It's essential to verify compatibility with your particular model before purchasing. Check your vehicle's manual or contact your RC retailer UK to confirm your model uses this size before ordering.
- Why choose genuine ARRMA shock balls over generic alternatives? — Genuine ARRMA shock balls are manufactured to precise specifications that match your vehicle's suspension design. Using genuine parts ensures your suspension geometry remains correct, maintaining the handling characteristics the vehicle was engineered to deliver. Generic or incorrect-sized components can cause suspension binding, excessive wear on other parts, and unpredictable handling.
- How long do shock balls typically last? — Lifespan varies based on driving intensity, terrain roughness and maintenance practices. Regular drivers may get several months of use, whilst competition-level drivers may require more frequent replacement. Inspecting suspension components regularly helps you catch worn parts before they affect performance or damage surrounding components.
